“Too cold,” Mikorin grumbled as he walked while rubbing his arms. Honestly he wouldn’t even be out here if it wasn’t for the late release of the new game he wanted.

“Want me to give you my coat?” Mayu offered.

“It’s not that dire,” Mikorin said.

He was grateful Mayu offered to come with him. Being out this late it felt better to have some company. Afterwards, they were going to have a sleepover at Mikorin’s house.

Something white caught his eye and he turned. A lone snowman had been in the park they were cutting through.

“Heh, looks like some kids had fun,” he muttered with a laugh. “Almost makes me want to build a snowman.”

Mayu frowned, and then surprised Mikorin by gathering snow up in his hands and starting to roll into a snowball.

“Hey, I was joking!” Mikorin snapped. “We don’t have time for-”

He paused and checked the time on his phone. They actually did have plenty of time and he had preordered the game. It’s not like he had to worry it would be sold out.

I just we can just five minutes to make a snowman, Mikorin thought and laughed. Who ever thought Mayu was such a kid.

After a minute, Mayu had a giant snowball and looked it over thoughtfully.

“That’ll be a good base,” Mikorin said. “Now we just need to make the body-”

“It’s done,” Mayu declared as he stood up.

“Huh?!” Mikorin cried. “But we only got one ball.”

“Too much effort to make the rest,” Mayu said with a shrug.

“Are you that lazy you can’t finish making a snowman?!” Mikorin shouted. “It doesn’t even look like a snowman! Just a giant ball!”

Mayu turned around, stroked his chin in thought and put his hat on top of the snowball.

“There,” he stated.

“Now it just looks like a snowball with a hat on it,” Mikorin growled as he pinched the bridge of his nose. “Look let’s at least give it a face, alright?”

They managed to find some pebbles to form a smiling face on it.  As he stepped back, Mikorin cringed a little.

“Actually, I wonder if we made that worse,” he said. “It looks like a decapitated snowman.”

Mayu silently reached into his pocket, brought up a notepad and a pen, wrote on it and put it on the head.

The note read : The rest of the body is buried under the snow.

“NOW IT SOUNDS LIKE A CRIME SCENE!” Mikorin sighed and took Mayu’s hand. “Forget it, let’s just go get the game.”

alright but gsnk x ohshc where tamaki got into a really good commoner’s romance manga and recreating the scenes in the host club until eventually yumeno-sensei is held as the utmost romance specialist and kyoya arranges a meeting between the high school girl who writes it and the host club by throwing increasing quantities of money until yumeno-sensei’s manager had no potion but to agree (with a ndc signed). thus enters nozaki umetaro

Okay so a few things bc I have IDEAS

Nozaki didn’t really give a shit about an ndc. But Ken insisted because “these guys have influence kid c’mon” and he agreed

He was informed he could bring his “staff” in the hella fancy letter(A LETTER CHIYO NOT EVEN AN EMAIL) so of course he brings manga squad along

Originally it was just gonna be him Chiyo and Hori bc they do the bulk of it but Chiyo pointed out how important Waka’s job is too and then Mikorin got sad and wanted to be included and Nozaki figured why the hell not he’s the inspiration anyway

Seo Mayu and Kashima WERE gonna tag along but it didn’t work out so it’s just Nozaki, Chiyo, Hori, Waka, and Mikorin

They go right after school so they’re all in their uniforms and when they get to Ouran Hori immediately regrets coming along

“Why are they all in cupcake dresses? Are they doing a play?”

But they soldier on, lead by one of Kyoya’s family’s servants and they make it to the music room pretty much unscathed 

Doors open, flowers, the usual Host Club nonsense

No theme bc Tamaki wanted the “authentic experience” 

Tamaki being...well Tamaki just kinda assumed Chiyo is miss yumeno and goes straight into Prince Mode™ 

Flirting, charming the whole nine yards

“Well isn’t it a pleasure to meet you, you’re even more beautiful than your artwork Princess. No, a creator of your magnitude should be called a queen

Chiyo is confused and flustered at the same time

Nozaki is not having a great time but he doesn't know why(it’s bc he’s jealous but shhh)

Kyouya eventually pries Tamaki off and formally introduces himself to the little group 

“Pleasure to meet you Miss Yumeno” And he holds out his hand

Only for Nozaki to shake it

Cue Tamaki mental breakdown

Miss Yumeno is a GUY?! A BIG SCARY GUY?! WHY IS NOBODY WHAT HE THINKS THEY ARE?!

Cue mushroom corner for him

The rest of them mingle while Tamaki does...whatever it is Tamaki does in the corner

Oh my god I want to write more of this. Send me ideas guys who would interact with who?

1) can always count on a Kashima to make things more messy entertaining, even if it’s the younger one!!

2) but you still ship Mikorin x Mayu more right Mayu and Rei are cute together (both romance and platonic wise)! I think Mikorin would die if paired up with her because (i) she’s his best friend’s younger sister and (ii) Rei’s delusions are too much for his weak heart.

3) yes no maybe? Could be a gene thing. Gotta wait until Rei meets her special someone and gets comedically beat to a pulp by them to find out, I guess.

Mayu was originally supposed to be nozakis sister and be mikorins love interest and then tsubaki remembered mikorin can't talk to girls at all so she made mayu nozakis brother and removed absolutely NONE of the romantic subtext. Plus in the Valentine's day official art it had mikorin and an "unknown" person and on the bottom it read "mikoto x boyfriend". Conclusion: people who make mikorin forever alone jokes and people who ask him to get a pairing are blind cowards

Last movie I watched: I don’t know which one was the last => Kyou No Kira-kun (Today’s Kira-kun), I remember being really disappointed. The manga is really good, I don’t know HOW they could still mess it up so much. The nice thing about the manga is that even if the theme is melo, the atmosphere isn’t. The movie is just a (bad) tear-jerker. 

or => Ishuukan Friends (One Week Friends). I really enjoyed it. I was waiting for the friendship and not the romance, and it delivered. It was touching, the acting wasn’t bad. They followed the manga atmosphere and that’s important. (it was still more melo than the manga, but okay)

Top 3 fictional characters: Wowowowowowowowow. That’s way too difficult. From anywhere? Manga, movie, drama, tv-shows, books, etc? 

There’s so much different way to love a character... I will do a manga/drama one. 

3 ) Because I love watching his growth : Natsume from Natsume Yuujinchou (Natsume’s Book Of Friends). Because she’s such a realistically badass character : Seo Yun from Solomon’s Perjury.

2 ) Because she deserved everything she ever wanted : Aki from Joô No Hana (Queen’s Flower). Because he is such an interesting (and very well-played) villain : Lee Jun Ho from I Remember You (Hello Monster)

1 ) Because he’s my ultimate best girl : Mikorin from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Because he’s the best and most interesting teacher : Suzuki from Suzuki-sensei.

2 ) Because he was always here for her, even when she never saw it (and because I don’t like the cliché “first love always win, even when he’s never here”) : Taichi x Chihaya from Chihayafuru. Because they broke my heart  : Katsuya x Kyoko from Fruit Basket.

1 ) Because she made him experience love and he made her forgive love : Ren x Kyoko from Skip Beat. Because she protected him against everything, and because he will always makes her smile : Kyo x Tohru from Fruit Basket. 

3 ) Because I don’t know why they were fighting for a girl, when they were obviously much more into each other : Dong Soo X Yeo from Warrior Baek Dong Soo. Because it wasn’t a problem of timing : Taek x Duk Seon from Reply 1988.

2 ) Because I will never understand this drama ending : Tae Kwang x Eun Bi from School 2015. Because they are realistically perfect : Joon Hyeong x Bok Joo from Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.

Currently reading: A lot of things. But right now, the book on my floor is the second book of La Passe-Miroir serie : Les Disparus Du Clairdelune (seems like an english traduction is ongoing). And the manga on my bed is the second book  of To Your Eternity.

I prefer Nozaki x Sakura and Mikorin x Mayu, but Sakura and Mikorin have such a great dynamic that I can completely understand why people ship them and the fanart is super adorable~ :D

You know what I’m in a kpop mood and it’s midterms so my brain is fried so we’re doing

CAN THE GSNK SQUAD DO KPOP DANCES?

Nozaki: Okay you’d think no bc he’s super awkward and a big guy but he was an athlete and he’s able to follow basic directions so I’m gonna say yes. Can’t do girl groups for the life of him though. He only knows power. No grace. Just power. Like Monsta X but just all power

Chiyo: She gets shy and she’s in general a kinda clumsy person so I’m gonna go with no. She could maybe do like point choreo for like Signal or VeryVeryVery but she’s not coordinated

Mikorin: CAN he? Yes but mostly from just practicing. Upside he’s good. Downside he can pretty much only do cute girl group dances and he haaaates it. Knows every SNSD choreo by heart. Is decent at cute concept boy groups(Get Cool, Naughty Boy, etc) but he cannot so sexy at ALL. It’s nerves if he tried maybe he could but he cringes too hard to even try

Seo: Bold of you to assume she gives a shit. Her party trick is doing Sorry Sorry though because she learned it out of SPITE.

Wakamatsu: Think Nozaki but less confidence. He can follow instructions and do moves but he’s not really a dancer. He’s more fluid than Nozaki though. Y’all know Eunwoo from Astro? He’s like that

Hori:....now I love Hori. But like. Hori can’t dance for SHIT. Like he tries he tries so hard. He’s got the facials and the swag you’d think he’d kill it but hoooo he’s bad. Nobody’s really sure why. Don’t make him dance it’s embarrassing for everyone involved. He does sing along to the songs though bc his voice is pretty good

Kashima: The awful singing got exchanged for hella good dance moves. She’s just naturally good at dancing which everyone finds hilarious bc she’s so gangly and goofy. The vibe is 100% Miya from GWSN

Bonus Mayu: He’s hella good at dancing he’s just lazy af. Show him a dance and he can learn it in like under 20 minutes but he’s so low energy like he’s moving the minimum amount.

Do y'all think tsubaki-sensei considers mikomayu ~as canon~ as the other ships still? Idk what sort of editorial restrictions would be placed if she actively wants to make them one of the main pairings, but I feel like considering Seo's reaction to missing Waka was placed right next to Mikoto's reaction we miiiight be headed there?

i don’t think she’s as invested in developing it, but i could be wrong. there’s a lot of potential in the mayumayu x mamiko situation and if she ever decides on an identity reveal, i think it could go either way. also, a lot of the humor in mayumiko chapters comes from their weird personality quirks, not “haha gayyy” so that’s also a good sign? i’ve seen actual girls love manga (adachi to shimamura) on gangan online before so i imagine mayumiko would not be impossible from an editorial perspective.

however, she did also have that question on that 5th anniversary survey about whether mikorin should get a girl as a partner. the responses were, in order of most votes to least:

1. nah, he’s better off alone;2. he’s got mayu! (for merch);3. he’s pitiful so please give him someone;4. he’s got tanuki! (for merch)

so there’s potential, but i don’t really know what to expect from tsubaki-sensei.
