main: you know those playlists with titles like “you’re a 19th century debutante and you’ve fallen in love with your childhood friend who’s become a duke”? yeah. those. LSDJFKDJF but he’s also a fan of Those Remixes that are like “hozier ‘in a week’ but you’re rotting in a field” because.. just because. on a more serious note, though, i see jiwon as a huge fan of music that just kind of? transports him?? to different mindsets? florence + the machine! the soundtrack for pride and prejudice (2005) !! baek yerin! this has made me realise jiwon is very dreamy and i’m digging it ♥ definitely a digital listener. he’s got that spotify premium on auto-renew, and if he isn’t otherwise engaged in conversation, he’ll be listening to music. before the hit-and-run, jiwon would have gone to concerts pretty regularly?? for both local and a-list artists. nowadays it would be rare to find him at a concert. there are too many logistics to sort out, so it turns into more of a hassle, and that makes jiwon sad because he would love to go to a concert, but.. his leg. the noise. the crowds. :(

otherside: soft things!! like the softest, gentlest, quiet little folksy music that just helps you breathe. ‘tell the truth’ by the avett brothers comes to mind. kina grannis is also on his frequently played, especially her album ‘elements.’ he’ll listen to message to bears every now and then, but not too often because eventually he’ll start spiraling in his thoughts and the music (for him) will go from relaxing to eerie to suffocating. on a lighter note, i think he’d really be into the ratatouille (2007) soundtrack LASDKJFLJ he is listening to music 90% of the time. music keeps him grounded. even when he’s talking to someone, he most likely has one earpod in with the volume on 15%. his therapist won’t let him listen to music during sessions. :( when jiwon sleeps, he’s wearing headphones and has a CD player running. (pods make his ears hurt after a while.) sooo 70% digital, 30% physical listening! he’s been to a handful of concerts, but he’s more likely to watch local artists busking on his way home. (he always donates and thanks them for working hard!)

bitter: um ASLKDJFKJ outwardly, julien listens to a mix of whatever’s popular at the moment and a variety of classical music. his spotify unwrapped would be rather innocuous, won’t raise any questions or red flags, though i’m sure it would be interesting to see megan thee stallion’s ‘her’ followed immediately by mendelssohn’s ‘violin concerto in e minor, op. 64, mvmt. i’ dkfjdkfjd juli is also primarily a digital listener, but he has a very nice set-up at home specifically for CDs and LPs. so if he’s at home, physical is his first choice. now... if we’re talking about j████, he’s a whole other story but he doesn’t exist anymore so ¯\(ツ)/¯ anyway, juli listens to music pretty often? when he’s working out, driving to the country club, cooking at home... but the volume is always relatively low because he has to keep tabs on the conversations around him. not a huge concert person, but he’ll attend if invited. you’ll find him chatting with suits in the executive suite stocked with michelin star catering, a fully functional kitchen. and private bathrooms.
