Saw your tags-- everyone knew it was a love story: Chris, Frank, DD, GA, etc. There'd be interviews where they're like "yeah, great chemistry! Can't believe we lucked out! Yep, gonna drag that out~! One day, maybe!" and others where everyone denied, denied, denied.

The clincher, to me, was CC wanting to replace GA with Pheobe's actress because he believed she had better chemistry with DD. And we ALL saw the type of chemistry her character had in the episode; and even though Scully was protecting her friend rather than jealously guarding her crush, she was obviously set up as a foil to Mulder and Pheobe's relationship.

Yeah but CC didn't want it to be one. Or rather, he didn't want whatver Mulder and Scully had to overshadow his bigger picture.

It wasn't CC though, was it? Who wanted to replace Gillian? I thought it was Fox. There was zero chemistry between DD and the Phoebe actress. Less than zero.

That last chapter.. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. You hit me so hard in my feelings i broke down thrice before finishing the chapter. Gaaaahhhh i love your writing so much i could gush about it forever but like, seriously dude you’re so talented and you write complex themes so well. Omg i can’t believe Bucky might actually get out.. although every time i thought that he ended up back with brock. not that I’m complaining because honestly i love watching him struggle and suffer.. like maybe too much. Im kinda sadistic like that. It’s gonna be real sad to say goodbye to bucky being tortured (assuming he does get out…) but I guess he has a lifetime of recovery to struggle through too so there’s that. Idk man, I’m happy for him but at the same time i love the pain he endures under brock and I’ll never be ready to let go of that. *deep sigh* but he must get better. He deserves a happy ending. Idek what the point of this ask was but anywayyy, just wanted to say your work is incredible as always, I was thoroughly pleased with the recent chapter, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. (Like fr can’t wait I’m gonna be thinking about it everyday hahahaha)

Omg it always means so much to me when people say they're emotionally affected by my writing 😭😭 These next few chapters are gonna be pretty tumultuous, and we definitely haven't seen the last of Brock yet! I plan to go pretty deep into the whole "recovery" part of leaving an abusive relationship (as well as Bucky's struggles with wanting to go back to Brock even after he leaves), but he will eventually get a happy ending!

💖- A memory that made them feel special

They'd been sparring for what felt like hours, ducking around each other's blows and sweating up a storm. Leo's arms were most assuredly going to be sore as shit in the morning with the way they'd been going at it, but he was determined, and the little part of him that said "you can win this if you just find a way to accomplish said win" was rearing its ugly little head. He'd managed to beat both Donnie and Mikey in spars before. Leo would find a way to beat Raph, even if it took him all fucking night.

It narrowed down into a series of steps for him then. Concentrate. Weave around enough that he goaded Raph into trying for a punch that swung just a little too wide. Duck under it, targeting the pressure points with precise jabs, swiping his foot low to hook his big brother's feet and unbalance him. Slamming the butt of one katana into Raph's ribs to make sure he stayed down, switching his grip to spin the katana around so that its blade was now pointing at Raph's head--

There was a beat in which they sized each other up, Raph on the ground looking up at him and Leo scarcely daring to breathe, and then loud whooping came from the sidelines in the form of Mikey enthusiastically clapping his hands together, bouncing up and down on the pads of his feet and beaming so brightly it was like looking at a tiny sunbeam. "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Point to Leo! That was awesome, baby!"

"I still say he cheated," Donnie grumbled, leaning against one of the many stacks of tires that were piled in the corner of the room. "Still. I concur that that was quite masterful. Mazel."

Wait. Wait. He'd actually done it? This wasn't just some fever dream brought on by dehydration and who knew what else? He'd actually beaten Raph in a spar?

A giant hand came up, ruffling his head while he squawked in protest. "Heh. Good job usin' my punches against me, Leo. Looks like yer the champion tonight. Now lemme get up. Seriously, little bro, well done."

Champion. Well done.

....Oh, he was absolutely going to keep chasing the warm and fuzzy feeling this was giving him. He'd done it. He could be just as good if not better than his brothers at something, for once.
