Didn't make any changes with the outfit as I honestly really liked the choice for Thomas' route.

it was pretty short but it's VEEERY explosive if you're playing jason's route, also do not skip his special scene at all !! it's truly the best we've got so far 🥺

Woah! I hadn't seen the others, but based only on the description I was also inclined towards Devon's and from the pictures yup, definitely that one!

Each LIs, offers us a different apartment in episode 7, I was curious and went to look for them to see the difference~!

My favorites honestly are the Devon one, to my great surprise because I don't like the industrial style and the Thomas one, I love how everything is automatic and controlled by voice commands even in my real home I use this type of technology * ^ * Unfortunately I couldn't find Thomas' apartment, I had already finished the episode when I remembered I had to save the background if someone have the Thomas’ one feel free to reblog and post it here

MY CANDY LOVE NEW GEN EP. 7 (Headcanon)

Headcanon based of the synopsis of the next episode of mcl new gen (pic below to know the context).

We are gonna ask our crush to help us to get the apartment (I didn't know we had such salary to buy one in the first place lmao).

In my case, I'll choose Thomas (my route) and I thought it would kinda funny we get all lovely-dovey and touchy with him infront of the real state agents to fool them into thinking we're a couple (yes we are).

I think he will lend us grab his hand and viceversa like the episode 6!

I made this based on the previous interactions we had together and the mutual understanding we have with him 👀.

By the way, I want to introduce my Newcrette, Dahlia! 🥳

▪︎For more context of my headcanon:

It's almost time to end their little love complot and Dahlia's getting more and more nervous about this performance. She doesn't know if it's because they are "fooling" real state agents, Thomas capacity to stay calm the whole time or the sudden physical contact he gave her from time to time.

Of course the agents noticed a weird behavior coming from Dahlia so when they ask them if they're truly a couple looking for a apartment to live together Dahlia didn't think too much and grab Thomas by the collar of his t-shirt.

Both of them caught by surprise, even Dahlia is shocked by her own actions and now they're looking at each other, exploring their face features (thanks to the perspective, they look like they're kissing hehe).

It was only a few seconds but to Thomas and Dahlia it seemed like the time has stopped. Sadly, got interrupted by one of the agents. Dahlia and Thomas came out of the trance they were in and turn to look at them, with their faces still stuck together.

Dahlia: "we are so in love, right Thomas?"

Thomas: "yeah..."

Yeah guys, we can see that 🧍‍♀️

It was fun drawing and writing this little headcanon, so I hope whoever find and take their time to read this post, has enjoyed it as well! 🫂💜

My Candy Love New Gen Episode 8- Little Review&Commentary

!Spoilers Ahead!

I'm not that excited while writing this review today because I honestly feel like a lot of people clocked beemov's ass really fast in regards to how innapropriate this whole story was and i respect the good points ppl made. I don't know how much i can add to this discussion then you guys.

No matter how much some members of the fandom might imply we are being dramatic or harsh in our opinions, i don't agree with them at all. And i want a little round of applause to y'all for not letting this slide.

Devon and Thomas are the two characters that change the story's direction in the way of Ysaline choosing to go with them (everyone but Amanda basically) to try to spy on Roy.

I honestly didn't have any opinion about Devon prior to this but being on Thomas's route currently, this whole thing pissed me off. I really think Thomas has a pretty privilege or something because imagine if there was a guy in your office (well, two guys) that suggested you go spy on your naked coworker and they weren't conventionally attractive 😭 Wouldn't you be more creeped off? Just goes to show attractive people be getting away with everything.

Thomas being possibly/probably being neurodivergent has been discussed here before but like, the comments he made and the way he acted was not it. Grown adults acting like spies.

Devon being their boss and still doing that shit to his supposed "friend" was also an hr nightmare.

Amanda won my heart in this episode by having some sense to refuse to go. Everyone acting like she is so stuck up was the only realistic part of this episode tbh. Feeling like you are the only sane person in a work setting is real.

Also beemov making Amanda openly imply this whole idea is off putting and innapropriate makes this whole thing worse. Like you knew what you were doing& how it might have been recieved by writing this.

I played the whole thing towards Thomas's illu to see what happens&how bad the episode went. As i predicted, we didn't see him naked (of course...) and i was relieved this shit didn't get more out of pocket.

Also when it comes to the special scene&illustration, i agree with people saying our romance is moving a little too fast. Like i'm not shaming anyone who says they love quick-paced heated romance stories or games. Nor do i shame people who say they would move fast like this with their date/crush irl. Honestly everyone can do whatever they want as long as they are safe. You do you.

But like is it that crazy not to expect Ysaline being naked in front of the guy she have known for only a few weeks, without not even properly kissing him? (the one on ep 7 doesn't count, come on.)

MCL games usually have more classic slowburn romance elements and i didn't expect this.

I wish i played Amanda's route before but seeing im on this journey with Thomas, i think he has an issue with personal boundaries and this is gonna be pretty interesting..

New Gen, ep 1 y 2

Finally I had time for a "little" review! I'm late but better late than never. Like many, I had my expectations and I can say that, apart from 1 point that concerns me and that I will mention later. I am pleasantly surprised with the final product.

Let's start at the beginning and I want to say that I really like that they give us a full context about Ysaline's life and her family from the very first moment, it helps me to connect with her, unlike Candy who in ep 20 I think we just meet her parents. And like Ysaline, I'm ready to make the same mistakes again and even worse (Why go for 1 boss? if you can go for 2 😏)

The animations, I don't want to leave out the animations, from the changes of expression of our character in each dialogue, to the, at first weird but then not so weird, "camera close-ups", I loved them. Thomas peeking out from the side of the screen or when a route approaches us in the moments of the dates, are an extra touch that helped me to get more into the story.

Regarding the routes and characters in general I want to say that I find them nice, it is a varied group in personalities which is what interests me the most and I want to discover who have their own groups and who are besties (the scene where they all run into Devon's office is awesome). Now with the routes, from second 1 I declared myself Jason and Thomas route, which I tried to follow but to my surprise, just following my instinct I ended up on Devon and Jason's routes…. (by the way the new Cassy/Nath) The personalities of the routes are well defined and, at least in my experience with Devon and Jason I felt "chemistry" that with the others I didn't (and that's ok, I'm not looking to fall in love with everyone).

Now talking about plots, I feel they have a lot to draw from, and although I know that showing the Cosy Bear Cafe event would be very difficult due to the personalization of each player, I don't deny that I would like to see it in NG. I don't mind that some arcs may be cliche, as long as they take risks as they have been doing in MCLLL, I want to see controversial and/or sensitive topics!

And finally… my ONLY complaint, and more than a complaint is a concern, is the issue of the points and not the PA's, no, not at all, I made a very quick calculation and it's fine. But the gems is another thing, 2 per day + 7 on the last day of the month gives us between 65 and 67, if they release 1 episode every 2 months, well that's perfect, you have 130-134 gems for the episode. What's the "but" then? I'm a sl@t and I like to have special moments with more than one route… in this case 2, if it is 1 additional scene per route and each one costs 120 gems, in an episode I would have 240… so I would have to wait DOUBLE to play an episode my way, to my taste… Is it unforgivable? Not at all, it's a detail in fact, but if someone would read this, they could lower it a little… just a little, maybe to 100 and I wouldn't feel so devastated ☹️

Other than that, and to close. New Gen was a positive surprise, you can see the love that is in the game, in terms of gameplay, graphics, animations, etc, etc. 100/10 nothing to say, excellent work. I TRUST that this quality that reflects the growth of Beemoov as a company and MCL as a franchise, will be seen in the plot, in the arcs and in the development of the routes, which after all, is the most important thing for the players.

Well, I keep changing my idea for the headcanon so I'll just combine them. Also, I couldn't find the pattern for the top so I used a random one.

HC time:

So I will follow the whole moving out thing as well. Elizabeth's reason for looking for a new place despite having one that's mostly empty is that... she just wants a place of her own that she doesn't have to share with anyone, plus, the place where she currently lives is a bit far from where she works.

She appreciated everyone trying to help her but turned it all down because she wanted to do this herself.

Elizabeth questioned a bit the real estate agent about why he is accepting only couples and that sort of clause thing shouldn't exist since it's a bit discriminatory. But nevertheless, she wanted that apartment so she tagged Jason along.

The way he acted all corky and stuff made Elizabeth very angry. She felt looked down on by "some guy" who despite his looks had a pretty ugly personality.

Because of that, she couldn't control herself and told the truth and started crying a very...very ugly cry I must add. She started saying that all men are the same and they only see women as assets and she thought Jason was different and recalled some times she felt the same. And this made Jason's heart hurt a bit. He felt bad for making her feel like shit and *insert Jason's special scene here*. Honestly, if you cut all the specifics about Ioan, the scene fit perfectly.

Elizabeth was quite taken aback by Jason suddenly trying to comfort her and thought that maybe he was just like her dad, a show-off.

After that, Elizabeth talked with the real estate agent and told him that what he doing was probably illegal that her father is a lawyer, and that he should call his client to talk this over. And they did talk and lucky solved this.

Jason was impressed by Elizabeth and wondered what other tricks she had in her sleeve and she answered "You have no idea". And so, she got the apartment and left for work.

so my friend randomly started playing mcl??? literally like what LOL so that gave me the motivation to start playing again! a few things i wanna say: 1. one of the reasons why i keep dropping this game other than just life is bc of the PRESSURE to play the mini games!!! they're so time consuming but i feel like its such a waste to not do them bc you can earn but to 10 extra AP from break basket and insect rush so idk in my mind id rather ignore the entire game than constantly think "you could've gotten more AP if you would've just done the mini games" ARGHHHH i'll try to not let that demotivate me this time! esp because i want to save AP and play when i have enough :( which can take up to two months ahhhh 2. where im at in the game: so im on ep 7 with hyun tbh i even forgot i started love life loll and im not loving it tbh hyuns attitude... should i step down as hyuns no1 fan lolol ps. i have other accs on different servers too where i do different charas: all of the og HSL boys, and I KNOW ITS LATE but im planning to play Rayan soon... 3. literally 5 months ago this was announced and im just now finding out there will be an mcl new gen??? tbh i like this bc this adult life series isn't really doing it for me as much lol i can't wait!! 4. side note about eldarya... i don't think i'll ever play that again but maybe i'll log in just to collect maana? not sure lol idek what's going on there like where the story is if its finished yet... i'll have to lookinto it but i don't want any huge spoilers in case i do decide to play soon so eek ! 5. a more in depth breakdown on where i'm at with the routes im currently playing - Castiel: HSL done, ep 4 in UL - Nathaniel: HSL done, ep 3 in UL - Lysander: HSL done, ep 3 in AL - Kentin: HSL done, ep 2 in AL - Armin: HSL ep 40 (T^T) - Hyun: UL done, LL ep 7 And hopefully I'll play Rayan soon! MCL NG ep 7 edit (pt 2)

HC time:

So here Avery's reason for moving is sort of the same as Elizabeth's: they want to have their own space. For Avery, it's not so urgent to move because they enjoy their roommate's company but they just decide to try it out.

They were surprised when everyone offered to help them find a new place to stay. They liked Thomas' idea was good because Avery also likes modern stuff.

Their pretending to be a couple to get the apartment was a funny idea for Avery and also was a chance to get closer to Thomas. The way he acted a bit too much made Avery almost giggle in from of the real estate agent. And Thomas seemed to enjoy it as well earlier saying that he enjoyed lying like this and playing pretend. (psycho a bit)

Their interview went well and Avery really felt like they were dating. Avery insisted they're referred to as Miss and Mr. Bates because they liked Avery's name more. Thomas even said that he's very in love with Avery which made them blush and for a second actually believe him.

Also the whole "nothing is really functioning in the house yet" made both Thomas And everyone a bit annoyed and Avery started to reconsider.

Atlas, Thomas saying something like "We forgot to do our thing" and then going with a bold kiss really impressed Avery and they almost broke out their usual self for a moment.

After that, Avery didn't feel like taking this apartment and was like "Be more informed next time" to the real estate agent. Thomas saying that he was willing to do this again got avery a bit surprised. They don't really understand what is going up through Thomas's head.

And so, they just went back to work.

Well, guess what? No moving out with this one. Exactly, Chloe has no reason to move out because she already lives alone in a nice apartment, close to work.

Because of that, in this episode, Chloe is mostly renovating her new apartment, a new coat of paint, some new furniture, and general inspection.

The catch is that she needed some help with this and some of her brothers offered to help... and Roy. She mentioned needing help at work and Roy volunteered.

About Chloe's apartment: It's more of a studio but it's very neat and cosy. Modern, but not too much and it's on the 3rd floor. It wasn't renovated in a while so she thought of doing that since she's like the place and wouldn't want to go to waste.

She gets a call. Chloe's brothers sort of thought that her living alone was a bit dangerous and that she shouldn't waste money and just move back home. So Chloe told them that her boyfriend would move in with her soon, that being Roy. He did accept to pretend to be her boyfriend and here's where I sort of go back to the episode.

They did talk about how should approach this and they just agreed to act normal but just a bit more affectionate. Roy also called her darling which made her heart skip a bit. However, Chloe knows her brother would bother Roy with questions.

At the apartment, the brothers rushed to them and asked them all sorts of stuff just to make sure. Roy seemed to handle the guys pretty well, while Chloe was a bit nervous. Roy was so sweet, showering Chloe with compliments and just being a great boyfriend generally. He mentioned cooking for Chloe and how would they spend their mornings. Then he lifts Chloe and puts her on the countertop and continues to talk about Chloe in a seductive tone. The brothers were shocked and embarrassed. Chloe too but she managed to play along well.

After that, things went to normal and Chloe said "See, I'm doing pretty well for myself". The next days Roy was there helping and even if he refused compensation Chloe thought of going out with him and her brothers.
