my life feels so empty now that i am no longer reading the homeric hymn to demeter... it brought me such joy... such beautiful greek... so many cool women helping and supporting each other...

#mine #im currently doing a twiceweekly plato reading group #and also reading (not really reading just looking at the words) some herodotus as a research assistant #ie i am now immersed in prose hell #maybe when i got demeter as my professor-assigned-kin... she was onto something there. not a coincidence #okay guys demeter is the goddess of women loving and supporting each other you heard it here first
