I’ve been writing a novel for the past couple of decades. Yes, that’s right, I said DECADES. 🤣 It’s taking me so long because I write in spurts of great inspiration, then put it away for loooong periods of time. I don’t know why I don’t consistently take it seriously. I love my main characters (pictured, my art) and the concepts excite me too. It’s like there’s a missing link in the tale that I’m waiting for. Someday, I will finish it. No plans to seek a publisher, mostly because I think it might get flack from Christian groups. 😅 I’m sharing because it’s been on my mind lately. I’m doing more writing these days than I’ve done consistently in years, thanks to my fanfics. So finishing this novel seems more achievable than ever. I just need to devote some time to it, which will have to wait until I free up some of my writing projects. I have five current ITW stories going on at the moment. 😂. Oh and some thoughts about the art. The top image I created yesterday. I’m experimenting with anime style for my two main characters. The image below I created years ago when I first started writing the story. I’m not 100% happy with either one, so I’ll be doing more until I am satisfied.
