Pretty much flew past this event with the help of my saved AP. Just like a previous Easter(?) event, it featured a memory game which I’m not all that great at. I also had a lot of trouble getting into work on the app which sucked.

Didn’t really care all that much for the bunny outfit- I do like the ears and the wig for it. I also like how colorful the skirt is on the 2nd outfit.

I like how relaxed and casual Nathaniel and Candy look in their illustration-bonus points for including White. ^^ Definitely seems like something my Candy Faye would do...just maybe in something more casual.

A water gun fight is pretty fun, but it’s more of an outdoor activity. (Then again, it wouldn’t be appropriate to wear something like a bunny suit outside...) I’m a little concerned about the furniture getting wet and I wouldn’t want any of them to get into an accident. 

Not really a fan of Rayan’s illustration, tbh. Just...something about eating food off of each other’s bodies kinda irks me. I mean, I wouldn’t know what it’s like since I’ve never tried it. But, it just kinda sounds unsanitary to me.

I’ve stepped on broken glass before and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Nothing too serious- just a tiny shard on my foot and it didn’t bleed very much., thankfully. Regardless, I do hope that they tidied up after all of that mess. And, if I had old dishes, I wouldn’t just destroy them like that... 😕

Priya’s illustration is really cute- I like how excited she and Candy look. I’ve never flown a kite before, but I bet it’s a lot of fun. Is it just me or is the lighting a bit off? (Idk how to describe it- I guess you could say to me it looks really saturated...)

I do hope that the community meter is full before the event ends so everyone can get those chickens. But, I don’t know how many players are currently active so that might be an impossible challenge...

☆ Seeing as some were concerned that Priya seemed a little pale in the Easter Illustration... ☆

She did look a little oddly pale, so I was curious to do a color test for myself.

I took Priya’s usual sprite and tried to match the shorts in the illustration to it, to make sure there isn’t any accidental bias. I started with curves, because this is my usual go-to when attempting to brighten with lights or lower for an illustration, then I turned down the saturation, because the sun can really saturate everything, and to my surprise, there it is. Sure, no matter what I did the shorts were a little more orangey, but the lightness and saturation are about nearly the same. 

You can see that her skin tone now looks a lot more like her sprite! 

Hopefully that helps anyone who might have been concerned. :3

Edit: I do want to clarify that this was a test and I was not intending to make it seem like I “made it better”, my point here is the illustration is actually correct in the way the colors are meant to be portrayed in the given environment.
