Very quick try on of my new MCC-35 corset from Mystic City Corsets.
Took a few photos of me trying the corset on. I think it fits quite well.

Sorry the photos are blurry, my hand isn't very steady and the camera isn't very good!
What do you think?

Finally breaking in my MCC-20
It's only taken forever for me to get around to breaking in my MCC-20 corset from Mystic City Corsets @mccorsets. When I first received it I was ill with a really bad chest cold so didn't get to try it on for ages whilst I recovered from that. Then I just kinda forgot. I tried it on a few times but that was about it.
Anyway today I'm having a lot of issues because there is too much relaxin in my system right now (yay periods!) and my spine hurts. So thought that popping on a corset might help. I chose to wear this one because it is warm today and it's a mesh corset so as breathable as possible!
Here's a not so great image of it on. I've  got it lightly laced for breaking it in. Currently wearing it with a 3" gap. So only an inch reduction right now. It is actually measuring 26" on top which is my natural waist measurement so it seems that even though it's mesh, it's still an inch thick when worn!

Sorry for it being so blurry!
Anyway off now to do some washing up so that there is stuff clean to cook dinner in! I'll be wearing my waterproof apron to protect the corset.

Checking the tracking status of my new Mystic City Corset...
It was shipped via USPS and on their website, the last tracking update said that it had left London Heathrow and was on its way to the destination (Me!).
I was thinking that maybe now it's in the UK, I would get more detailed tracking information from Royal Mail, so I check that. The info said that it would be delivered by parcelforce by 48hr service. And that the status was "advised". Royal Mail basically said that Parcelforce have my package and it'll be on the way soon.
So I think, ok, maybe Parcelforce tracking will have more info? Check their website and they don't even think that it's arrived in the UK yet! They still think it's in America. Which is kinda hilarious since it would be their scanning of the parcel on passing through customs and onto the delivery van that would have notified USPS that it was in the UK in the first place! Yet their own tracking website is lagging behind. ROFL!! I'm just finding it really funny how they know less (being the ones currently handling it) than the country of origin knows.
Anyway I'm sure it is going to arrive really soon (Tuesday or Wednesday probably) so let's see how it goes.
I'm excited to receive yet another manic impulse buy of a corset. I swear it should be illegal for places to have sales when I'm manic. LOL My brain is all "SALE?! That means it's practically FREE!!" 😏 Silly manic brain!

Just a fun photo I took a long while ago now of my Mystic City Corsets MCC20 ( @mccorsets ) being worn on top of my custom made to measure underbust (with in person fittings) by Sparklewren. I thought it was interesting to show the difference in lengths and so the MCC20 is only laced gently on top of the other corset so as not to damage either.
Anyway been meaning to post it for ages and just doing it now as I wanted to share it elsewhere so thought I may as well put it here too!

Corset Try On & Review. Or not.
Going to have to wait on doing the try on and review of my MCC-20 as what felt like just a tickly cough on waking up yesterday has turned out to be a bit of a cold. Ended up spending most of the day in bed yesterday going hot and cold and trying to get mucus out of my lungs. Lovely stuff. Not feeling much better today and it seems that Tony is feeling crap now too. So yay for illness. >.<
This is what happens when you don’t go out much (I leave the house maybe once a month on average which is terrible) and don’t come into contact with many other humans. Your immune system doesn’t get topped up by coming into contact with small variations on the cold virus and so then when you *do* go out, its undergone so many more changes and you actually get ill. “Sterile” environments suck. I barely ever used to get ill, now I feel a little ill the day after going into town. I need to go out more. Get my immune system back up and running.
Hopefully it won’t be long until I’m feeling well enough to do the try on and review. I want to share photos!

Sightseeing Corsets
The thing I love about ordering from Mystic City Corsets is seeing the tracking updates of where the corset has been on the way to me. My corset is currently waiting for its plane at J.F.K. International airport after having a brief sightseeing tour of New York, New York.
I like to imagine that that makes my corset cultured, taking in the sights rather than just heading straight to the plane.
Does anyone else find themselves imagining the journey their corsets take to get to them? As if they are living things?
