I am Glad the anime (for now) acts like they were never apart/Ingo never grew old without Emmet. Just keep doing that, please. Keep acting like it never happened forever. It's just such a bummer, WTF-ass, goes-nowhere subplot (hugely implied to only exist in the 1st place because "Nobori" is a mountain-climbing pun & he was marginally more popular than Emmet at the time of the poll. Like, we all know this.) I mean, 'nother controversial onion, but I really hope very little time is spent *fixing/resolving* this and wayway more time just having The Lads together, if we are to get any more media involving them in the future. Also, part of their appeal is that they are twins. Two of them. You run into them on your pokejourney and they're this weird, fascinating unit. Do Not Separate. My bro has played half the games and I've been watching the anime on & off since childhood, and the 1st time I saw those two, I was in High School ('course, I wasn't in the fandom back then, but I remembered them.) They Stay culturally relevant.
