Campaign close to completion!

Imagine trying to sleep, while being forced to listen to a loud, unavoidable noise. A noise that heralds danger, a danger that has already hurt someone you care about. A danger you can do nothing to protect yourself and your love ones from. This is what Mohammed Iwais has to go through every night.

Mohammed Iwais @mohdiwais has spent months trying to raise money so he and his family in Gaza may evacuate to safety. Now, he is struggling to gain connection to the internet, making this goal even harder for him.

Without a good internet connection, he struggles to keep in contact with people through Tumblr, or to make posts to raise funds for his campaign.

On top of all this, Mohammed has to deal with the constant sound of quadcopters nearby him. This sound is an extremely loud droning noise, which causes fear and stress, and makes any kind of sleep or rest extremely difficult. One of Mohammed's sisters was hit by a quadcopter bullet several months ago, and is struggling to heal while being trapped in Gaza without proper medical treatment.

Right now, the Iwais family's campaign is close to completion. They only need ~ $3.1k USD to reach their goal. However, this certainly doesn't mean that it is acceptable for you to stop caring, or for donations to slow down. Mohammed and his family need your help to be able to evacuate!

Lieutenant Deets and Medic Duo

And finally the aloof lt and dr chaos. Completing the char sheets for the 343rd. As always, text is below c: 👇

Lieutenant Deets

CT-3335 - Previously known to her batchmates as Koor or Koor 33. Koor which is Mando'a for Deal, was the name that she and her batchmates gave each other to distinguish themselves as a unit and as a promise to one another to stay alive. Unfortunately, that promise would be broken as each member of Koor squad died. So she changed her name to be that which everyone else called her. Three-Three and then later DT when she made a self deprecating joke about how she was a defective clone, (a to be decommissioning clone, DT-3335) It stuck, and later evolved into Deets when she joined the 343rd and her ability to relay a wide variety of detail for missions and about drama about the base.

Krells ship isn't a place that nurtured kindness or kept those that didn’t pay attention to the little things. It’s not that any clone was complacent but it’s a different kind of twist on the mind when you’re made to feel observed, to constantly think that little bit further than the terror in front of you. Deets initially as she worked for intelligence and supplied crucial intel while she worked under Pong Krell. She would specialise in field work, setting up temporary HQs and intel points on hostile planets. That is until she fell victim to a clanker airdrop, where a battalion of B2s found the camp and laid waste. Severely injuring them all and killing two. She claims that’s the day 33 died. Half a b2 was still active and shot her in the groin for starters, would have killed her if back up hadn't shown up and she'd had a blood transfusion in the LA-AT.

She finds though that, she doesn't mind so much. Okay, so her testosterone plumates to zero and its bad for a time being, she loses a lot of weight and muscle mass as the medics try to solve one problem after the other. It’s after an undetermined amount of time she's lucid enough to wake up. Sometimes though, she wishes she hadn’t. It turns out she wasn't saved by back up. They were bate. And the clones that survived? abandoned to die, bar from two. Deets was saved because she discovered further information on the whereabouts of a drone factory and they were attacked before she could disclose what she learnt. The other clone rescued was used to keep her alive.

It’s almost out of her control, she gives the information without even fighting, choked by guilt and shame to have been the one spared for noticing a small detail. The medic onboard takes pity on her and gets her back in one piece, or whats left of her. What follows are as a result of the worst cycle of her short and sad life. The drop in T is noticeable, and she's not mad about it, she keeps up with the standard fitness expected by all clones once her levels are fixed. Starts looking more feminine. Its nice in her opinion, she like the way she looks. Leans into it. Until what few forces left under Krells command after his wickedness had been revealed are cleaned up. Quietly existing in surveillance, the medics of their battalion have been covering for her, clearing her for action but not putting her on the field. She doesn’t know who did it, but when she’s alerted that she will be decommissioned, she finds herself not back on Kamino but on Naboo.

Bonus: Deets is Ace, low testosterone will do that to you. She's not really titillated by anything anymore. But she does like Kiss, more than she’s like anyone since her batchmates. Her and kiss grow close and have a fledgling relationship where Deets is only soft and herself with Kiss. And Kiss is tender and heartfelt with her. They are, in their own ways, the moms of their company.

Bonus 2: DT is a sheltered character, quiet and observant, tending towards the depressive disastrasiation, morbid assumptions and dry humour to pad her sharp edges. It’s why she gets on best with Jaig who is also depressed and bitter. Her armour seeks to embrace her shape. The shoulder pads were originally equipped to make her shoulders seem broader than they were. But now its a sign of her experience and expertise. She has a b2 on hr left thigh as a joke, but also as a reminder that if it hadn’t hit her other leg she wouldn’t be who she is today.

Medic Duo

aka Dr Do-over, dudu one time Ro was sky high on painkillers. The twins were in stitches literally and figuratively.

Duo is the 343rd CMO, or just their medic as the 343rd are such a small unit his only other medical support is Pax. Who they call Nurse, affectionately. They're a soft touch under cover of a mad scientist telling her vode all the details of how badly they kriffed up. Saying things like:

I had a twin in the tube and i ate them / I had tea with the Chancellor after my heroic efforts on Geonosis / i'm the closest clone to Prime

mainly things that cant be proven or disproven but they are normally saved for shinies and younger clones that won't question the validity of these claims. And more importantly to distract from whatever they are going through. But it's more an example of how hairbrained they are in regard to their methods of getting the troops what they need. And he will get them whatever they need so long as it keeps them sane and healthy.

Despite gratuitous explanations on what happens to a liver with extended access to engineerings supernova moonshine, thats all she cares about, seeing them all through to the end. Duo, Kiss and Ro have known each other the longest. Duo is the reason why Kiss was able to keep Mooch as her service dog. The reason Ro has all her limbs, and why Jaig is able to get replacement optics when the cheap cybernetics they send give out.

Most important Duo is the reason why most of the trans clones were able to transition. Starting with Kiss. Kiss plays it down, but Duo will tell anyone trying to hide their pain how miserable she had been before, how all she talked about was ancient Nabooen culture. Duo doesn't tell them how reluctant she would be to attend physicals, or the little ways that went unnoticed by untrained eyes that she would neglect her health. Similar to Ro when she joined them. Choosing self flagellation over the admittance of unseen pain. So they took it upon themselves to provide Kiss with options. Then Ro and by the time Deets came alone toward the end of the war he was already equipped to deal with her baggage with tall tails and prescription should the patient require further medical support.

bonus: Duo, Lash and Leki were delighted to meet one another. They are the powerhouse of the trans collection they have going on at the 343rd, Lash is their researcher, Leki the supplier and Duo the mastermind and manipulator of GAR funds.

bonus2: Duo is gender fluid. A fact that only became apparent after Kiss transitioned. Their gender fluxuates, and Duo like the check in it allows with oneself when assessing where they are at on a given day. Duo also particularly like making strangers squirm when they says today it's she/them and what them puzzle over what today means.

Still, though, he sends the drones out, pulls a handful of Serpents from over where they're hovering around ACE Chemicals, and frowns.

"Bastard's taken out a lot of my cameras," he says. "You want to try and repair anything?"

There's a long, considering silence.

"No," Antoine says at last. "We don't have the time or the manpower. Look, we give it another two hours unless shit hits the fan."

"Thought Scarecrow was in charge?"

"Boss had a contingency. If we don't find him, we--motherfucker!"

Jimmy's first, panicked, thought is that Batman got him. But no, Antoine keeps going, and he doesn't sound broken, just pissed off.

"Where the hell have you been--told you that was goddamn stupid--I did not plan on having to initiate the damn Komodo Protocol--"

Komodo? Jimmy's seen that mentioned, in files, but nothing concrete. He's not actually sure what it is, which is annoying, but for all his digging, it hasn't come up.

"Drouot," The Knight's voice cuts in. Antoine shuts up. "Listen up, all of you. The Batman is on his way. Slow him down to the best of your ability. Scarecrow unit, get him out of here, now. If he fusses, patch him through to me. Knight out."

you saw it on your calendar, starring at you in the face. Keep Rose awake for 12 full hours before the appointment.

You told Ethan right before, who was sitting with her on the couch. He gave you a numb look, thinking, pursing his lips. You had been taking shifts with watching her while you were both asleep

but a full 12 hours seemed annoyingly impossible. Maybe if you could just do the most then it wouldn't really matter!

Ethan suggested taking shifts just like you do at night. That way, one of you could get a mental break

He did not think about how much mental strain it would be to do it alone. Always watching her. Eyes on her the whole time

After his first half hour of his shift he decided that was dumb and went to grab you from upstairs

Cue the insanity

For a while it's okay. She stays awake anyway, it didn't really matter. You set a timer on your phone so that you were keeping track of everything. She played with her toys on the ground, ate dinner with you guys, pretended to watch a movie

You tried to get her to walk around but she just kinda wriggled

Spending time with Rose was not weird to either of you, so it started fine. you and ethan just kind of watched her and hung out with her.

Then it started to get darker and Ethan started to set his head on your shoulder and the movie got quieter. Rose naturally started to get sleepy.

"We should've gotten more coffee," Ethan muttered. He was looking in the kitchen cupboards. You sat with Rose, holding her up on your lap. She was so much to watch when she was awake.

"I went shopping last week," you said. He shook his head.

"It's not enough." He turned back to you as he poured water down the coffee pot. "It's gonna have to be strong if we stand a chance."

"The appointment's at 7 in the morning Ethan. I think we'll be okay." He narrowed his eyes at you. You half smiled, already starting to get sleepy.

"We can give her a bath," you suggested. "It'll keep her awake for a while."

"She does like playing in the bath," he muttered. "Do you want one?" You nodded, gesturing for him to bring it towards you. He nodded, waiting for it to be finish.

"We keep the house cold. Come Ethan. It'll be funny."

As the hours droned on it started to become dumb. At like midnight, both of you just wanted to reschedule it completely but knew you couldn't put it off for long. She was only six months for a single month.

You turned on the AC. It was freezing. Both you and Ethan were practically shivering, trying to stay awake. You jokingly tried to give Rose a sip of coffee (which Ethan swatted out of your hands)

You put her in a different outfit to pretend it was a new day. She continued to be confused

You gave her a bath, which killed like an hour more or less.

But she was slowly starting to become harder to keep awake. At closer to 5, only a couple more hours to go, it was nearly impossible. One of you had to be holding her standing up, watching her eyes, just to make sure they were open.

"We should've taken shifts," you muttered, laying on the couch. Ethan yawned. He was still wearing his pajama sweats and tshirt, tricking your mind into thinking you should be climbing into bed.

"You would've gone insane," he commented. You groaned.

"Me?"

"Yes. You." You rolled your eyes and sat up. Your limbs were so heavy.

"We could leave at 6."

"One of us has to keep her awake in the backseat."

"I call driving."

needless to say, it was the soundest all three of you slept when you got home. Rose was fine by the way. It eased both of your nerves to know.

so it looks like hypnosis can be a productivity/motivation boost? i'm kinda interested in that, but i've no desire in doing the sexual aspect of it (bc ace); do you think it could still work with these stipulations? -öé

Absolutely, but there are a few things to understand. The biggest is that hypnosis is not exactly a science. What works for you is going to be different from what works for me. It's seriously also not a substitute for any sort of medical help, physical or mental. It is a supplement at best. For me, it can get me past the last speed bump, so to speak, to be able to concentrate better or overcome executive dysfunction.

Also, you are almost certainly going to need a trusted partner willing to do this with you. Its possible to hypnotize yourself or use resources that don't involve anyone else, but it isn't easy or as effective. It doesn't need to be one way, by the way, you could trade off hypnotizing each other, so that does help.

Also, being hypnotized and allowing this sort of suggestion to influence you is a learned skill, and though you can see some effect early on and those effects can be dramatic, shaping your triggers and suggestions to what you really want them to be with the effectiveness you want will take many, many hours of work and practice from both the subject and the hypnotist. The ease at which I can switch into different modes to overcome things like executive dysfunction took a long time to learn

That all said, there is no reason it couldn't work. Hypnotism is not inherently sexual, sex is just a very powerful motivator to do that necessary work, and unless you are a hypnofetishist there are very few people willing to do something this weird.

Its like, the experience of pretending to be a puppy, kitten, or similar is fun and cathartic. But very few people do it because it is "weird". It's pretty much just fetishists, little children, and furries - all groups who tend to ignore the mainstream sensibilities on what is weird, cringy, or even deviant behavior when deciding what they want to do. That's where you need to be if you want to get into hypnosis. Maybe your reason for breaking away from standard accepted behavior and motivation to continue sinking effort into that isn't sex, but you'll probably need a reason beyond the eventual hope that it might help you deal with executive dysfunction better.

Basically, if you want to do this, you are going to have to learn to have fun with it, or at least get something else out of it that makes you excited to do it. And there are plenty of non sexual reasons! I mean, the utter relaxation of a trance is worth it alone in my opinion. The enhancement to non sexual petplay could be another motivator, honestly pet play (even without sex) is something everyone should try once just to see if they like it.

Now, using hyposis in a practical sense is a bit more involved. I'll break down how it has worked for me, including for writing this week. In this case, I overcome executive dysfunction and anxiety difficulties by using a dronfication command then receiving orders from an outside source. As a drone I don't stop thinking necessarily, but I have very little impulse to think or do anything of my own will. I've happily sat staring at a wall for 15 minutes in something like a standby mode, waiting for more input, or repeating an assigned phrase over and over and over.

If the drone mode is working right, and it doesn't always work right, the dronification command allows me to feel as if I am a tool being used by others, decoupling the connection between my own motivation and decision making process and what I think and do, instead handing it to someone else, externalizing most sense of decision making and motivation. In essence, the suggestion is I become a robot who does nothing but obeying commands, and is incapable of doing much without those commands. I do and think what I am told, nothing more, nothing less - if I start acting autonomously, the suggestion starts to break.

Fortunately, I have a great deal of leeway in how I perform a task, because I am a thinking robot. I am ordered to write, I will write. But I will also go get water to make sure I am hydrated, I will go to the bathroom, I will make sure I get snacks as needed, because all those things are helpful to writing. However, at the end of my task I tend to just stop. If the suggestion is still in strong enough force, I will not choose a new task or activity of my own volition. I am good at breaking out of the suggestion as needed, but I might end up staring at a wall for ten minutes before I realize "hey, I should probably stop being a drone". There are solutions to this end point problem of course, like leaving behind an exit trigger for me to find once I am done with my task.

So you can see how if you are not into the idea of dronification, it might be hard to implement a dronification mode because your mind will fight it, not embrace it. You will need to find the imagery and methodology that works for you to achieve the effects you want, and find a motivation to do it. You are not just going to have to be ok with cringe and weird, you are going to have to embrace it and make it part of you. I strongly suggest (sexual or non sexual) pet play and/or becoming a furry as onboarding because they complement hypnosis so well. They feed back on each other and strengthen each other very well. Pretending to be a puppy is fun, but when you feel compelled to bark instead of speak, your mind is clouded except excitably puppy thoughts, and it feels more right to crawl on all fours instead of walk it is a completely different experience.

Now, as far as non sexual hypnosis resources, I haven't a clue. I am firmly in this for sexual reasons, the other benefits are side benefits. And even then I barely scratched the surface in terms of how to learn to do this stuff, I was basically trained by Raven and I have no real idea where she got her ideas and knowledge. All my knowledge is from her, and while I have some experience as a hypnotist I've never started with a rookie subject. I'm happy to explain more about my own development in hypnosis if you think that might help.

SCP#: AHX

Code Name: The Unknown Tree

Object Class: Euclid Keter/Unknown

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AHX is to be observed for now as it is no apparent threat to the normalcy of the world given its location within SCP-ACS. No perimeter fence or defensive measures are to be taken as living organisms within SCP-ACS actively avoid going near SCP-AHX. Furthermore, to date no living organism has come out of SCP-AHX. Unfortunately, the Foundation currently knows nothing until it can be observed more closely though this has been theorized by the Ethics Committee to be a very bad idea. 

Update 1 Month Later - SCP-AHX has been destroyed and several Titan sized anomalies have been released as a result. These entities will be called SCP-AHX until such time as a connection between the two has been disproven. Until they can be contained all efforts will be directed into finding and understanding the anomalies. 

Description: SCP-AHX is a tree that is located within SCP-ACS at [data expunged] coordinates, it was discovered in 2009. For whatever reason, there is no life around SCP-ACS and nothing that is alive goes anywhere near SCP-ACS. It’s been recorded by Foundation, EWM, and GOC researchers that Species of Interest: The Titans actively avoid the tree almost as if something is hazardous regarding the tree.

Recently an opening has been found within the tree though it appears this area in particular is what most living organisms within SCP-ACS actively avoid. Due to the possibility of a highly hazardous anomalous item residing within SCP-AHX, the Ethics Committee and the O5 Council have proposed sending an expedition team to find the reasoning for the strange behavior of The Titans and if necessary, destroy it.

Update 1 Month Later - The expedition team has been approved and consists of 3 researchers, 5 security units, and 7 D-Class. They are to find anything of value within the tree but prioritize documentation and recording only, no retrieval of anomalous items or organisms until the anomaly is fully understood. The D-Class are to be used as meat shields or diversions depending on the threat present. 

Update 1 Day Later - SCP-AHX was suddenly destroyed, all communication with the expedition team had ceased and was unable to be re-established. Foundation drones were sent to quickly establish a situation report. 

Update 2 Days Later - The drones arrived at SCP-AHX with exceptional speed, they found nothing but a large crater and what looked to be large handprints and footprints on the ground as well as smudges of blood. One of the drones also noticed what looked to be a torn-up researcher coat located where one of the footprints were but the drones were destroyed before they could record more data. It is unknown what destroyed the drones though it appeared to be a tentacle of some kind.

Update 1 Month Later - Mobile Task Force Hera-8 “The Shepherds” were observing what looked to be dinosaurs like Titan’s that greatly resemble prehistoric dinosaurs. However, communication between them and command was quickly disrupted when their mission was just about over. Contact was only established 3 hours later, of the 12 units within the research and defense MTF, there was only one survivor. Mobile Task Force Apollo-8 “The Retrieval Boat” was sent and found the survivor though when they went to the area of where MTF Hera-8 lost contact, they reported large footprints and scratch marks on the dirt. Though they didn’t seem to lead anywhere so what caused them is unknown.

Once the survivor was brought back to the nearest Foundation Area within SCP-ACS he was clearly suffering from massive PTSD to the point that his common PTSD prevention medication wasn’t working. When questioned he was too scared and jittery to say anything, all he could do was draw a single picture.

There has yet to be any sighting of a humanoid Titan besides SCP-ACN-Alpha, though not once has the Foundation, the Global Occult Coalition, or any organization that has access to SCP-ACS seen anything that remotely looks like the entity in the drawing. Unfortunately though SCP-ACS is vast it is cramped and allows no way for satellites to be deployed for long range scans. This new entity has taken the identification of SCP-AHX until it can be found, studied further, and it's true nature can be determined. The reasoning this has been done is that a majority of the Administrative staff don’t think its a coincidence that the original SCP-AHX instance was destroyed and only a few days after these strange entities shows up and have been causing chaos since.

Sidenote: The MTF unit was returned to his family and given a vacation of 6 months along with mandatory therapy sessions and medication before he can be an MTF unit again. 

Update 1 Week Later - The [data expunged] area of SCP-ACS was found to have been wiped out. For those that don’t know this area was often restricted as it is covered with SCP-ANE infection and therefore was filled with SCP-AMZ instances. But now the area was barren, filled with SCP-AMZ limbs and body parts torn apart and seemingly bitten by large entities. It’s unknown where these entities went as the footprints they left behind don’t lead anywhere but instead go in circles, similar to the previous two incidents. 

Update 2 Weeks Later - Foundation Area-D62 was destroyed. This was a Area was devoted entirely to research and allowing families to live together comfortably with the best comfort and defense against Titans. All defenses were destroyed and of the 237 residences there were only 12 survivors. All survivors were critically injured and sent to the closest Medical Foundation Area to be treated, though by the time help was received about 7 of the survivors had already died. Of the five remaining survivors only one was capable of communication, a six year old girl who was daughter to one of the dead researchers. She could only communicate through pen and paper so the interview progressed by said method, please see Addendum X-57

The following is a written transcript of the interview between Dr. Talic and Lily, one of the survivors of the destruction of Foundation Area-D62. She is still far too scared to speak but after being given a day to calm down and doing calming mental exercises Dr. Talic says she’s ready to interview with pen and paper. Dr. Talic will do the talking while the images Lily draws will be displayed in response.

Dr. Talic: That’s Gran’, you’ve been practicing dohs exercises, roi?

Lily: (Lilly giggles a little then writes again)

Dr. Talic: Gran’, gran’, cause I want you to keep dem in mind cause the-day we’re going to blather about the brutal day.

Lily: (Lily remains silent for a moment, seemingly about to hyperventilate, but then she calms down and writes again)

Dr. Talic: Atta lassy, so what ‘appened at the beginnin’ av de day.

Lily:

Dr. Talic: I see, everything was normal then?

Lily:

Dr. Talic: … How long did dis continue?

Lily:

Dr. Talic: Ye see anythin'?

Lily:

Dr. Talic: but?

Lily: (Lily remains silent for a moment, Dr Talic notes that she trembles for a short moment possibly due to trauma. She didn't calm down even after she started writing again)

(Before Dr. Talic could ask Lily took the rest of the paper sheets and started drawing on them furiously. However, after some failed attempts she started to breath slowly and then finally drew three pictures with captions.)

Dr. Talic: what chucker yer mean weird?

Lily:

Lily:

Dr. Talic: Soon me flower, let’s just focus on gettin’ yer al’ better now, gran’?

Lily: (Lilly smiled and nodded, a security unit then escorted her out of the room)

Because of the last drawing Lily drew Dr. Talic believes that the SCP-AHX instances are shapeshifters of some kind and it’s why we can’t find them until they strike. The fact that we still have yet to map out the rest of SCP-ACS has unfortunately made them only harder to find. Foundation aircrafts and drones have been sent on expedition to new areas in hopes of accelerating the search for SCP-AHX. Mobile Task Force Hermes-10 “Map to Cronus” is heading the main expedition to find SCP-AHX while armed with anti-titan weaponry in case they run into SCP-AHX.

Update 1 Week Later - all expedition teams in [data expunged] area have been suddenly whipped out; images are blurry but seem to show a giant humanoid titan destroying them. MTF Hermes 10 and Mobile Task Force Ares-7 “Heavy Metal” are to converge on the area for possible SCP-AHX presence. 

Update 1 Hour Later - [Data expunged]

Update 3 Hours Later - The O5 Council and the Ethics Committee agree on [Data Expunged by Order of the O5 Council]

Update 3 Days later - SCP-ABQ and SCP-AEH found the SCP-AHX instances and attacked them.

Update 3 Days Later - SCP-ABQ and SCP-AEH are victorious; the SCP-AHX instances are too weak to continue and are forced to return to human form. Foundation drones quickly intercept them sedate them and retrieve the bodies. 

Update 1 Week Later - SCP-AHX has finally been contained.
