For one, he's married

I LVOE Chilchuck as much as the next person, and I want him to leave his wife for me, but it's clear that he still loves her in some capacity

Even if they're more than likely to separate or he's already gotten over her there's going to be a place for her in his heart

Plus, he's incredibly strict about keeping things professional

I used to say dazai because of the whole double-personality, depressed but goofy bla bla bla thing (i'm not like other girlzzz😋😋), but as I mentioned, I feel like they're opposites in their emotions. Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, hands down. I've read it in three languages multiple times each, in terms of fiction there are so many nice books I've read but the thing about Don Quixote is that you get it all in one. The book is long and it's got romance action philosophy humour you name it. It's from like Shakespearean era so it has some funky vocabulary but it's so so good. Plot in a nutshell is that a man spends so much time reading chivalry novels that he becomes delusional and thinks that he IS a knight and goes on adventures which have their own subplots. I rewatched An Unexpected Journey last night and I’ve never noticed just how entertained Elrond seems throughout the entire Rivendell section. Did he NEED to immediately surround the dwarves with his guards? No. Did he NEED to respond to insult with politeness in a language they don’t understand? No. But he is, and you can see him almost smirking about it.

 either use it to find work in the museums world (or in like culture in general) or to pursue either a second masters or a phd mayhaps.....not 100% sure yet

10. What surprised you the most about university?

how easier it felt compared to high school in certain aspects! not saying that uni is easy, but as someone who struggles with attention in class and with intense procrastination, getting to have classes that genuinely interest me made it a bit easier.

14. What is your favourite professor like?

HAHA thank you for asking me this one anon.....ok cringe time.....Fav Prof™️ teaches a lot of classes about modern and contemporary art, but his main focus is contemporary art (mostly photography). I really like his classes because he’s into topics im really into as well, and his approach is more ‘visual culture’ oriented, which i really like. he seems to really like foucault and performance theory (kin). he teaches in a relatively classic way, but always makes us write essays and Think, which is something not all my profs do. his classes brought me a lot of cool things (berlin trip last year, getting to explore cool academic niches, getting to be published and work on the exhibition, and other cool stuff to come). he’s also the first prof i came out to, and he’s always been very kind and supportive to me. he’s also, ahem, very cute. im so gay for him. he’s tall, has an adorable german accent, grey hair and blue eyes. too bad he’s married to a woman 😔

36. How did your attitude towards studying and school change between high school and university?

uhhhh.....thats a though one. ive always thought that school and uni, ‘academic success’, idk what to call it, is often held in too high regards, esp in uni educated circles. that attitude i had in high school didnt change when i got into uni.

as for the studying and school as activities, i always hated studying (i never really study anyway, i just read my notes once or twice, make lil cards if i have time, and thats it). i liked my high school when i was in it, but since ive graduated i realized how wrong a lot of things were there (it was quite an elitist school, im glad i didnt become too much of a snob after being into that kind of environment skdfdjs), and i grew more critical of the school system in general.

42. What has been your favourite thing about university so far?

getting to study what i like, definitely. not having to do maths anymore. no more pe. and all the great people ive met!!
