Yellowbrow acts so wise but we all know he is just a bastard that likes things going his ways rather than y'know, actually do legit experiments (I've seen better tales where mythical creatures test just how evil or good human is without overdoing it and they didn't control the results at all)

Imagine thinking you're the better one in the Room just because you cheat to get your desired ends lol!

Yellowbrow story would have been more convincing if he did teach the villagers how to work and improve their own lives and if even then, they still want more from him, that can be a fitting result of Humans are selfish creatures compared to how he literally manipulates EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of them, that's just a dick move y'all, his eyebrows are really telling of his nature (I can't trust someone with that furry for eyebrows) and the fact I was fooled when he disguised as the Buddha Kid (I really hate that, I mean Buddha Kid is so cute and better than him, MF had the balls to do that, he's really giving the word Hater more texture)

REAL! There are so many folk tales out there about an angelic figure or someone with a higher power disguising themselves as a humble being, orchestrating a series of events to genuinely test the heart of their subjects. Often times the subjects succumbed to evil deeds and eventually got their karma delivered first hand, meanwhile those with steadfast compassion and good faith are saved from doom.

But Yellowbrow's case is different, it was never about "testing", it was about him wanting the self-satisfaction of winning at the cost of others.

Bit unrelated, but someone pointed out that the sand in Jinchanzi's palm turned into gold here. Maybe it's no more than an aesthetic choice of making the sand sparkle like gold, but others speculate it as an implication that Jinchanzi too has the power to "manipulate" like Yellowbrow did, but he simply never did.
