After my friends mom refused to drive us to their show when I was 14, I drove myself to see MCR yesterday. Without my shitty friend, or her shitty mom.

It was hot as hell outside and I might get the virus-that-must-not-be-named now, but hell yeah it was worth it. I wonder how all the kids who went in full goth regalia did it… I was dressed as your average metalhead dad and basically drowned in sweat, while the girl with the big black coat was dry and not even red in the face. The envy.

Also I feel like they sound even better now than they did in the early 00s (when they still sounded amazing). Getting G-noted in real life really hits different tho. Did I cry? Yes. Yes, I did.

Now I have the post-concert blues and a hundred mosquito bites. Wish I could go for round two.

Okay enough waffling, I‘ma go play some Bass now, finally feel motivated again!
