Another change should be made as well,all disabled individuals, and the elderly covered under medicare should also be covered for all the medications they require and not be abandoned by medicare to cover the cost of new breakthrough medications or expensive medications.

This includes the fact that medicare doesnt cover hardly any alternative therapies, such as herbal,acupuncture,yoga,homeopathic,accupressure,etc. It has been proven that many people who do not get well from conventional treatments have had thier health improve from alternative therapies. For example why do you think they legalized medical marijuana in some cities, because it has been proven to improve health in cancer patients and has been deemed helpful for other ailments as well.Therefore medicare should cover these alternative treatments as well. Lastly,medicare should fully cover eyeglasses,contact lenses,lasik eye surgery,hip replacement surgery,spinal surgery,full dental benefits,and any and all medical equipment that assists the disabled and elderly in a better quality of life.
