I sketched my thoughts about(historically accurate) boy king Seb! Thoughts? :D

I apologize for how incredibly specific and niche this is, but aahhhh whenever people call rbr Seb a "boy king", I can literally only think about this statuette:

1. Because I think it gives the same angelic but mischievous vibe as Seb

2. Because it is a statue of a literal boy king

3. The ringlets and big eyes.....

the other day i talked about a hanbin idea where he owned a cafe or so matbe i can put him as the lead 🤔

also i bleached my hair (or i'm in the process of bc i have dark hair and it takes a feq sessions). i did the bottom/back part, like the peekaboo kind. i was debating if i should do my whole head but idk if it would fit my skintone. might dye it red or mix it with silver hmmm

My hair's so dark brown that it's black if you squint. I've only ever dyed my hair once and it was light blue while I was in high school. With my career choice, I'll probably never be able to dye it again but maybe I'll get pretty wigs 😔😔

I want to share my thoughts on the last four dolls, in a bit more detail. So my brain doesn't lump them all together; sees the goods and bads.

1. Dark Purple / Red: As a stand alone doll, I like this one best. She's pretty. She'd be a great character for acting, and she feels deep. But... not very fashionable, or stand out. Her face pops, her hair is nice... a little similar to Olivia's though, but with clips. It still looks nice. Clothes look like... clothes I would wear. Which I like. It's just fashionable enough for her to be that mature friend. But not fashionable enough for a cutting edge rainbow high stunt. Very basic and simple. Good shades. Easier to look at, pretty but adult. Very chill. Which... I do like that in the end. I could imagine buying her.

2. Pink: Why are there so many mismatched shades of pink? It's not fashionable. It's clashy and hurts my eyes a little. I don't want to process it. Her face is really hard to get used to. To me, this is Mara Pinkette... but, with a weird face. I do like those accessories though. Would I buy this doll just for those cat ear headphones? Well... it's not really my shade of pink, and honestly her face just looks haunting to me. I don't care what fashion they got this from irl. Those sleeves don't match the dress don't match the hair. And I find that a bit insulting, tbh. Stop wasting my time, lol 😂. Though the hair texture is nice... I'd wait for the next line. This look is not for me.

3. Very Cherry (blossom) Red: I like the hair. Gives me winx stella season 1 4kids dub vibes. But her face isn't popping out much. Can barely tell the colour of her eyes, they're so dark around the iris. Her eyebrows barely help. There is so little of them, I wonder what they're doing there. And it makes her white skin really overwhelming. Great for a monster high vibe but her clothing isn't giving. It's so plain and boring. That big fluffy embroydered jacket isn't hiding how plain the dress underneath looks. And where are her accessories? Boots are fine though, ig... I'd be more likely to buy her than the pink one. She is cute! Just... lame. Maybe with a custom outfit she'd do better, maybe 🤔

4. Lilac Lavender Purple girl: It looks like they tried to add too many gothic fairy tale elements together... not my cup of tea. Why is her hat spikey? Her neck looks almost too long too, tbh. Idk why. I think they need some kind of waist belt for her, I think the bra-top disappears too quickly and it really does my head in? Looks weird and funky. Hair looks more like a wig than anything. It's the same colour as a bed sheet, and it's long like one too. Love the story behind whatever magazine she has though. That magazine gives me mermaid vibes! (UwU), Her face is comforting and friendly but between the hat, the scarf like hair around the long neck... I barely get to the glasses before I forget her eye colour. I'd buy her if she was a little on sale though. She's fine enough. Sweet looking. Maybe missing some nice black gothic mesh overlay on the skirt, sleeves and bodice maybe. She gives me draculora vibes, if she was a fairy or fairy godmother or purple genie or something, and a little more submissive. But she's also giving me borderline rita skeeta vibes (or whatever that reporter is from Harry Potter and the triwizard cup)

How are we feeling about this new direction Rainbow High/Shadow High is going in? They’re certainly becoming less distinct from one another, I like the diverse accessories though, they really add to the personality of the characters, but at the same time the overall designs feel very safe and look a lot like every other doll line
