mat spends half of the entire series on roadtrips with or for the purpose of aiding/rescuing rand, elayne, aviendha, or some combination thereof, and by the end of ACOS he is dating both rand and elayne and has exchanged "protect our beloveds on my behalf when i'm not around" promises with aviendha, and rj has the audacity to tell me that MIN is the fourth member of this polycule. ain't no way!!!

i remember going into the books already ready to be pro-mat-in-the-polycule-no-matter-how-much-i-have-to-force-it because i already shipped cauthor from the show, but then i gradually reached elayne and aviendha's arrivals and mat's interactions with them etc and went "holy fuck mat in the polycule is actually INCREDIBLY well-supported by the text" like you really don't have to do any mental gymnastics at all to get him in there, he slots in so perfectly and he's narratively tied up with ALL of the other members, not just rand. and i will never stop chewing rocks over how easy it would've been to make it happen!!

Well then it’s been a while since I’m doing this on tumblr. Let me tell you something before you pull this card. As someone who like kdrama thanks to Crash Landing on You and have been shipping and stanning both Hyun Bin and Son Yejin, do you even have any idea how cruel Song Hye Kyo fans are.

I bet you follow this sort of news. Do you know why there was a rumor in 2020 that Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo reconcile during the high of CLOY success? It’s because the dearest actress suddenly out of nowhere reposted and liked posts from her drama with Hyun Bin when they dated each other over a decade ago. You probably would argue we overthink and judging everything she does but oh dear tell that to her fans, she sparked the rumor from weibo where her fans gladly ate it and very unapologetic about it. She could’ve released a public statement like usually k celeb would do when there is a rumor but nope she gotta wait till Hyun Bin’s agency themselves release the statement stating the news heavily affected his family negatively, but at that time it was too late. Her fans until today attacked Son Yejin on social media regularly. Calling Son Yejin lesbian (no disrespect to LGBT community here but them saying this means an insult since being LGBT is still something degrading in many conservative asian culture) based on interview many years ago saying she’d love to play LGBT character since it would be very challenging. After they got married the narrative shifted to Hyun Bin is just the beard, they only marry for the clout. Also love to show her R rated scenes from her movies while calling her a whore while she’s only doing her job as an actress. They’re doing this insult also to Katy Saunders.

And after it was revealed Hyun Bin was trully dating Son Yejin all those time, they are the very same people who said Hyun Bin is manipulative. Manipulative what? He never say anything about dating Song Hye Kyo again. He is a coward?? Because he no longer date Song Hye Kyo? What kind of mental gymnastic is that?

They’re not also doing this because Song Joongki divorced Song Hye Kyo, their fans have been doing this for a long long time. You can ask the long time fans of Ha Ji Won, Moon Chae Won, Jeon Yeo Been. How come Song Hye Kyo got attacked where she herself and her fans always make everything is about Song Hye Kyo?

Hyun Bin dated Kang Sora (oh, must be because Song Hye Kyo marrying Song Joongki).

Lee Byung Hun cheated on Lee Min Jung (He’s despicable man and I’m glad this man no longer with Song Hye Kyo). Since Lee Min Jung is one of the closest Son Ye Jin’s friend, I know that whatever goes on behind the scene, her marriage is currently doing really great for now. So yes, despicable man.

Song Joong Ki divorced Song Hye Kyo (Song Joong Ki is a terrible man to do this to her. He must’ve married her only for popularity). Meanwhile, during months leading to that divorce news he was spotted look so thin and even losing hair that SHK fans called him bald chicken. SHK went to fashion show after fashion show. Where was she when she got the divorce letter? On her way to fashion show.

Hyun Bin dated Son Ye Jin (It’s only because CLOY popularity, I’m sure he dates SHK).

Hyun Bin married Son Ye Jin (Song Hye Kyo should get married too. Also, Son Ye Jin is too old to have a baby). And then proceed to posting lots of manip pics of SHK with other actors such as Lee Min Ho. Poor actor doesn’t even do anything.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin had a baby ((SHK fans wishing her miscarriage)). If you don’t believe me, ask Binjin fans on twitter.

Song Joong Ki dated Katy Saunders (Katy Saunders is a widow with 2 kids, news that greeted happily by SHK fans). It’s too much that Italian fans come forward saying she never marry anyone much less having kids.

Song Joong Ki date, marry, having a baby with Katy Saunders (He must be doing that to eclipse The Glory popularity). Excuse me? Wake up!! It’s his life which no longer have anything to do with hers anymore. If he waits until The Glory is long over which probably when the baby already born I’m sure SHK fans would come out with another insult like he ashame of his wife and baby maybe, which they also often made up with Hyun Bin.

I feel like the popularity curse of these famous actors is that they date Song Hye Kyo at some point in their career 😂 they can just never escape.

So you see, on behalf of one of a fan constantly insulted by SHK fans, this is how you got yourself a hater. I know korean culture look downward at a woman especially a divorced woman. Maybe it’s the media you should be angry at. But you guys eat media exposure like it’s the best thing ever happen to SHK. K celeb news tend to be easily shifted by fans opinion and lo and behold this kind of exposure is exactly what SHK and her fans want. If they don’t care then why every little thing has to be connected to SHK? For sure, so she could still get a job.

Also, I could also come up with my own theory about the Songsong couple divorce but maybe next time.

I usually don't comment on celebrities' personal lives as firstly, it's none of my business and secondly, we can never know entirely what goes on in strangers' personal lives...however, after the announcement of Song JoongKi's wedding/pregnancy announcement and the hate that is being directed at Song Hye Kyo by his obsessive fan's claiming she is a "maneater" who has "dated every single one of her leading men" is ridiculous and hypocritical.

Looking at the facts, she has dated 3 of her leading men (publically). They include her 'first love' Byung Hyun (2003), who is known for some nasty past scandals and for seeing multiple women at a time 2) Hyun Buin who publically stated he missed her such much after filming the drama together that he wanted to be with her but they separated due to him going to the military (2009-2011) and 3) Song JoongKi (2017) who has purposely tried to turn the public opinion on the divorce in his favour. Out of every single drama and film she has done (over 23 different roles)...she's getting hate for having dated 3? I can guarantee that these men have dated more women and the only reason people say she's dated so many is because she is Song Hye Kyo. She is a stunning woman and considered one of the top beauties in the industry, men fawn over her and frankly, people get jealous and project themselves onto her. Why is it okay that Song JoongKi is having a shotgun wedding just because he is an attractive man? or that Hyun byung dated other actresses, such as Kang sora and did not get hate and married another actress who he also worked with and was celebrated for it? Why can infamous womanizer and original Mr. Seedy get to marry one of Korea's sweethearts and it's all okay?

People in the media and fans have paired her with all her leading men because she is who she is...like Rain, Park Bogum, Lee Ki Young. She has not dated these men, that we know of but people still keep insisting she has 'fucked' or 'dated' all these men. The hypocrisy.

Now, I've never particularly liked Song Joongki but my opinion of him is incredibly low due to how he dealt with his divorce publically and even got his agency to threaten her through the media...a woman he supposedly loved at one point and considering how women are looked down upon (especially in Korea) just shows you what kind of man he is. I even have my suspicions about the timing of his announcement, but that's neither here nor there.

Ultimately, they have moved on and all for them, Song Hye Kyo is dominating with The Glory atm and it's honestly what she deserves. She's showing her self-worth through her work and giving the middle finger to the haters, but attacking her just because of who she represents, is ridiculous and it needs to stop. Rant over.
