Helicóptero Bell 212 perteneciente a la Fuerza Aérea Argentina visto días atrás operando en la Base Antártica Marambio. . El Bell 212 se incorporó a la Fuerza Aérea Argentina en 1978, cuando se adquirieron ocho helicópteros en versión IFR (del H-81 al H-88).Poco tiempo después, al accidentarse el H-82, se agregó otra unidad que fue matriculada H-89. . En 1998, se adquirió un ejemplar adicional que fue registrado como H-87, empleando la matrícula que dejó vacante el H-87 original al perderse en un accidente. Este aparato está asignado a la unidad de la FAA que presta servicios para las Naciones Unidas en Chipre, interviniendo en diversas misiones de mantenimiento de la paz junto a los MD500D. .
