*3rd person pov*

You sat in your living room whith your two best friends; Meegs and Bug. You were all re-watching The Lion King because Mike insisted on it.

After a while you look over to see Meegs with tears in his eyes and Mike sobbing quietly during Mufasa's death scene. You giggle and tease them about it and in response both boys throw pillows at you.

"Hey! You can't hit a girl!" you call out and you hit Meegs, who is the closest to you with the pillow. In response the latino shoves you off the couch playfully. Mike then pushes Meegs off the couch and you all start wrestling each other on the floor.

Dez and Anastasia walk in after coming home from their date and Rayna comes in behind them from her trip to the beach with her daughter.

"It is too fucking quite for Meegs, (y/n), and Mike being at home." Dez mumbles as they all quietly walk further into the house.

They all cover their mouths to try and not laugh too loud incase they wake up the sleeping pile of twenty years olds that is on the living room floor.

"Oh my god they’re adorable" Anastasia whispers and Rayna nods along with her.

Mile had his back to the couch, his head leaning back with soft snores being heard. Meegs was using Mike as a pillow with his arms wrapped around (y/n), his head resting on the white boy's stomach. While (y/n) was snuggled up against Meegs' side, her head on his chest and her arms wrapped around him like a teddybear. They all looked very comfortable and cozy.

"I need a picture of this, oh my god they're adorable" Rayna whispers excitedly, she pulls out her phone from her back pocket after handing little Rose (the baby) to Dez. Snapping many pictures of the sleeping trio, she then covers them with a fuzzy blanket for comfort.

Meegs sat on the ground in his mother's basement. He was sifting through an old box labeled 'Miguel’s toys', next to him were a couple other boxes with his name on them. Y/n sat on the stairs watching their boyfriend go through his old stuff.

They were moving into their new home and Meegs' mom decided it would be a good idea to have her son go through his old stuff so that she can clear up some space in her basement.

"Holy shit!" Meegs gasps, snapping y/n out of their train of thought. They looks up at him in confusion.

"This is my old toy truck, I thought it was gone for ever." They watch their boyfriend's face lighten up like a Christmas tree, a large goofy grin spreading across his lips. Y/n giggles at their boyfriends and moves to sit next to them.

"Oh look! A year book." Meegs picks up the book and starts going through it.

"This is my middle school year book. I remember this asshole, he dunked my head in the bathroom stalls every Thursday for some reason," he says as he points to a chubby blonde boy.

"She used to tell her older brother that I was sending little love letters when I wasn't, and I got my ass handed to me every time," he added pointing to brunet girl with pink pigtails.

" She was a bitch, and so was she" he continues pointing at different people.

"Seems you had a great middle school experience." Y/n sarcastically comments as they peck Meegs on their cheek.

"Yeah, pushed into a locker on Mondays, pushed down the stairs on Tuesdays, head dunked into a toilet on Thursdays, get my ass handed to me by that girls brother on Fridays, mass was Saturday, and then I can finally get a break on Sunday cuz that's when we would practice music way before Coal Chamber was a thing." Meegs says as he lists off the days on his fingers.

"Well, it's all behind you now. Let's take you're boxes home." y/n says laying their head on their boyfriend's shoulder.

"Eeh, I'll let mom give this shit to charity.” Meegs waves off.

He stands up and picks up a box labeled 'Miguel’s photos' , but before heading up the stairs he pauses and turns back around. He picks up the toy truck and the year books that were in another bocks then heads back upstairs with y/n trailing behind him.

Once they arrived home, Meegs takes the box to the basement and stays down there to sort the contents of the box out. Y/n on the other hand puts some left over food in the microwave.

Meegs comes back up stairs with the truck in his hand. Y/n smiles fondly at their boyfriend.

"You look so cute with that truck. I love it when you smile." Meegs looks up at them and smiles.

"Well it's a good thing that I don't do it a lot. That way it stays our little thing." he approaches his shorter partner and hugs them.

"I love you Miguel."

"I love you too, mi corazón"

Meegs sat alone in his apartment, he was waiting for his girlfriend y/n to come home from work. Seeing as Friday is always pizza night, he took the liberty of ordering dinner for the two.

After 30 more minutes pass, Meegs hears the door open and in walks the most beautiful angel he has ever seen.

"Hi babe, I'm home." y/n calls out to her husband who is walking towards her with open arms.

"How was your day at work?" he asks as his wife cuddles up to him.

"It sucked ass." she huffs, "not only is the deadline for the game in two months, our boss also just dropped a new project on us that he wants us to start next week" she complains while Meegs start to sway them from side to side (plz get the reference).

"I'm sorry to hear that babe." Meegs sighs as he rubs circles on her back.

"Well, good thing it's Friday! We get to eat pizza!" y/n exclaims to which Meegs responds which a light chuckle.

"How about this, I go pick up the pizza and you go take a shower, get into some comfy clothes, and pick a movie to watch. How does that sound?" Meegs asks looking down at his wife with his arms around her waist.

"It sounds perfect. I love you, my little TacoBell." she coos at him to which he just scrunches up his nose.

"You really need to stop calling me that. I don't want Bash to hear it and start calling me that instead. Its already bad enough that he calls me Brown Sugar." Meegs playfully complains with a smile on his face.

"Ok sweetheart. I won't call you that in front of little Bash." y/n say while pecking his lips.

"Go get ready mi corazón." he mumble into the kiss.

Meegs returns to find his wife sitting under a pile of blankets and cushions in a shape of a tent. He simply chuckles and joins her in the pillow fort.

"Querida it seems that you've made yourself comfortable" he asks to which the girl responds with a nod and a cute smile on her lips.

"What movie are we watching babe?" he asks as he opens the pizza box and hands a slice to his wife before taking one for himself.

"We are watching The Dark Knight ... again." she responds as she cuddles into Meegs' side.

"As long as you're happy, it's fine by me" he mumbles as he wraps an around her and pulling her closer.

They continue to cuddle as they watch the movie while eating their dinner.

After a while, Meegs stopped hearing his wife mumbling the Joker's lines under her breath, so he looks over to her and finds her curled up into his side asleep.

He smiles and turns off the TV. Readjusting their position, he lays down next to his wife on the pile of soft and comfortable blankets.

"Te amo tanto mi querida." he whispers as he looks down at the love of his life. "No sé cómo sería mi vida sin ti." he adds as he lets a heavy sigh pass through his lips.

"dormir bien mi corazón." he says before kissing her forehead and finally allowing his body to rest.

part 1

*3rd person pov*

Over the course of two days, Dez slowly got Meegs to get back into his usual habits, while staying clear of Rayna's way.

Unfortunately, the option to stay away from Rayna was not presenting itself because the AC in the back of the bus was broken. The whole back part of the bus was like a raging inferno, which makes sense since it is the middle of summer in Arizona.

Rayna and Mike sat at the little table while Dez and Meegs lounged on the couch.

Meegs was absent minded, scribbling in his notebook while Dez looked at him with a caring gaze. Unfortunately, Rayna saw that look and decided to start up problems again.

"So Meegs, how have you been?" she asks as she turns her body to face the latino. Meegs tenses and starts to fidget uncomfortably in his seat.

"I'm good." he mumbles not looking at the young female.

"Sooo ... You found anyone to deal with your whinny clingy ass?"she smirks.

Meegs looks at her in shock and so do Mike and Dez.

"What the actual fuck is wrong with you Rayna! You've become a literal bitch!" Mike shouts in disbelief.

"It's one thing to hurt him twice, but to fucking insult and belittle him for absolutely no reason?" Dez shouts, "That's a whole  other level that I’ll not tolerate." he looks at her in disappointment as he wraps an around Meegs shoulders.

Rayna simply roles her eyes and walks off the bus. Most likely heading towards the Sevendust bus.

After that incident, Rayna continued to pester Meegs. Either by teasing him on stage while she's walking around, or by throwing insults his way in the bus or changing room.

This behavior continued for several days until Meegs finally snapped.

After a show, the band head to their bus.

-insult warning ahead-

"You did ok for a fag." Rayna says over her shoulder to Meegs.

"Would you shut the fuck up!"Meegs glares at the girl. Dez and Mike stop talking between each other at the sound of Meegs' outburst.

"Or what? What are you going to do?" Rayna challenges.

"You know you're a fucking bitch. I don't give a fuck if you screw with that Morgan guy, just leave me the fuck alone!" he looks at her with sad eyes.

"You're a little cry baby bitch Meegs." she looks at him with disgust. "Even your mom said so, you're a disappointment." she points an accusatory finger at the guitarist.

Meegs takes a step back in disbelief, he wraps his arms around him in shame and discomfort.

Dez slams his hands on the small table and glares at Rayna, Mike shakes his head in disappointment, he feels ashamed of his friend and sister's behavior.

"Get the fuck out Rayna. Leave and don't fucking come back. You're off the fucking tours." Dez scowls at the girl who stares at him in disbelief. She looks to Mike for backup but he simply looks away. She huffs and walks out slamming the door behind her.

"I'll leave you with him. Also try to actually make a move for once." Mike whispers to Dez before leaving and closing the bus' door behind him.

Dez approaches Meegs and wraps him in a warm hug.

"Ignore her. Your mom loves you Meegs, she just does not get why you want to play music for a living. She cares for you, your her little Caballero" he whispers to Meegs, "Whatever that means." he mumbles to which Meegs giggles.

"Say what, when we play the show in LA we’ll stop by your mom's house and visit her." Dez looks slightly up at Meegs due to the slight height difference.

"Yeah I’d like that." he smiles sweetly at Dez, "Also, Caballero means Knight" he grins.

Dez smiles and looks longingly at Meegs, he almost looked drunk, even though both boys know for a fact that neither consumed a single drop of alcohol.

"You're beautiful." Dez whispers too afraid to ruin the little moment the two are having. Both stood in the front lounge looking into each other's eyes with love.

"And you're short." Meegs teases to which Dez chuckles and playfully punches him in the arm.

"But I love you Bradley." Meegs whispers as he holds Dez face in his hands.

"I love you too Miguel" Dez whispers back while also holding the latino's face delicately.

The two then kiss each other and the end.
