I’m actually scared of alienating some of my followers and moots with all the trans discourse I’ve been steeping quietly in and contemplating, but… I’m trying to not let being scared shut me up about this. That, in and of itself, is erasure and silencing.

Fuck staying quiet. Trans men and mascs deserve a voice, and we, as a group, are not oppressing or invalidating anyone else by using that voice. (Obviously there are shithead exceptions!! Anyone can be an asshole.)

I really hope that if I ever speak about any of this in the future, that people recognize that it’s not ever, ever trans femininity as a concept I have an issue with. It’s people who

- try to divide the community

- are reinventing gender essentialism from the ground up but make it trans

-police other people’s identities and decide for them what oppression they must face because of a tiny set of superficial traits

- simply. Don’t understand what intersectionality means.

- disregard and invalidate anyone who doesn’t fit a very specific (binary, rich, white, abled, flawlessly passing) idea of what it means to be trans.

None of those things are specific or exclusive to one identity. There just happens to be a community of transfems who are currently espousing many of these ideas as gospel. They are understandably defensive because of real actual transmisogyny they face. But other trans people are not your enemy. Accusing anyone and everyone who tries to point these flaws out as radical transmisogynists is simply not true. Pointing out bigotry is not bigotry in itself.

I don’t want the trans community to constantly be at each other’s throats. We each have to sit down and think if we ever catch ourselves blaming an entire other marginalized group for our issues. That’s just fascism babes.

do you know how much i enjoy these characters…

Im pretty proud of the story of this comics, particularly because of the differents threat level that i put inside The first level is the immediate, embodied threat (the guy in red), the second level is the more general threat (the father of the guy in red, who goes by the name of kranan). at first, we think that the father of the guy in red is a genocidal tyrant and we follow the story from the side of his daughter, jeda, who seceded because she believed that. The guy in red, Polaris, is jeda's twin brother (the black-haired one) and has remained loyal to his father. Jeda occupies a territory adjacent to Kranan's, and they're in a state of cold war. we spend the first part of the story thinking that jeda is the good guy and kranan and polaris are the bad guys. then, at the third level of threat, we discover that this is in fact false and that jeda is on the verge of parainoia. In the meantime, she nearly kills her brother and locks him up in prison, wounded and waiting to sentence him to death. so we think she's the bad guy. then, on the 4th and final level, we discover that the genocide of which Kranan has been accused was in fact instigated by the metamorphs, a caste trying to annihilate the genocided people and the empire that Kranan leads, so that they can take power. They manipulated jeda, who in fact was just a toy for them.

In this au, he is Kranan's first born son, twin of jeda. He is a very kind boy, but sarcastic, cynic and clever. He was raised with her, and his mother leave them very early, because she was a metamorph who hate Kranan. When the twin grew up, Kranan discover that his son didn't have his power to manipulate people's emotions and strike them down with lightning. Jeda has. But not polaris. but the kid… DONT CARE LOL. He was clever, kind, and a master of sword, he don't need more power. At 16, peoples began to surround his sister, and polaris feel about like… THIS IS SHIT MEN, I SMELL THAT VERY BAD. He try to talk to her, but she unwant to talk to him, and isolated herself from him and his father. In fact, two years ago, the energia Familly has been genocided. And people thinks that is was under kranan's order because instilla (kranan familly) and energia was traditionnal enemy. In fact absolutly not, it was the metamorph, who wanted to put the energia down, and the instilla with them. They explained to jeda that it was his father falt and she believed them. When jeda choose to leave, she try to kill her father with a lightning but polaris protect his father with his body and take the lightning instead, in the head. (so he has a scar on the right side of his cute face) so he has no power, except the faculty to read in people’s heart (which he discover very lately, because he thinked it was just a kind of normal sixth sense). So he know that thomas and his father are good peoples and that jeda is fool and that we can’t bring him back to reason. But that make him very vulnerable in fight because he can’t like other peoples bend eart or water or metamorphos himself. He can only fight with his sword, but luckilly, he is a master in this art. And Kranan give to him a mask, twin sword, and gloves who can block magic, like her sister's lightning.

Polaris is a very sarcastic boy, but he is always depicted, even by his enemy, as a "pure", because nothing can corrupt him. He his a lill' bit goofy, don't have many tact. He can also have spectacular anger crisies sometimes. He know nothing about savoir vivre (that's awfull i swear) He his MABOY. He is a talented kid. He is very theatral lol. Jeda is absolutly paranoiac, good, stern, with strong ideas about the common good, angry, withdrawn, charismatic, clever, and almost as cynical as her brother. She's altruistic too. Thomas is a kind boy, seem to be a perfect person sometimes. He is calm and clever, but betwen him, jeda, and polaris, I prefear fight polaris and jeda than having thomas angry with me. He is not very talkative and prefers to observe and then act in consequences. He is more introvert than polaris who is a little explosion. In this au, he don't have the dark side that i enjoy so much wrote in his principal universe lol.

Kranan is a wise and advised man who know who is better for his land and his son. He love his child more than his own life. He is broken inside by all the hardships he's had to endure. He don't always know how to show the love that he feel for his son, but he has been a perfect father for his two children. He don't know himself how to feel about jeda's position, but he has been destroy again when she turned against him and hurt his brother. He still love her, but desesperate to can saw her again without has to fight her.
