some Akito thoughts for u:

he is an onion (has layers)

outer layer - “nice kid” vibes. you can see this on occasions where he interacts with ena’s friends or other people he doesn’t know well or expect to ever know well. in my mind, to him it’s the fastest way to get through those interactions.

middle layer - brusque/rude. you can see this in the way he initially treats kohane (& an for partnering with kohane). this is more for those in the music scene, he has high expectations and will be direct with stating them. even after VBS is together as a group, he is still very direct with criticisms instead of sugar coating or holding back. he had the same kind of attitude when he did soccer, very serious about it and expecting that seriousness from others.

inner layer - caring. I believe once kohane mentioned it was akito who...can’t think of the word, but he supports them all. he’s a reliable presence and is always noticing and reacting to the conditions of his teammates.

while those notes are mostly about how he acts w/ vbs I think the same could be applied to a relationship as well! which layer(s) apply would depend on the relation between the reader and akito.
