How Can Quality And Affordable Transcription Service Boost Your Business?
People who are still ignorant about the importance of Medical dictation services, often ask what is its need in the business? If you too want an answer, keep reading.
The job of professional transcriptionists is not an easy one, they have a huge responsibility to convert the exact audio message into the written format without changing its meaning or missing out on key points. The accuracy of medical reports is critical to both patient follow-up care and medical research. And, medical terminology is often difficult and unfamiliar to a layperson, meaning that transcriptionists require specialised training or experience.
The Features Needed For Good Transcription Service
The quality service of the medical transcription company is very important for doctors and clinics.
For this, the physician should select their outsourcing transcription provider rightly. The right and best medical transcription company should have their own secured server and best-practised technologies to deliver the transcriptions error-free within physicians’ or clinics’ specific turn-around time.
There must be proper types of software to process the transcription jobs. The software used in clinical transcription services must contain several features. These features should be user-friendly as medical professionals could not find more time to train them, this is very important for the day-to-day transcription process.
The cost of the medical transcription service must be very reasonable and affordable for every speciality physician. The affordability of the service shall make it more popular among physicians.
Communication that’s beneficial for medical transcription service companies in Ontario also involves:
Reports of any common issues related to the transcribed data
Prompt responses to any client inquiries or concerns
Alerts or notifications when transcribed data is available
Importance Of Medical Transcription Outsourcing
Today medical transcription outsourcing companies in Canada are gaining importance as they have become ideal for documenting:
Medical history
Administrative reports and results
Discharge summaries
Operative reports and analysis
Medical research interviews
Providing the same level of service while reducing costs means increasing efficiency. A successful administrator is always on the alert for opportunities to improve both time and cost efficiency without diminishing service. While the opportunities for improvement will vary from facility to facility, based on a number of factors, there is one significant cost still shared by most medical facilities: transcription. Accuracy is an important aspect of this field. Hence, a little carelessness can result in fatal outcomes as it will affect the patient’s dosage. It can also hamper the course of treatment. Therefore, transcriptionists have to work with double attention while documenting reports.

B roll - 2020 08 18
18 - I was obsessed with trains when I was young. So much so that for Christmas when I was 12 I begged for a model train set. I got it, too. No one ever commented on it back then, not that I recall.
18 - I wish I had cookies.
18 - Don’t take your recording device into the bathroom with you. We transcriptionists can tell. This also holds for anyone who’s calling any kind of customer service while they’re doing their personal business. We. Can. Tell. You. Rude. Bastard.
18 - I just used the word "grody". The '80s called. It wants is Valley speak back.
18 - Basic income doesn't disincentivise work, it allows people to work better, more effectively.
18 - With a basic income I could go back to school to get the certifications required to expand my transcription work abilities. It would also allow me to volunteer more, which is something I enjoy doing and serves the community.
18 - Why do we continue to demand the most vulnerable live on the least? Food, utilities, clothing, transportation, assistive devices, medications, because ODSP (for example) doesn't cover all needs, and the most impactful is rent. Who can live on that and pay market rent?
18 - I'm a disabled person but it happens I don't need accessible housing. I can live in regular housing without an issue. I have other concerns with housing in Hamilton though that involve location, safety, and quality of life.
18 - My favourite porn is looking at other people's art supplies.
18 - So, while Ontario cuts its $100 pandemic payments to ODSP clients, large chunks of whom never knew it existed nor got it, BC extends its $300 payments until December. Thanks ever so, DoFo.

1 Kings 7:1-51, Acts 7:30-50, Psalms 128:1-6, Proverbs 16:31-33
Today is the 10th day of June. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is great to be here with you as we get our work week started and take the next step forward together as we continue our journey through the Scriptures this year. And we’re working our way through first kings and the reign of Solomon. We’re working our way through the book of Acts and the birth of the church and we’er reading from the English Standard Version this week. Today first Kings chapter 7.
Commentary:
Alright. So, as we’re moving our way through first kings we've seen Solomon build a palace for himself and he had the implements needed for use in the temple fashioned.
And then in Acts we’re continuing to listen. It seems like a sort of long review. And it's really wonderful that it comes at this time of year. What it actually is is the testimony of a deacon, a newly appointed deacon, one of the first deacons in the church named Stephen. He’d been arrested and kind of defamed. And, so, he’s been kind of hauled before the Jewish high Council and he's giving testimony and what he's doing in the process is giving us review but what he's actually doing is proving to the high Council that he is thoroughly Hebrew and thoroughly understands the Hebrew origin story. So, we listened to him talk about Moses today and that was one of the chief accusations against him, that he was defaming or denigrating Moses and blaspheming God.
And then, so we get to the Psalms today and it's this example of how something profound happens when a blessing is spoken over us. This may happen to you in church every week, right? At the end of the service maybe your pastor speaks a benediction, a word of benediction over you, a word of blessing over you. That was true in biblical, right? It carries through, the tradition carries through all the way today. And we can kinda just blow by that like in church, the benediction, if you have that. And you probably have that in some form or another, right? So, if you're in a more traditional church the benediction spoken of you will probably be the same every week, whereas your pastor, no matter what church you’re in probably has a way of closing the service and it may be a word of encouragement or blessing over you. And, so, we can blow-by that, it’s just like a little marker, just a little trigger. Okay, service is over. But words of affirmation spoken over us, like that actually reorients our hearts if we’re paying attention. So, let's just practice that. Slow down a bit. Because now you know, we've already read to the Scriptures and we’re moving toward the end of our time together. And, so, we can kind of just start moving out of this space. Slow down and just allow these words to be spoken over you for your day. “How joyful are those who fear the Lord. All who follow his ways you will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be. Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine flourishing within your home. Your children will be like vigorous young all of trees as they sit around your table. That is the Lord's blessing for those who fear him. May the Lord continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live. May you live to enjoy your grandchildren. May Israel have peace.” See! Right, doesn't that not orient your heart toward God and encourage you for your day? So, words of benediction or affirmation or declaration spoken over us has been a tradition all the way back into biblical times. All we just did was use the Bible to speak those words of affirmation, words that were spoken over people who were coming up to Jerusalem or leaving Jerusalem. So, it's amazing how the Bible can speak such encouragement and life over us if we’re just paying attention. So, remember this blessing as you move forward into your day.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word. We thank You that we’re continuing forward in the story of King Solomon, we’re continuing forward in the testimony of Steven and they all lead somewhere and we’re watching these stories because we find ourselves in these stories. But we thank You for the gift of the Psalm today, Psalm 129, speaking these words of affirmation of blessing over our lives for today. And, so, we receive them. We take them within us and we meditate upon them today. Come Holy Spirit we pray. In Jesus’ name we ask. Amen.

And that is it for today. I'm Brian I love you and I'll be waiting for you here tomorrow.
Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi Daily Audio Bible, this is Rebecca from Michigan, June 6th. You know I just need prayer for my temperament because I almost lost my cool at my job today because of some lady is totally jealous because I have gained Seniority there like 5 ½ years and I’m starting to go somewhere and get opportunities. I always take things that people really don’t want, job opportunities that people don’t want, like trips and stuff and she’s like trying to start stuff with me and my management and why I’m getting all these things but I’m used to just taking things that people aren’t really interested in and that is offered to me in order of seniority, in the order that it comes down to me. So, I feel like I’m being really attacked at my job and I almost lost my cool today with this person and I just want God to heal my temper, show me ways to refrain myself because I know the verse that says, “be still and know I am God”. And I’ve been listening to Daily Audio Bible, I think since November 2011 on and off because I remember Ezekiel being born, that’s how far back. I remember. And this is like the first year I’ve finally been keeping up with you guys. I haven’t had no technical problems or electronic problems or things like that. So, I’ve been pretty much keeping up with you guys and I can see my life really growing spiritually and sometimes I just…I’m amazed at how far God has taken me and I just been believing in him for paying off my bills and being debt-free and decluttering my life because that’s what I’m believing in Him for. Thank you. I love you. Bye.
Hi, this is Rob Whitfield from Ontario Canada. This is my first time calling but I’ve been blessed by Daily Audio Bible for over five years now and I want to thank the Hardin family for this Daily Audio Bible, it means so much to us. I want to just say that I’m calling with a heavy heart. Our son Jamie who is now 32 was diagnosed three years ago, the first time with multiple melanoma, which is usually an older folks type of cancer and it was shocking to our family. He successfully went through all his chemo and two blood stem cell transplants along with a whole lot of other medications and doctor’s appointments, but our hearts are heavy because we just found out last week that it has returned. And we know our God is not mended by time and today he has his first oncology review and I’m praying…I’m asking that the Daily Audio Bible prayer warriors lift him up in prayer. We’re finding it very hard, especially since he is beginning to lose his desire to fight this and that is breaking our hearts. We depend on your prayers and we look forward to giving you good news in the future that the Lord has answered that prayer. Thanks again. Have a good day. Bye-bye.
Hello, DAB my name is Joanna a first-time calling phoning from France. I’ve been listening to your podcast for a few months now, English and in French and find it hugely helpful enriching and soothing, especially where my access to church has been limited for years being housebound by illness. Anyway, last Monday’s episode, June 4, 2019 had a voice message from Jordan of Georgia at about 14 minutes in. I just spent the weekend in some considerable distress about two specific things and what she said on the surface sounded like nonspecific, general, good advice. Those two sentences spoke directly to what had been troubling me. So, I want to thank Jordan for her wisdom and discernment as she listened to God’s prompting. And thank you Lord for caring so much about your family in every corner of the earth. How incredible how the creator of all things using us to encourage one another. A tech savvy God, hey? Jordan mentioned something from her health. Father, envelope her in a warm blanket of peace and rest. Strengthen her in endurance and resilience stemming from you and your living Word. Amen. __may God bless you all love Joanna and France.
Hello, my name’s Ben, a first-time caller from London and I just wanna ask for prayer for a large group of children here in the UK who are currently going through senior school examinations. We call them GCSE’s and A levels. But it’s a tough time for our children and my daughter is one of them. They’ve not been going too well for her and we’ve had a lot of tears and a lot of stress but what’s really lifted my heart is that every night and after every exam she has prayed, she has sat down with friends from church and with us, her family, and prayed to the Lord. She’s returned even though those exams have not gone well. She’s always come back to Him. And after all, that’s the real exam that we all have to pass isn’t it? The exams that we do at school they’re very important and yes, they will affect our lives but ultimately the true test that we have to pass, the only one that we have to pass, is that whatever happens we have to return to the Lord and trust in Him. And that’s really lifted me, that’s really helped me. I’d just like to thank you DAB for being a really big part of my life over the past few years. As I said, first time caller. Thank you DAB, thank you DAB family. God, bless.

That's the most terrifying thing on earth. She was actually unconscious after it happened and was bleeding, and we were worried that she had died.
Leslie Miller's long-haired Chihuahua Aloha is blind in one eye after a brutal attack last month by an off-leash boxer in their local park.
He grabbed her whole head and the vet later said that he was attempting to snap her neck.
And now her almost $3,000 in vet bills are piling up. And lastly, says the other dog has caused problems in the neighborhood before. She wants to hold its owners accountable.
Recent News from Neinstein
We've found about three or four different owners that have had their dogs attacked to have seen her dog be aggressive.
After Aloha's attack, Leslie asked Animal Services to come out here and fill out a report. They said that they would ask the other dog owner to always use a muzzle on their animal. No fines were issued, and no other information was given, citing privacy concerns.
We can't give the name, address, or phone number, no?
That's just terrible. So, they're worried about her making sure it's fair for her when literally I have a dog who's now lost her eye. I have $2,800 in vet bills.
Leslie has hired a lawyer who says she is entitled to compensation through small claims court. We put the question to a personal injury lawyer.
If their dog does go ahead and bite another animal or another person, then they're liable under the law for the actions of their dog. The victim does not have to prove any negligence.
But first, the victim needs to know how to get in touch with the offender. Getting contact information can be tricky and costly. Now, Leslie with legal fees to add to her woes.
It's a Privacy Act. They can go through freedom of information through the city of Toronto and request the information.
Lawyers say the costs involved will differ for every case, and even though fighting for your dog's rights are mired in red tape, the success rate is high.
It just seems fair that the dog that was attacked would have more of the rights, and it just doesn't seem like it's that way right now.
Toronto Animal Services says that you can get in touch with them by calling 311 if your dog has ever attacked, or go onto their website for a whole list of bylaws and more information about what you're entitled to for the dog owner.

How Does Technology Advance Medical Transcription Services
Medical transcription services Ontario have already reached their pinnacle of achievement. And technology just serves to strengthen it. Learn how by reading this article.
The days of handwritten medical notes won't last for very long as medical practise adopts more Electronic Health Records (EHR) and health institutions move toward digitization. The healthcare industry becomes more efficient when AI is added to transcriptions.
Because medical transcription service in ontario typically spends 6 hours creating medical records, AI speeds up transcription. And let's face it, mistakes involving humans are inevitable, whereas we can all agree that mistakes involving AI will be less common.
Medical transcription service in edmonton: How to incorporate technology?
1. Paperwork Says Goodbye To The Internet
Since the invention of the personal computer in the 1980s, the game has seen a radical transformation. Its main goal was to get medical transcription companies to stop using paper. As a result, transcriptionists no longer spend reams of paper trying to edit a single word or add a paragraph from a typed note. They only need to review and type the doctor's dictations into the word processing programme. They either print it out or later store it electronically.
2. There is always access to transcription
The Internet has affected productivity in medical transcription service in alberta in two main ways. Simple online uploading is an option. Additionally, the transcription expert can download it from any location with an Internet connection, translate it, and then submit it again.
Simply said, this capability frees the transcriptionist from confinement to the clinic's perimeter. The second change in productivity is simply accelerated by the ability to access clinicians' records from any location.
3. The game is still changing thanks to EMR and speech recognition
Software that supports speech recognition, commonly referred to as voice to text, enables physicians to directly dictate their observations. Additionally, this software aids in the conversion of dictations into text for medical transcription companies in Ontario. Medical staff is no longer need to wait for medical transcriptionists to deliver the file.
4. EMR Supports Doctors' Record-Keeping
Electronic medical records (EMR) were first introduced in 2015. It was hoped that by streamlining patient notes, these systems would increase productivity in the healthcare industry. Additionally, it was intended to make everything available to both medical professionals and patients.
Electronic medical records, also known as EMRs or EHRs, optimise an organised data design.
All that information is on our website, https://neinstein.ca/. At the East small animal shelter in Saphia Khambalia.

One of the stats I mentioned earlier in the show was that a traumatic brain injury is the leading killer and disabler of Canadians under the age of 40. And the statistics go on and on about a brain injury. And how it affects the lives of Canadians and Torontonians, of course.
So we've got a great event coming up. We're going to tell you about how these support people with brain injuries of the committee member from BIST/OBIA Mix & Mingle - Ruth Fernandez and the chair of the BIST/OBIA charity event, Greg Neinstein. Good to have you both here.
Thanks for having us here this morning.
Thanks for having us
This is the Brain Injury Society of Toronto. Is that right? And the other one is the Ontario Brain Injury Association.
What is the best?
Well, this is the local chapter of the Ontario Brain Injury Association. So, there were several chapters, 26 chapters all across Ontario, and the Toronto chapter. And these chapters are aimed at helping survivors of brain injuries. Find peer support groups, resources, and help them get integrated back into the community after they've received a head injury.
And we are, that was just one statistic I gave. The numbers on brain injuries are shocking, right?
18,000 Ontarians will suffer a brain injury.
And that means, you know, in one year, every hour six Canadians are afflicted with a brain injury. And those stats are quite high when you consider all diseases in all sorts of fields. It happens to, you know, people that we know. One in 10 people that you know will suffer a brain injury this year. So it's quiet, it's a big, huge problem in our society.
And for kids, especially. Right?
It's so important that they wear a helmet when they're practicing sports and that they're taking all precautions to be safe.
So one of the things that this OBIA does is help with awareness because there is not enough awareness. And unfortunately, this is, in OBIA, they'd just been started in the last 10-15 years. And it's probably shocked when you hear the numbers in the lack of information people have about head injuries considering all the other amazing fundraisers that we see across Ontario. And when you see the numbers of head injuries, it's shocking that there is not much awareness about this disease.
A head injury can be so debilitating, and it could affect you for the rest of your life.
And it often does. It often does. You know, usually, patients will present with communication disabilities. And you know, it's always, it's not always very clear if you have a brain injury, so.
Right. You break an arm, it's clear. It's easy to see.
Exactly.
But some might be stumbling with their words. You might, and you don't do it together.
Yeah, you don't often pick up on that unless you know the person for a long time. And you sort of should watch out for mood swings, and you know, maybe they're not communicating properly. And things that you didn't bother them before, sort of irritating to them now. So those are all sorts of things that you know, people might look out for.
And what about children? If your child falls off the bike, they brush themselves off, the crying stops. You think everything's fine, what should we be looking out for?
It's so difficult to identify brain injuries, especially in children, because they're not able to articulate what they're feeling. So would finding problems with sleeping, problems with, being able to eat, an appetite. It's so difficult -- that I don't think there's any harm in finding early on in seeking medical attention regarding it, just in case. Just, in case.
Cause the downside is huge and people with brain injuries, it usually takes a, within the first year is the most productive in getting rehabilitation. So if you don't identify this within the first year, you're losing out an ability for your brain, which is a muscle to start rehabilitating itself.
Right.
Really. So the brain is capable of regenerating some of those injured areas.
Absolutely.
Absolutely. You know, I was just at a talk with Dr. Tatter. And he says automatically if you know your child has had a concussion or he's hit his head, we absolutely know for sure, as the fact that it is a brain injury. So, you know, if you knock your head, you know, don't just disregard it. You know, look into it a little bit more further and see if there's a way to start rehabilitating.
Are we will set up here in Toronto for rehabilitation services?
There's a lot of resources, but there's a lot of people liking identified, and even the resources we do have are also limited. So the biggest thing about OBIA/BIST is the fact that our OHIP system is great. People do have access to get assistance. The problem is, once you finish that maximum medical recovery, and you're done with your OT, your occupational therapists, or physiotherapists, or your speech therapist, you go back into the community. And now, how'd you get integrated? How do people identify you with a brain injury? Because it's really the hidden disease. Because you can walk into a room, and no one sees that you have an injury. You could see someone that has paraplegia, you could see an amputee, but it's very difficult for people to relate and understand how to respond to someone with a head injury.
Getting back into work, all of those challenges. So we've got this terrific event. Actually, the whole month of June has been set aside as brain injury awareness, which is great. So what are some of the things coming up?
Yeah, so we've been working on the Mix and Mingle, which is an event that OBIA/BIST has co-produced in the last seven years. Greg Neinstein has been the chair of the event for the last three years. And you know, we bring out people from the health care industry and care service providers that, they're there to mingle and exchange ideas and find ways to collaborate and create awareness about this really important issue.
Right. So one of them, of course, is June 14.
So we have a great event, June 14th. It's at a steam whistle brewery, which is a fantastic venue. And we have some great live music. A Soul Stew which is a long time Toronto jazz band, can be playing. We've already raised before the event, $100,000, which is fantastic.
That's simply from ticket sales and sponsorships. And we hope to continue to increase awareness and provide assistance to survivors of brain injuries.
So we can get tickets for that online, right at your website.
Yeah. You definitely visit our website. The event is over 90% sold, but there are still some tickets available. So we encourage the viewers to join us that evening, and there's going to be great food. We also have amazing oysters, which is sort of a symbol for the brain. And you know, it's a topic that we're sort of talking about and great food, great music.
It's a great term. Our goal is just to thank everyone who's involved in the community, survivors, people that work in the community. And just have a great opportunity to network and have a fantastic event.
After that on June 20th, big event at Nathan Phillips Square, right?
Right. Every year, there is an event — Nathan Phillips Square during the day for Brain Injury Awareness Week. There'll be speakers there. I think Ben Mulroney will be speaking this year and talking about Brain Injury Awareness. And that's the biggest thing that we are really striving to achieve is to help people understand how prominent this problem is in our society.
Not genetically related, you know, this just happens to, right.
It can happen to anyone, at any one given moment. You know.
One in 26 Canadians suffers some type of brain injury. And I don't think anyone appreciates the volume of that.
Does either of you have a personal connection to someone with brain injury?
Well, I assist people with brain injuries all the time. So, I'm a Personal Injury Lawyer, and what I really do is I'm a Crisis Manager. And I helping manage people once they do have an injury, where's the guidebook and what to do. So I assist people in finding rehabilitation options, vocational options, all types of support in order to get back into some sort of meaningful day event.
One of the things that, you know, the event will fund after it's over is a guidebook business. You know, producing a guidebook for people with brain injuries, and to help them navigate the world's post, you know, a head injury because it's a whole different world.
Your website is fantastic. So go to the website and get lots of information there. Plus, your tickets to the Mix and Mingle, bist.ca. And now here's Maya with your community events. Great information. Thank you.

All that information is on our website, https://neinstein.ca/. At the East small animal shelter in Saphia Khambalia.
