Re: Jess’s Future Fics for Capitano

Moving forward, all of my Capitano fics that take place after the events of 5.3 will be set in one of the following timelines::

Canon-compliant

Self-explanatory. Capitano is “dead” and will remain that way until/ unless Hoyoverse resurrects him in a future story.

So far, I only have one WIP in this timeline. It’ll probably be the only fic since I’m not rlly into angst (for Capitano, at least ^^; )

Canon-divergent

Capitano is resurrected days/ months after the events of 5.3. Since he was able to accomplish his goal, he no longer has to absorb souls or store them in his heart. Then he safely returns to Snezhnaya to reunite with his lover.

This category might fall under canon-compliant if Hoyoverse resurrects him. Also, the reason why Capitano isn’t immediately resurrected is so I can squeeze in some angsty mourning before the heartfelt reunion *evil laugh*

As of now, most of my Capitano fic ideas are either AUs or set before 5.3. But I just wanted to be clear about this, especially since I have WIPs that take place in both timelines ^o^

Also, the canon-divergent timeline is the “true ending” of Herbarium for the timebeing >:’3
