#it’s so easy!!#them: EWWWW A BEETLE AHHH KILL IT#me: oh wow! that is a creepy beetle! let’s catch it in this cup and look at it#we can count it’s legs and watch how it moves it’s little antennae#and then let it go outside!#them: OKAY!!! hey everyone look at this cool bug! :D#I mean my gut reaction is often also EW GROSS but I’m trying to be better and honestly it’s so enriching?#kind of like bird watching but with way more diversity and up close observation haha#bugs#insects
