basically almost like a bunch of months ago i made a happy future au where drones, worker and disassembly pretty much live in a society (no way incredible) and lineage of most of the main become influential families or smth

if you're wondering no these 3 arent directly nuzi children they're just in that lineage that last name was kinda kept but changed to dooress bc someone down the line found doorman cringe idk

important detail about hybrids: in short, bodies are separate from the system. systems can mix wd and dd coding but bodies have to be created to appeal to hybrid systems which in this not too long from its creation society (about like uhhhhh 200 years did I settle on? thats like a bunch of gens. enough for 2nd gen nuzi line to not be there i think.) hasn't been made yet. oh yeah dds look different all of them do to separate from the solver.

vera is a dd dominant wd hybrid. her system was incompatible with a wd body but with her dd body she cannot access certain functions. she is leading the drone defense force one of those dooress aimed positions. she doesn't really express herself much,,,really because of family pressure as she's the eldest current generation child in the family so a lot of expectations. i remember having a plot point where she couldn't hang out with a wd she had a crush on bc his family wasn't rich enough.

rocky is a regular dd. on the doc it says he leads a weapon manufacturing unit but i guess the day i drew this i was on construction. mmmmmmmm we'll see. hes stressed ah but plays it off with :D and a charming attitude (please help him). likes to pick on older sister, vera and rocky i think play fought a lot. his #1 argument is "you're short" ofc jokingly. yes i named him after rocky, whose va is kovach, the va of n. funny reference.

then theres my favorite, mina. she's a sort of therapist or counselor for solver drones and manages records on Mother Heir's (explaining later) to ensure they're doing fine, especially the Cyn ones. she's kinda n but would not take hate for an answer. she doesn't appear to be hurt by much and sometimes has a sort of aggressive happiness. like uhh you scream at her and she'll scream back in revenge or smth. lil gremlin.

they're a joint creation of macey and noir later in their lives and finalized much later. they're canine-feline small robots whose full purpose is to track and give information to drones or Sentinels.

funny tails also add as cleaning if everything's been checked out

also take new sentinel

to trade for better movement and reactions all their senses are removed. they rely on information from scouts that always accompany them. if they dont have info, they don't move.

i decided going to name the first Noir as a placeholder not permanent as the naming is kinda weird bc it only really works well if like Nori died or smth and they were named to commemorate her otherwise its just kinda weird and i don't think they'd be named that otherwise so Noir for NOW

yes they're kinda almost twinning on purpose. Macey is an absolute sponge, she absorbs a lot of things others do from little motions to fit ideas and such. as the tall little sister I think its fitting that she and Noir tend to match often. also gave her snake mouth thing because hissssssssssssss. oh yeah macey wears lighter clothes bc otherwise it blends in with her torso and legs. i think she'd look good in black tho. idk man, macey kinda a working design, i think im more confident in Noir's. but yeah theres the babies!!! Noir is older by 3 years random fun fact

but unfortunately now i gotta rename it to the "Bad Future" AU simply bc the og solver comes back in control of its own body again. funny how this flipped everything around

also also ummm. rip Cyn? ig. from the way it ends, idk why. not a Season 2 but just. kinda like maybe other media to add on it. idk. maybe it was left that way for theorizing purposes and stuff. either way the ending is good.

decided to might as well finish the trio and do that this saturday, zi defo next time tho. i had intended to finish them yesterday but i may or may not have burned out.

final one, mina! I had a bit of trouble getting her colors right. they were often unwittingly desaturated bc I wanted to stick to the Dooress palette. the major struggles were the hair and lights. I needed the purple fade to distinguish from her metal and the eyes as yellow or lavender alone were funky so I did both. also I might edit rocky bc he should have stronger support for the end of his tail. like you see with mina's. also yeah she twinning with her bro :D

she is sort of a DD/WD hybrid, specifically 89% Disassembly and 11% Worker. this doesn't affect her Disassembly Drone body too much but she often struggled making some functions work as she grew older like her wings.

as the youngest sibling she's the luckiest. there isn't really too much expectations her way. while ofc there's baselines things such as ettiquite and public behavior, she moreso has more leniency in her profession. still stressing out but not as much.

since the beginning she's been kind of holding everyone together. Vera would've never considered working with her mother in present day if Mina hadn't tried to keep them on at least neutral terms. Generally she's good at sort of figuring out issues and finding a mediation between conflicting drones. She was planning to be a Drone-Human Relations Specialist but she decided against it after an...incident. Currently, she helps Solver Drones, especially Cyn Heirs (not relative, Solver type) as they're often rejected from society. She dislikes their stigma and wants to help them feel safe or loved in a world that isn’t very kind for them. she's almost always called for a Spiral Incident when a Cyn Heir loses control which often ends in property damage and possible death. Always after the Solver is stripped of their power to prevent further corruption, something that some don't take particularly well, isn't better the collars that do this are very visible and have to be worn for a week before they're removable.

I mainly just changed his hair coloring I think this is prettier and updated him to current dd design, also traded crappy steel beam for a pouch. why? bc I listed hin as a mechanic (???) so he shouldn't be constructor themed idk why I did that

but yeah. he kinda overlooks many drone body building projects as well as being apart of the civilization's council. he's VERY stressed out but does NOT like others knowing that. doesn't really like worry at all. he's willing to comfort others but feels like drones returning the favor is a burden. being revered as the moral. just goes a weird way of expressing more negative feelings that he tries to avoid it. basically a "everything's fine" but secretly he's verging towards snapping at somebody. his sisters are usually the furthest he'd trust with these emotions since they grew up with him and all. ofc like Vera he wasn't exactly like this. just the social pressure of being a figurehead of the top family hooray (unfortunate)

he's great at fighting, more than average, solely bc he and vera fought A LOT in their younger ages. I'm talking there will be like a Sunday of a month probably dedicated to fighting in whatever dirt patch they could create from moving away snow. Mina and cousins of their age would just come over to cheer until momma jumpscare and everyone scatters (except vera and rocky they always got caught. Mina sort of does but gets away bc youngest sister card :P)

I forgot to mention. while he and mina appear to be purely Disassembly Drones, there is a bit of Worker drone blended in from their mother, just not enough to deny Disassembly Drone body and its functions but having tiny things from wd system. I'll explain that part more once I get to the changes wd and dds had after the Solver lost its power

I didn't expect the old design post to go off that hard so I decided to dedicate the weekend to redesigning the lil guys instead

first is Vera, I just mostly touched up her colors, her attire and looks were mostly fine. however I added lore rules for visor colors. also further distinguished DDs as after the events of everything, all of them likely wanted to be as unrelated to cyn as possible. I like to think N definitely shifted his yellow-orange warning paint to smth else, maybe somewhere in yellow but not like solver yellow, more green. I was thinking about blue but i kinda like the uzi and n complimentary color thing so i wanted it in yellow somewhere so yellow-green.

anyway everything abt her i'll probably keep. i imagine she has a sort of "i'm responsible for these gremlins" relationship with her siblings now and these days. just if something happens like rocky drops smth, she just immediately arrives, makes sure hes okay, and then proceeds to absolutely berate him for an hour. ironically when she was younger she was probably the worst of the 3. she often messed around in hard to tell way like switching two items on her mom's, dresser or casually scaring the life out of anyone in the mansion. eventually when she hit like 13 her mom started to get rid of all of that and now she's dying under a boulder of pressure :))))) help her. now these days she's only a goof whenever she doesn't have to publicly display are not silly which feels forever. i like to think when she's very happen, she literally has to stand on her tail to stop it from moving.

whilst she leads the defense force, she doesn't particularly partake in most incidents. though she is always called on severe solver rampages, often going with her mom or Lisa, WD dom DD from the second largest lineage. if you ever see her nyoom past your city you know something VERY BAD has happened. she's spent most of her energy into fighting these guys, so 9/10 the issue doesn't escalate once she stops the solver.

generally she's kind of the current representation of the Dooress not counting her mom and by obligation has to tour everyone in the mansion since her hq is the closest.

Happy Future AU is pending a new name. Since the canon ending is happy, there's no point in naming it that. So now I'm naming it off of the og host's continous existence. still conflicted on whether to name that Cyn or continue using OG Solver and such.
