MCL Christmas Event 2019

Answers for Castiel’s illustration:

1) How about a little walk through the forest? 2) You want us to bathe in naked in the middle of the mountain forest, alone... Have you lost your mind? 3) And if someone catches us when we are naked in the water? It would be a bit embarrassing, don’t you think? 4) Castiel, I bet that we’ll be in all the tabloids tomorrow morning!

Answers for Hyun’s illustration:

1) No, actually, I think that I like our little coastal city. We have the coast, the city, and the beach isn’t far. 2) Another walk on the program? 3) Ugh... I think we are going to end up lost in the forest, to be eaten by wolves. We should probably turn back. 4) Aren’t you scared to stay here alone...? I mean I saw The Blair Witch Project, and I promised myself I would never sleep in the forest...!

1) I really want to hit the slopes! It’s been so long, let’s not waste a minute! 2) Yes, but... Maybe you want to enjoy yourself, and not spend your morning teaching me. 3) (It’s almost my turn. I turned towards the the person running the lift to ask them for help, maybe he could slow the lift down a little bit...) 4) I trust you, I forbid you to leave me alone in the middle of the slope!

1) A good hike to warm up! 2) Try concentrating on your breathing rather than your thoughts. 3) You wouldn’t mind? We’ve only been walking for about on hour... I wouldn’t want to hold us back from finishing the hike. 4) I’m not moving! Or going back to campus, or anything else. I just want to stay here... with you.

Edit: It’s possible that this is not the only way to get the illustrations, but I tested these answers multiple times, I got the illustrations every time.

You know what pisses me off the most about this whole new accounts situation? It's not fun. Let me explain. On the first day I was overwhelmed by all the clothes and companions in the shop. I was like "omg I actually never had this piece in this specific color because I never had the coins to buy it!" or "oooh, right, I couldn't get this companion". Sure, it's nice to look at your closet and only see the specific stuff that you use, like in MCL. But it's not fun. Before the accident I would go through my closet, trying to make an outfit, and remember "I got this at the music event 2019, wow, I survived that hell of a minigame" or "aww, I remember when I had to paint easter eggs and basically got carpal tunnel syndrome" or "the summer bindles, wow, I made a lot of maana with those!".

And now what?

"got that in the shop. got that in the shop. that one too." It's not fun. It's not a closet, a collection, I'm PROUD of. Some items I had to log-in everyday to get, some others I got after YEARS of exploring the map. Some other items I had to save maana to get from another player. I remember every single gift I got, I remember every single minigame. I also remember doing the saint valentine 2018 mini game to 10/20 people because it was a nightmare for them. And going through my closet was like reliving every moment, it was FUN, it was rewarding, it was something I was proud of. I would put my oldest o rarest items on and flex on the forum, being like "yes, I was there". It was my reward for SUFFERING through some of the -horrible- events. And yes, I had THOUSANDS of useless items from explorations, especially stuff I NEVER wore from Halloween or Christmas. But it was proof that I had done those events. And now it's all gone. And now EVERYONE can get the same stuff I worked my butt off for 5 years for with just one damn click.

And you can argue "we would have gotten a special boutique with everything in it sooner or later". Yes, of course, but people wouldn't have been able to get EVERYTHING from it. It would have been in maana, with Beemoov's stupidly high prices, so people would have gotten 20 pieces, maybe even more, but not every single thing in multiple colors. And it hurts me. I look at my white and pink closet and I feel NOTHING. It's -kinda- full and yet it feels empty.

I’m trying to figure out what’s going to happen from now until the end of the year.

Because, excluding holidays and weekends, there are exactly 23 days left for:

MCL UL episode 19

MCL HSL Kentin’s spin-off

MCL Christmas event

Eldarya episode 28

Eldarya Christmas event

ML’s launch (if we still want to believe the 2019 date on the website)

We know that episode 19 is coming on 4th Dec, and this is basically the only date we can be fairly sure about.

Last year we had the Christmas calendar starting 1st Dec and the rest of the event from 25th until January. We could expect something similar this year just so they can recycle the code, but whatever the event is going to be I’m not expecting it to hinder the launch of everything else, except maybe the spin-off.

If we’re already having the new UL episode and the event in December, we could probably expect Kentin at the end of November. I’d like to think it could be out either on the 20th or on 27th Nov (it’s already been uploaded on all the severs I play on). Which one of the two dates probably depends on Eldarya.

Last year Eldarya’s Christmas event came out on 19th Dec. If they’re going for something similar this year, we could probably expect it around 18th/19th Dec. I do believe we’re going to get episode 28 before that, so this basically leaves us with: 20 Nov, 27 Nov and 11 Dec. But in the past it has happened that Eldarya’s episodes came out the same day as MCL (it’s rare but it happens), so we could also expect the episode on 4th or 5th Dec.

Could we get ML soon? The website still says 2019, if we believe it we could even get ML tomorrow because trailers have been out for about a week now, and we’re definitely not expecting anything from either MCL or Eldarya. But if it’s not coming tomorrow, I feel like it may be out on 11th Dec (if they are aiming for no clashes with their other games).

So in conclusion, these are my (very personal so please don’t come for my head) expectations:

ML either 13Nov or 11Dec

MCL HSL Kentin’s spin-off either 20Nov or 27Nov

Eldarya 28 either 20Nov or 27Nov (or if they mess things up 4Dec or even 11Dec)

MCL UL 4Dec.

MCL Christmas event will probably start with the calendar on 1st Dec.

Eldarya Christmas event on 18Dec.

Or, anyway, any combination of these dates.

Rayan’s trivia

I have a reeeally hard time remembering details about the characters that I like, so I decided to make one trivia master post about Rayan. For that I will be mainly using what I see in gameplay (specially the ones made by @itsaeriie) and some of @sakurina-mcl posts about the episodes. I won’t be adressing his personality, just small trivia things about him. 

I tried to follow the episode’s line of time.  

Rayan Zaidi is our teacher in the modern and contemporary art class; 

He likes Oscar Wilde to the point to quote “It is the uncertainty that charms one. A mist makes things wonderful” (The Picture of Dorian Gray);

Melody is his class assistent (y-i-k-e-s);

Movies that he likes: Love Actually, The Fifth Element, Matrix and Star Wars (from ep 3); 

He also seems to appreciate/know Game of Thrones, we don’t know if he read the books or watched the series. 

Einfrost, the character desinger of mclul, posted in her tumblr, references of Rayan’s desing;

His parents used to drag him "into absolutely every museum in the country" throught his childhood. He says in episode 6 that them played a role in his academic choice; 

In his words, Rayan started his academic life really young (no furder information about how young he was) and he used the opportunity to travel (again, he doesn't says to where or for how long);

In episode 6 we notice that he has the picture of his ex-wife as backgroud of his cell phone;

Leigh is the only friend Rayan has off campus - he is who invited Rayan to the beach (ep 7);

Rayan have friends “scattered all around the world”, Leigh is supposedly the only one who lives nearby now; 

Rayan is 33 years old - Chinomiko did a small statement about it in Rayan’s Fanclub on the French forum and its confirmed in episode 7;

Rayan is not a fan of beachs he prefers moutains. He would easily trade in a beach day for a “warm crystal-clear lake in late summer and a little isolated cabin down in a valley.”;

Rayan met Candy's father, Philip, at a show from a band/group/artist called "Deep Purple", they’re “next to each other in the pit” this happened five years ago;

They (Rayan and Philip) sang together the song “Smoke on the water” and after Rayan paid a beer for him;

Philip seems to likes Rayan and even called him a friend, hey agreed to hang out together again;

Rayan’s ex-wife’s name is Chloé; 

Chloé died in an terrorist attack that happened in a mall, there were few deaths but she was one of them. Rayan was in his way to meet up with her when that happened; 

It's been seven years since she passed away, since that happened, he has not dated or tried to be friend with another woman; 

They got married hurriedly and quietly (not telling anybody about their decision), when both were 23 years old. It was a difficult marriage according to him, they fought a lot, she had been his first serious relationship and he did not have much to compare, but losing it was horrible for him; 

The terrorist attacked happened near to Christmas (he don’t give us a date, but she went to the mall to shopping for it and like I said, he was suppose to meet her there); 

Rayan moved out after getting his university degree, to a different city, to "stay away from their memories" and to have “a fresh start"; 

Candy was the first person to whom he unburden about his ex wife and about her death; 

He tells us that “he loved her with all his soul and that she was his best friend”; 

He also says he used to look for common traits in other women with his ex, but with Candy he sees no connection or likeness or whatsoever - and apparently, he quite likes it;

Rayan doesn’t want anyone to know about what happened to his ex;

Christmas’s event 2018:

Rayan gives Candy the gift (that is a black scarf) he had bought for his landlady because Candy wasn’t wearing anything particularly warm. He bought it for her because she watered his plants while he was away. (taken from @sakurina-mcl‘s post);

Just like Rayan, Philip likes “Actually Love” (just like the rest of Candy’s family too);

Valentine’s day event 2019:

He mentions Klein Blue that is a deep blue hue first mixed by the French artist Yves Klein; 

In the end when you give to him all the 6 blue roses he will give to you a Necklace with a Angelite, whose meaning is essentially calming/peaceful–in general and for relationships.

The Blue Roses that surround him in the ilus of that event are Blue Roses, they can mean: “I can’t have you but I can’t stop thinking about you”, also the inner feelings of love at first sight, a synonym for an impossible or unrequited love, accomplishing the impossible, fighting all odds, and new beginnings.
