just getting tcm thoughts off my chest but pearland (where sonny grew up) was a farming community in the early 50s and i can imagine him being so book smart because he took his parents wish for him to live a better life than them seriously. also julie lived right next to the sea like how lucky could you get

😭 ooohh sweet sonnathan... i definitely can agree with that, when i imagine sonny i see a guy very focused and certain on the road he wants his life to take and having the determination to do what he needs to to make that happen!! can definitely see that stemming from watching and experiencing how his parents and their family lived growing up and being certain on ensuring things only got better as he grew older! sonny comes across as such a sweet, warm person just from his voicelines alone and it makes me wanna cry how relieved he is in the ones directed at maria especially 😭 i just know hes the type of person to truly honestly deeply wish everyone around him the absolute best and be so willing to open up his heart and mind to help anyone work towards that too.

like julie i live in california and just about 15-20 drive from the coast, its definitely incredibly pretty depending where you live and the weather ( for those who like the sun & warmth - i unfortunately dont! rip me ) but i do think many would consider her fairly lucky, yeah! ^_^ the piers & boardwalks & parks & rides & pop-up shops along the beaches, the views depending on where you live in cali, you get to look out at the waters and see tied islands across the way and at night all the lights from the homes or buildings or skyscrapers if you're near any citys' downtown area all glitter like stars. always very pretty to see reflecting in the water! <3 im not personally into the weather here in cali but the coasts can be incredibly beautiful and for julie who likely has ties and hobbies etc to the ocean, i can definitely see her making the most of & absolutely adoring it!
