Hehe, sneak attack success~ Is what she thinks when Gran flinches at the sudden cold against their cheek. She's done it to others plenty of times - a little prank; a little snap back into reality - though she's had it done to herself a couple times as well. Though seeing them ( themself? ) get surprised by it, along with that familiar on-edge reaction when hearing Beatrix and food in the same conversation, weirdly makes her a bit more giddy - even if this captain was new to her timeline, she wasn't going to let them get too comfortable~

She takes another sip of her drink. Strawberry and blueberry with a bit of a mixed puree - soothingly fruity, if not a bit thick. She's glad Bea and Chloe only focused on ordering Gran's tea, excited about preparing them a little something, and then talking even more over gift ideas for while they're shopping. 'Both our captains deserve the captain treatment! Neither of you are getting out of here without a gift or twelve!' She wondered if they talked this excitedly when they were preparing surprises for her...It put a smile on her face. Hopefully they would too.

All those thoughts are a bolt of lightning - eyes drooped low only for a second once she's sat and settled - a blink and you'll miss it event. Because then she's perking up again at Gran's reaction to the drink, her smile ever present on her face widening from another success. It's obviously manageable - thank you Chloe - but still way too sweet in the end, just as she predicted. "Mm, I see you like it~" An obvious tease, taking a sip of her own tea and sighing in satisfaction. "You know they'll want a whole report on how delicious it was later too, so make sure to drink it all...unless you can't handle it." Another one, this time with a wink and her tongue sticking out just so, before she laughs at her own overdone actions. Then her eyes gaze upwards as she drinks, like they always do, towards that same blue sky. She wonders if their blue is a different shade...
