☠ What does someone have to do for an instant unfollow from you? Disrespect. I don't want you on my friends list if you’re disrespectful and don't accept my boundaries.
I’m the type of person who believes communication is key, so I always try to communicate first.
Also, when I consider unfollowing, it’s when I follow someone, leave a comment, send prompts to their inbox, react to their open starter, and they still ignore me even though they’re online every day with hundred ooc posts. Why did you even add me? If you’re busy, that’s okay, but at least out of courtesy, you could reply and let me know. This has happened to me three times here on Tumblr, and I gave each account about five months to respond to my message, checking if everything was okay. When they didn’t, unfollow. I’m not a follower collector. Sorry.
❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you?
For me, the whole fandom ruined Tsuna many years ago. From roleplays where he was portrayed as a weak uke, to perverted fanart, and even perverted doujinshi (some of them causing me trauma (O_O)). No, hell no. Tsuna deserves better.
❀ What has made you completely lose your chill?
I always get angry when someone tries to influence others on topics like what is appropriate to roleplay and what is not. We can find sooo many posts about what is right and what is not. Nowadays, roleplayers feel under pressure because of this. What will others think when they come up with something different from what others expect? Where is freedom for creativity? I'm not talking about illegal things like pedophilia and such; that's understandable. No roleplayer is in a position to dictate what is appropriate or not; it's just their subjective opinion, which you may or may not agree with. We are all equal after all. So please, don’t spread hate when you see something you personally don’t like or wouldn’t roleplay. Just ignore it.

Most disliked arc (chapter)? Why?
The saltiest cracker you know is me, Bepsi!10. Most disliked arc (in this case, chapter)? Why?
I bet you saw this shit comin a mile away huh?
Chapter 2.
Now, it might surprise you, but Hoshi dying isn’t even the worst part of the chapter for me. That’s more emotionally gut punching me and my hopes and dreams that joke characters can live past chapter 3. Actually, Hoshi is without a doubt the BEST part of Chapter 2 even with his death, just because of how amazingly he’s written.
Sadly, even Hoshi cannot save this chapter from showing just how RUSHED and UNPOLISHED it is. Because holy jeEZ THERE’S A LOT WRONG (albeit it’s personal opinion for the most part). So while you may know them, or may learn something new from my opinion, that’s all cool! Under the cut as Chapter 2 is dissected and torn into to learn why it is sadly, my least fav of V3.
- RUSHED.
Now, this is really easy to see, and I’m sure many others have noticed it as well, but it bears a lot of repeating because it’s a problem. Chapter 2 was rushed to high heavens, in the sense that it mainly serves to push the plot along and nothing more. Things happen too quickly in the story at that point, and while the rest of the game is better off for it, this is the ONLY chapter that REALLY does it so blatantly, and it feels very choking as a result of it.- Tenko’s attachment to Himiko needed to happen, absolutely, but I feel like more should have been done in Chapter 1 to show Tenko trying to talk to her more? Maybe, “OOO maybe himiko wants to be my friend??” and more interactions that show that Tenko isn’t just attaching herself to Himiko b/c she’s “the creepy gay” character. - Toujou becoming the fucking supermaid. This one is the most obvious, but mmm. Everyone relying on her suddenly feels super forced, as characters like Shinguuji and Hoshi and even Maki herself, all ask Toujou to do something for them. It feels out of character for them, and the fact that THAT interaction is the MOST she gets in Chapter 2 before the trial is fucking trash and I’ll explain why in a later point, but you can just TELL that they needed SOMETHING to give her ANY story relevance, and it hurts her character a LOT. - Kaito suddenly wanting to help Maki’s super fucking weird. Maybe if it showed Kaito like “sorry Shuichi maybe later, I wanna try talking to Maki” more in this Chapter to really see that he wants to help her, or even just him going more like “hey Shuichi wanna include Maki in our training? I feel like she could use it.” or ANYTHING that mentions Kaito reaching out to Maki more. Because as it is now, it feels like he’s suddenly placing an all or nothing bet and it makes him, p unlikable at that point b/c Shuichi just goes with it for seemingly no reason because “yeah I guess i gotta progress the plot”. - Those are the main points. Maki is done surprisingly well, actually, she’s really good here. Being sus like that and actually not letting you do FTE’s was cool, and i liked it a lot. Angie’s slow buildup was also pretty good as well, but I think they coulda put Tsumugi in w/ Himiko at some point so it’s not ‘suddenly everyone’s brainwashed!’ in chapter 3, as a slower buildup would do it good! Or at least, more buildup, I should say.
- CLUNKY.
This one is a bit harder to explain, and it goes in hand with the pacing issue, but lemme try. Some of the events and dialogue in Chapter 2 just feel, really clunky? Like, Shuichi’s an emotional guy and I totally understand that, but I don’t think he’d just spill his feelings to the guy that punched him for showing weakness not even 2 days ago? I dunno, maybe it’s just me. It feels like a lot of Chapter 2 was glued into the story as requirements rather than actually to tell a story. It comes in a lot of ways, as previously mentioned a lot of relationships are just ‘suddenly there’ rather than actually built up, IE Kaito and Maki, Tenko and Himiko, etc... and it makes the entire Chapter feel like it’s meshed together with ideas that Kodaka REALLY wanted to be in the game or knew would happen later on, but just couldn’t fit them in, so he shoved them in an early chapter and hoped for the best.
- TOUJOU’S ABILITY TO DO JACK DIDDLY SHIT IN TERMS OF STORY.
Somehow, they managed to make one of the stars of this chapter barely active in it. Can you fucking believe that? Like, no really, if you work off of fan translations I want you to open the translation you have, hit CONTROL+F and search for Toujou and see like, the 30 lines she has before the trial. It’s so MINIMAL, it’s so BASIC, and in those 30 sentences she’s treated like a PLOT DEVICE rather than a CHARACTER. I’m sure a bit of the reason as to why Toujou isn’t as popular as most of the other girls is just how hard the Chapter hits her in terms of not giving her any character development (even in the bonus interaction she’s just “i do this for my job” for fucc sake). Like, even if it was played for a laugh that she’s just so constantly work-focused, or the writing took it as a bit of a punchline for some dry humor (”hey toujou what’re ya doin?” “working.” and just have awkward eye contact and the ‘WOW this is awkward’ thought in Shuichi’s head after a few “...” between the both of them as it happens. easy comedy. see???) it at least would make her seem somewhat important compared to the cast. Honestly, it’s like the Tsumugi Effect but in 2 chapters instead of 6. By doing nothing in terms of plot, she basically puts on this huge fucking sign that says “HEY GUYS IM NOT STORY RELEVANT BECAUSE NOTHING IS HAPPENING TO ME SO I WILL PROBABLY DIE AS A KILLER OR VICTIM” Her trial behavior is really hit or miss as well, because some might find her ruthlessness to be really cool and makes her actually fucking interesting at any point in the story, while others might find it unlikable, excessively cruel, or just out of character for Toujou no matter how desperate she may be. Let alone that her US demographic prolly tanked quite a lot w/ her story focusing on POLITICS of all things (one of the three no-no’s in any conversation), making her very very hard to like, besides on an aesthetic level. Let alone her FTE’s are the worst in the game, as you still barely learn anything about her outside of “im a maid and im good at my job” or other points that the main story already tells you (besides that she once coddled a man so hard he became dependent and that her only weakness is not cutting konjac right ever). It just makes her feel like a barren and incomplete character.
- TOUJOU’S ABILITY TO DO EVERYTHING SO WELL SHE CAN EVEN FUCK HERSELF OVER AMAZINGLY.
Everyone has heard me go on and on about this, but if it doesn’t get said no one will know it so I keep repeating it until the end of time.By making her plan so complex, she basically fucks herself. By making a crime that only someone as competent as her could accomplish, it fucks her because only she can do it. XD. Literally, who do you think would have been able to do all that shit in one night? Saihara’s too weak to drown Hoshi. Don’t fight me on this, because if you seriously believe the detective in training with little self defense training (he worked on infidelity and missing pet/kid cases for fuck sake, his life isn’t really on the line all that often so he prolly wouldn’t know or have to train all that much to protect himself) can take the tennis player that killed over 200 people and has been playing tennis basically all his life (enough to go INTERNATIONAL in MIDDLE SCHOOL) in a fight, we’re gunna need to have a talk.Gonta’s too heavy to use the ropeway.Kiibo’s too heavy to use the ropeway and too weak to carry Hoshi’s body.Himiko’s too weak to drown someone and attempt to shove them in the staircase (which I will touch on real soon here on why even attempting to frame her the way Toujou tried to was dumb as shit).Angie’s... lbr here, prolly missing a few too many tools in her toolbox to really think of a ropeway to kill Hoshi with.Shinguuji’s too weak (and before I get arguments on this, if u think this underweight twig of a man can take out Hoshi when Hoshi’s prolly faster than him and could just run ur wrong)Maki who was the Child Caregiver at the time would be seen as too weak to do anything to Hoshi too (even if she lifts kids, again, Hoshi is fucking rIPPED and has killer legs)Ouma’s too weak (i mean he’s underweight and looks like a twig)Kaito’s a fucking moron when it comes to master plans and wouldn’t have been able to plain something like a ropeway murder (let alone his idol complex wouldn’t have let him kill Hoshi most likely... unless it was a Mondo situation but that’s a later talk)Tenko’s also a fucking moron when it comes to long term planning let alone she wouldn’t touch a man unless to flip him to death, which makes the ropeway seem almost pointlessTsumugi’s too weak to (i mean... rlly. u rlly think she could take him down? under the assumption she isn’t the mastermind ofc at this point in the story, but even then sneak murdering all the kills seems kinda.... eh? too hard for her to do.) Miu’s also a fucking moron that wouldn’t think of using a ropeway (actually, she prolly woulda done the smarter option and just pushed Hoshi’s body out his fucking window since a ropeway would be too much effort)By process of COMMON SENSE, only Toujou would make something so NEEDLESSLY COMPLICATED in an attempt to murder a guy.
- THE DUMBEST PLAN ON EARTH AND HOW YOU COULD PLAN A SIMILAR MURDER AND GET AWAY WITH IT EASY.
Toujou’s plan is fucking dumb when you can think of SO many other ways to get Hoshi killed with more leeway as to who coulda done it. So I bring up the window in his lab, because literally you could just push him out of it and the fall would prolly splatter that midget cunt on the ground no problem. Hell, even handcuff him. Nearly anyone could have pushed Hoshi out of the window, meaning there’s a possibility that Maki or Kaito could have done it w/o that stupid fucking ropeway let alone anyone at night (or hell even during the DAY since time of death was obscured), and it wouldn’t LEAVE THE FUCKING GLOVE.MMMM OKAY RANT HERE REAL QUICK I MEAN IT THAT FUCKING TRASH BAG GLOVE IRRITATES ME. Like, hhh I know Kodaka wanted to make a case where something like the glove gets the killer caught, but HOLY SHIT was it poor to use in a case like this. It not only feels like it’s out of place for her not to just get it in the morning, but why the fuck would she use her gloves anyways?? Why not use Hoshi’s hat? Anyone could use Hoshi’s hat as hand protection down the moronic ropeway and since it’s a beanie it’s prolly made of more strong material than I guess whatever her shit gloves are made of, since they tore like fuckin trash when she went down the ropeway. As someone that wears cut and heat protection gloves because of my job, the gloves she uses are HORRIBLY inefficient (let alone if she’s cleaning before touching food w/ them on... like please don’t that can cause so many health problems) to try and stop ropeburn. She could have also just poisoned everyone, or killed them all in their sleep, to make her job easier on herself. Can’t have a trial if no one’s there after all right? No one would suspect Toujou working on her fuckin job to come and snap their necks during the night or w/e, or poison their food before the show. But also framing Himiko is really fucking dumb. Like, she expects me to believe that Himiko, who is only 2 more pounds than Hoshi mind you, managed to drown him and stuff him in that staircase, and pull him out during the show in under a minute. LOL no. Hoshi looks like he can break her arms like fucking toothpicks without even trying?? Let alone her laziness makes it look REALLY hard for her to have planned a fucking murder. The fact that like, the first hour of the trial wants me to believe Himiko could be the killer is asinine, just because of how basically fucking illogical it is.What Toujou could have done instead, was leave his body drowned in the sink. Yeah, it’d be harder because not everyone can drown Hoshi (ie. Himiko and Ouma and prolly a few others that are considered sticks or weak), but there are a lot of people who could, and drowning someone is a lot easier than the stupid ropeway piranha bullshit. OR PUSH HIM OUT HIS WINDOW. JUST KILL EVERYONE THAT WAY COME ON.Actually, she coulda killed two people easy. Just have someone gullible like Saihara come to meet her at night in the lab after she’s already pushed Hoshi out the window (or even just come running to his room with a bullshit excuse that she saw a shadow ‘running away’ and saw that something happened in the tennis lab) and push him out the window too. Boom, makes it look like a murder gone wrong, and the only alibi that’d be able to testify about the events is hers. Easy win, everyone else gets executed.I get it, in the end, it needs to be a solvable mystery in a mystery game, but it ends up making Toujou look like a complete moron as a result of it, which is unfortunate.
- MOTIVE VIDEOS ARE RIGGED AS SHIT.
Upon learning what hers and Hoshi’s are, it seems almost rigged that they would have to be the killer and victim respectively. Hoshi’s telling him to ‘kys’ and Toujou’s saying ‘lol go kill someone’ makes it like... even if everyone else saw theirs that they’d be like.. the only two to really act on theirs besides MAYBE Miu or POSSIBLY Angie. And then we also see Ouma’s?? And his is just actively “lol u don’t kill bitch but u should do it anyways” making it seem almost counter productive. Like, bitch it just said Ouma made a rule that no killing was a thing and u genuinely expect his ass to break that? ha. The odds were stacked against the two of them, which makes it only seem more forced in the long run. Which is great from a meta standpoint, but a story can be meta while still being fun, enjoyable, and flowing functionally and logically. Which this chapter isn’t really.
- THE SADLY NOT REDEEMING BUT STILL SUPER GOOD HOSHI FACTOR.
Now, the one thing that I can praise this chapter for really well despite all its shortcomings is Hoshi’s characterization and his story. For one chapter he really makes a hard hit at the time, and it’s easy to become engrossed in his little background story about him wanting to find a reason to live. The real cherry on top is his writing and his interactions with the few people he interacts with. with Kaito, it really shows the disposition that Kaito has against him and just how Hoshi is so understanding of others and like... nice. Even when he wants a goal that goes against everyone, he still respects them. “I won’t do something reckless to endanger everyone.”, and acknowledging that it’s an entirely selfish reason why he wants to find the videos and will still not hurt anyone to do it. He may have threatened to show Maki’s video to everyone in exchange for his own from her, but he never hits her or directly harms / threatens her w/ violence or anything extremely dirty. It’s respectable. Ohhh, and Saihara’s dynamic with him is just so sPOT ON HERE. Between the great advice and compliments in general he has for Saihara such as “the world can be bright for someone that’s looked down for so long, be careful” and “you’re confident compared to before, like a weight is lifted off your back. it’s a good look for you” and other such flattery, to Hoshi being a bit more open to Saihara about his feelings (feeling jealous about everyone else having a reason to live, wanting to find one himself, openly admitting he feels he has no purpose in his life and wants to find a reason to be happy like everyone else, etc.). But this dynamic goes both ways, as Saihara also can read Hoshi super fucking well. Like, seeing the Tennis Lab is a great example of it. When Hoshi states the past is behind him, Saihara thinks to himself ‘but then why are you looking at the court with such sad eyes Hoshi-kun?’ and it’s like, just really nice that Saihara’s not dense? Like, Hoshi expresses himself pretty poetically, with the way he talks and whatnot, acting like a wise sage type w/ endless wisdom all the time, so Saihara being able to read past all the flowery language to just hear “god i miss tennis” or “im depressed” is really REALLY refreshing, and a nice balance to see. If you do Hoshi’s FTE’s it personally makes it even better, but that’s not a requirement so moving on. Even just Saihara asking him things like “are you doing well?” or “Is this what you want?” or “or just the small but surprisingly deep talks they just seem to have with one another are tiny details that really complete the dynamic that they can both read each other and can react to one another super well. It feels balanced between the both of them, even in Chapter 1, and it’s a shame Hoshi had to die because I would have LOVED to see how far it could go and how much it could have been expanded on in the later chapters.
Sadly however, no matter how great Hoshi is, it can’t save Chappie 2 from it’s endless faults and gripes that I have with it, that ultimately make the story less entertaining as a result.

having seen Rogue One again, i think...i like jyn better now?
major spoilers ahead
again, maybe i’m just a screwball of emotions bc of changing medications and being a complete sucker for genuine familial affection, but i was so close to tears during jyn and galen’s interactions (i count the hologram shhhhh), and i was searching for a meaning behind her inclusion beyond “father/daughter storyline bc star wars is about family”
a couple weeks ago it was brought to my attention that, with some very minor tweaking, Jyn’s character arc could have been given to Bodhi Rook and it would have worked out more or less the same. I chewed over that for a while, and realized they were right: both have an emotional connection to Galen Erso, and Bodhi’s delivery of the hologram could have won Saw Gerrera over if Jyn was never a factor; Bodhi could have been the Imperial pilot no one trusted, the person who lost everything only to find himself and find what he believed in was worth it, Bodhi could have developed the stronger bond with Cassian and Chirrut and Baze and K2, and all of that would take some very minor doctoring of the plot and script.
However...I realized Jyn’s utility as an extra body and as a storytelling mechanism were both valuable to the Rogue One experience.
For one thing, at Scarif, the way the plan shook out, Rogue One had just enough people to pull off the heist: commanders for the ground troops (bc yeah RIGHT you’re gonna separate Chirrut and Baze, and someone from the main cast needed to be with the rebel soldiers to guide them and give them more emotional relevance than just good people dying for a good cause; K2 couldn’t have done it, Cassian could have but he needed to be with K2 fetching the plans, Bodhi definitely couldn’t have); the getaway driver (Bodhi, obviously, and a tech guy to patch into the radio frequencies of the Alliance and relay the Very Important Message of GET THE FORCEFIELD DOWN, WE SENDING U A PRESENT, which couldn’t have been done from anywhere but the launch pads due to Security); the point man (Cassian, cool under pressure with a commanding air who can blend in); the hacker (K2, the saltiest droid in the galaxy and new robotic love of my life, but more importantly excellent cover as an imperial droid); and the informant (Jyn). Bodhi could have taken on Jyn’s emotional role, but unless the plot variance also allowed him to see the hologram, and have a better knowledge of Galen Erso somehow, Bodhi couldn’t have known the Death Star plans’ code name (which, without Jyn, could have been anything), or even have passed on that the Death Star had a weakness at all. I very much doubt even in a world where Jyn doesn’t exist, Saw would have let Bodhi see the hologram, or that Bodhi would have taken a peek at something Galen probably told him not to look through, just deliver.
And as we’ve seen in the Star Wars universe, three is the best number of people to have in a small elite squad accomplishing the impossible, three people watching each other’s backs and bringing different skill sets to the table. K-2SO is necessary for hacking into the Citadel’s computers, Cassian’s role as an intelligence agent and skill at blending into whatever situation he’s in will carry them through the Citadel, and Jyn counts as both another good fighter and the extra person who could carry on the mission should her teammates be killed or incapacitated. Jyn’s presence is insurance. They needed a third person anyway, and since the plot made it so Jyn has a personal connection with the architect of the Death Star, her inclusion is just kind of necessary. Bodhi, bless him, is too nervous in-person, with good reason. He’s endured torture and deception and being shot at all within the span of a few days, and as the Galaxy equivalent of a truck driver and mechanic…that’s a lot. Bodhi defected because he’s a good person who knows what the Empire does isn’t right, but that doesn’t make him a fighter. That doesn’t make him someone who is equipped to deal with an infiltration mission. He did admirably in several war zones, but the man has no poker face, not even over radio (unless he has time to compose himself and get his story down straight, like at the shield gate on Scarif. Please also note that once he has a script to follow, he’ll stick to the script, even if he stumbles through it). Chirrut and Baze stick out too much, so they couldn’t have been part of the reconnaissance squad without abandoning weapons (and I dare you to tear Baze away from his epic collection of guns. I dare you). Jyn, however, is small, Jyn is light, Jyn has been in war zones and battles and fights since she was a child—Jyn is a fighter, raised to be a rebel soldier and then fending for herself. The Rogue One crew probably couldn’t have gotten along without her, even in her capacity as a fighter rather than an informant.
Her narrative arc is pretty good, as well, although thinking about it, it’s similar to Han Solo: disillusioned youth cares more about survival than about The Cause, until something hits close to home and they are forced to care (Jyn loses her father again, Han makes friends). Like Han and Leia, Jyn and Cassian play off each other narratively pretty well, the rebel without a cause or loyalty clashing with the rebel with a cause and strong belief in that cause. Cassian is downright fascinating, a good man with dirty hands, a killer with “the face of a friend”, a man who sheds light on the grim realities of warfare, what it does to people, what it makes people do even on the “good” side. And Cassian has absolutely no qualms about calling Jyn out on her hypocrisy, which is delicious, because unlike Han and Leia, Jyn and Cassian’s interactions are bitter with their clashing ideologies and not dissimilar life experiences, Jyn’s surprising naivete and Cassian’s weary determination. They don’t bicker. They ARGUE, and it’s a hard anger behind their motivations, dual worldly cynicism with very different outlets. Jyn and Cassian’s distrust is as palpable as Han and Leia’s sexual tension. But it’s a connection, a strong emotional bond that turns to kinship as the Rogue One crew fully assembles, and at least for me the actors had pretty good chemistry, anyway.
I wish the movie either had more time or better writing to devote to developing Jyn and Cassian’s relationship, because to me Cassian’s heart attacks about Jyn’s safety on Jeddha and especially Edu are sudden, but the spiritual callback to Han and Leia is familiar, at least, if not heartwarming. But Rogue One is like that: it’s Star Wars, but darker, grittier, more human, a love letter to all the stories buried in the Star Wars universe, the hard truths under the fantastical plotlines.
I love Rogue One, and I’m happy to add Jyn Erso to the “like” roster, because the movie is so much more enjoyable when you don’t let her presence and character arc spoil everything XD

2016 in review for me
Every new year i try to sum up/ reflect on the past year. Even though I never go back to read these lolololol
January-March: I (think/ p sure) I was at the height of a really bad friendship at the time/ roommate relationship that was v. much negatively affecting my happiness, pledging was SUCH A FUCKING BITCH omg. These months were not the greatest for me. Also my art history senior seminar was killing me and reminding me of the panic attacks I had my sophomore year. I definitely started having more during this time. HOWEVER my last semester in undergrad also started so the senior nostalgia/ job hunt was hitting me hard. I caught up with a lot of good people and got really close to one of my current close friends (lookin at you Cole) while also drifting from some of my closest freshman year friends. Also after pledging was over, March was a relative breeze and I got to enjoy at least the social aspect of my senior year. My... tiff? with Dr. Brine MIGHT’VE been during this time but I’m not sure.
April-May: Pretty much summed up with senior feels. To be honest I was pretty drunk for these 2 months leading up to graduation since pledging and all that was over XD It was either March or April that I made a....less than favorable drunk decision with the wrong person which low key followed me, at least mentally for the next few months. I was officially deinitiated from my sorority, willed down (throwback to waking up drunk after apotheosis for wills and being THAT senior), and got closure for the most part in everything. Job stress had started piling up but hadn’t quite bubbled up yet. I graduated with my closest friends, and felt incredibly at peace with my Classics department, though I also completed my Art History degree with a bad taste in my mouth. Continued roommate drama that got worse but at least I had other outlets/ was distracted from graduating. These two months were A LOT of emotion and nostalgia. At this point I had thought I was leaving for New York as soon as I got an offer so every goodbye felt so final and scary. I also moved into a new house with people that I arguably didn’t know that well/ didn’t have the greatest rapport with, which luckily ended up turning out to be a good match and early roommate bliss. I also made up with my dad when I reached out to him to come to graduation and my mother and I reached a point of understanding and seeing each other on a relatively same page.
June-August: My mother got married, and I brought one of my best friends wit me to go to her wedding. SO much job angst, heightened anxiety, and I think I experienced depression for the first time and had some unpleasant thoughts enter in my head that I’m still trying to work through tbh. I put immense pressure on myself to find a permanent job and even a part time job after having wasted a good chunk of my graduation money derping. I got SO CLOSE to landing a job in Houston and being around some of my best and closest friends and the rejection hit me extremely hard. Prior to that however, I went to Houston to see the Kusama exhibit and fell hard for Cy Twombly and had a renewed sense of love and interest for contemporary art (that I’m still trying to ride out). Overall not a great time for me. Oh and I cut out meat again (woohoo) and got a tattoo (aww yeah).
September-December: I got a part time job at Nordstrom Rack, after getting fired/ quitting my terrible summer waitressing job AND LOSING MY GOOFY SKIRT IN AUGUST (so angry), which mellowed me out and that, combined with podcasts and my favorite and eternally amazing girl group that I formed sometime around this time/ prior to, helped stabilize my life. At the very least, I went from depressed and anxious all the time to bored and dissatisfied but at least i’m no longer constantly on edge. On the bright side also, during this time, I learned what it meant to be truly grateful for the people in my life. My parents have been SO much more supportive than I expected... probably because I’ve been so hard on myself as is :P, and the friends that I’ve kept have also been amazing. Since graduating, I’ve become so much more introverted/ low key salty that a lot of my friends still in San Antonio haven’t reciprocated trying to see me but I’ve also gotten to solidify and strengthen/ grow friendships that I know I’ll have for a while. I managed to lose a few pounds by really just getting healthier and cutting out meat (and sometimes cheese) and cooking more. The election also happened which.... is another thing in itself and ridiculously frightening. I HOPE 2017 will be better despite what the next four years may be with Trump as our president.
GOALS/ RESOLUTIONS/ THINGS I HOPE WILL HAPPEN
This year I want to:
1. work smarter (and harder) but waste less time and work more efficiently
2. get healthier/ eat better food, slowly cut out food that doesn’t make me feel good physically, and doesn’t make me feel guilty about eating (environmental).
3. Think before I speak
4. Take more time to acknowledge the positives/ people in my life that make me happy and get less caught up in EVERYTHING. Self care> focusing on myself. I 100% for focusing on myself and being selfish during this time but I sometimes feel like that’s also getting caught up with my impulsive nature and I’m not always making the best decisions as a result.
5. Be more forgiving, let go from past drama and move forward. I’ll always be the saltiest person ever but I want to get less caught up in anger/ pettiness.
6. Stay focused and drink more tea. :P
This year I want to accomplish:
1. Move OUT by March in whatever way possible.
2. Read 10? books. It’s not a huge number but baby steps.
3. Cut out cheese 95% and maybe some more dairy? Also I wouldn’t mind losing a couple of pounds even if I don’t weigh myself anymore
4. Go out of state or travel SOMEWHERE.
5. Keep academia in my life. I wanna go to grad school eventually so I need to remind myself why I love it.
6. ^ take the fucking GRE

(Ugh, sorry for this late reply! OTL I’ve been busy and whenever I sat down to try and write this message it would be bedtime before I’d even gotten halfway through)
If we want him to be happy the best, most plausible and canon-compliant choice is Saiko…yet Ishida’s been ignoring her ever since she told Urie she loves him ;-; #IshidaY
Correction: Ishida (like Shuu and Uta) is a picky eater. He’ll only eat human flesh that’s been steadily stewing in misery for at least a year, and the bitterest, saltiest tears are all he ever drinks.
Ishida’s eating habits being similar to Uta’s makes sense though, since he actually said he gave Uta some of his hobbies lol
Just stop hurting us, please…Ishida needs to redeem himself with Hide’s return as quickly as possible. Either that or something bad needs to happen to Furuta (if Rize somehow breaks free and eats him I’m sure at least half of the fandom would realize that they can, in fact, be satisfied).
Hmm, I was fine with Re up until this arc. Touken feels forced, shippy fluff and Mutsuki drama is getting in the way of the ACTUAL plot (even with all his trolling skills, Ishida cannot convince me that sex scenes and love triangles/squares are more important than how the Q squad is dealing with their trauma from the last battle, what Juuzou, Urie and other investigators are going to do now that they suspect Furuta is lying, how the rest of Goat is doing, what Uta and the Clowns are up to, and Furuta finding a way to, oh, I don’t know, BRING BACK THE FREAKING DEAD). It’s like Ishida has a really interesting plot in there somewhere, but he’s buried it beneath the pointless, badly timed romance.
As for Mutsuki, I used to be a bit 'meh' about them (I used to like them, and then I didn’t mind their backstory/the treatment they got at Torso’s hands simply because I got spoiled and knew it was coming from the very beginning, plus the parellels with Kaneki had me thinking they’d get a similar interesting development) but I’m starting to become more and more indifferent towards them because they just feel really flat now- a basic murder-bot, a copy of characters like Yuno Gasai. Maybe I’d sympathize with them more if their love for Sasaki/Kaneki felt a bit more genuine, but as it is, it seems lacking. It feels like we’re viewing Mutsuki from an outsider’s POV; not much about their actual feelings or thought process about the entire situation, just a bunch of crazy, yandere moments with a few
That AU…make it canon, Ishida. (jk, but seriously). I’m one of those people who won’t complain no matter how much the creators pile on the angst as long as it’s plausible angst (I’m afraid I’m a bit of a masochist when it comes to fandoms…) but I like to think of my favorite characters being happy for once ;-;
0/////0 TYSM ;-; You’re so supportive and sweet and just asdfj;lk (it’s not easy to reduce me to keyboard-smashing but I have a lot of feelings right now) <333 I’m still scared because there are two ways this could go (either I somehow get over my fear and do ok, which would probably be really good for the anxiety, or I just freeze the second I step onto the stage…which would probably make things worse) HOWEVER, for Queen Luna I shall do my best !!!! <33333 :D
But wait a sec…‘King’…
Plot Twist: I am the real One-eyed King
Also
‘Urie & Tumblr(Evans): A short story’
-Urie pretends not know what tumblr is
-Only he totally does
-It’s an addictive hole of darkness
-And Luna spends way too much time on it for his liking
-Ok, so it’s not tumblr he’s worried about, really
-It’s this guy called Evans that Luna keeps talking to
-And no, he did not just assume this person’s gender, he (ACCIDENTALLY) saw one of Luna’s messages to them calling them a ‘king’
-She never calls HIM stuff like that there’s only that stupid nickname ‘Oreo Cookie’
-Jealousy?
-N O
-That’s for the common folk like Sasaki
-Look, he’s just worried about his s/o ok
-Then one day he brings it up
-'The 'King’ thing was an inside joke of sorts’
-'Evans is a heterosexual female’
-R.I.P Urie, who must now admit that he was indeed jealous
(super awkward crack that suddenly popped into my head
And aww, I’m really so glad you enjoy the HCs ^^)
Me + a person with Shuu’s personality would be pretty hilarious if we managed to get along well. Since at first sight, I appear like this really quite and polite person who’s way too nice for their own good (sort of like an even more introverted and awkward version of Kuroneki), but with people I’m really close with I suddenly turn into Haise with all of his cringe-worthy moments- plus a little bit of dry humor and sarcasm.
Haven’t got the chance to listen to all of those yet but what little I’ve heard sounds lovely! The first three and Soldier Game are my favorites, I think :)
Give it a few weeks and I’ll probably be joining you in Idol hell…
Loki’s hair is actually as long/maybe longer than Thor’s in later movies tho XD but I’m glad Thor’s getting some love! A lot of fans just characterize him as this big blonde idiot who has no clue what he’s doing, when in fact he’s grown quite a bit since the first Thor movie, where he was a reckless, hot-blooded, proud and arrogant person who really did have no clue what he was doing…sort of like musical-verse Hamilton minus his book smart nature and power of speech (isn’t that a terrifying thought?). Never knowing when to shut up and back down, which is coincidentally one of the things that damaged his relationship with Loki- who is his opposite in almost everything.
Without spoiling too much, let’s just say:
Thor is the extrovert, Loki is the introvert. Thor relies mostly on his raw physical power to get the job done (though he’s much more diplomatic now than he was in his first movie), Loki’s power lies in his words (he IS the god of lies after all) and his cunning. Thor can sometimes be a bit thick about the emotions of those around him, Loki reads people like open books and manipulates them like puppets on a string. No matter how much Thor grows up he’ll still have a bit of his old hot-tempered, non-stop personality, while Loki usually prefers to wait for it until he’s sure of the situation.
Unfortunately, Asgard (Thor and Loki’s 'home’- though Loki doesn’t consider Asgard his home anymore) values courageous warriors over quiet scholars and sorcerers like Loki. They praise honesty and boldness; Loki’s lies and illusions make them uneasy and they see him as a coward.
Despite being a prince, Loki has spent almost his whole life being identified as simply 'Thor’s brother’. People tolerate him because he’s a prince and Thor’s Brother, 'friends’ hang out with him because he’s Thor’s Brother, few openly show that they dislike him becuase he’s Thor’s Brother. Heck, when he lands on earth during the first Avengers movie, humans immediately identify him as none other than Thor’s Brother. He’s spent his entire life in Thor’s shadow.
It’s a very Burr-Hamilton relationship, and you can’t really blame Loki for wanting to be in the room where it happens.
(Also, the daddy issues.
I mean, look at what Odin and Laufey did
(SPOILERS for first Thor movie)
What Laufey (king of the frost giants) did:
1: Abandoned Loki because he was a 'runt’
2: Didn’t just abandon him; left him outside in the freezing cold in the middle of a freaking battlefield
What Odin did:
1: He rescued Loki when Laufey abandoned him because he felt sorry for the child…and also because he was planning use him as a pawn to someday make peace with the frost giants.
2: was planning to never, ever have a decent, reasonable 'you’re adopted, but you’re just as much my child as Thor is’ conversation with Loki
3: 'Yes, frost giants are terrible, bloodthirsty creatures, they are completely irredeemable’
4: some years later- 'Am I…? 'Yes, you are also a frost giant’
5: it’s heavily implied that he, like most others, always paid more attention to Thor than Loki
6: 'FATHER! I could have done it! For you…!’ 'No, Loki.’ *lets his adoptive son FALL INTO AN ABYSS IN SPACE. Like, he literally just stands there, watching Loki let go and fall to his death (well, not actually death, but that’s what it looks like)*
6: 'Both of you were born to be kings’
Later: 'All this because Loki desires a throne…YOUR BIRTHRIGHT WAS TO DIE! As a child, cast out on a frozen rock. If I had not taken you in, perhaps you would not be here now to hate me.’
I don’t hate Odin as much as the rest of the fandom seems to, and I do think he had reasons for doing what he did, but the fact still stands that he can be a massive hypocrite (tells Loki that he can’t try to take over the earth because they are no different from humans in the end, then tells Thor he shouldn’t date a human woman and calls her a 'goat) and the things he did to Loki were just cruel.
Also, Thor, though he never wanted to hurt Loki, didn’t help. From what little we got to see in the Thor movies, it seems he also thought Loki was a bit weird for his quiet nature and interest in books and magic, usually refused to listen to anything he had to say, and just took his presence for granted most of the time so that he never realized how much Loki mattered to him until he lost him.)
Ok, so I’m trying to start the fic and I’m narrowing it down to Urie, Ken, and Shuu. I mean, the obvious choice is Urie since it seems like he’s one of your faves, but Heathers is a bit of a…graphic…story and while I’ve thrown in a bit of extra fluff IT WILL NOT BE A HAPPY FIC. So. Maybe you don’t want to see your favorite character hurt that way…
Also, because it’s HEATHERS, the story that’s set in a normal high school with absolutely no sci-fi or fantasy yet manages to be almost as dark as Black Butler, I guess I should put some warnings…
Slight yandere-ish behavior, murder, bullying, very vague mentions of self-harm and suicide (nobody actually does it or did it though), implied child abuse, sort-of-smut(scene cuts off right before anything smutty actually happens), and a ton of angst
(hint: it’s probably angstier than that thing I wrote about Viktor in a TG AU)
Is this ok with you?
Last note: Heathers and DEH both have a lot of dialogue to fill up the spaces between songs so you might want to either read the plots on wikipedia or talk with me every one or two songs so I can help explain what’s going on ^^
No worries ^^ I was a bit worried though, since I though you interpreted my ‘no new fandoms until the weekend!’ as ‘no messages until the weekend’
About the new chapter (127), has there been another time skip? Also, Shuu’s back! I’m sure you’re happy to see your hubby again (・ω<)☆ And I’m so proud of Naki ;-; My boy’s finally speaking properly.
#bringSaikoback #becauseHe’sEvilThat’sY
Wait, she confessed her love? Man, I’ve forgotten a lot of things…
Yeah, that seems about right… What a gourmet.
Mask making, then? or eating eyeballs, that also wouldn’t be so weird.
I want Hide to come back to life and become the next Jesus or something, saving absolutely everyone, because why not? I mean, he’s Hide after all. Rize eating Furuta would be enough to get me to read the manga again (I already am, tho, at least somewhat. It’s your fault)
Maybe Ishida’s trying to redeem himself by giving us all the lovey-dovey stuff? It’s a shitty redemption attempt, but still… and bringing back the dead certainly is an interesting way to advance the plot. hopefully it turns out to be a good one as well. hopefully.
i understand how/why mutsuki would fall for sasaki, but it was done in a very bad time and generally doesn’t fit with anything. id be a lot happier if they went murder crazy, but without the whole sasaki obsession. just let the guy be happy for fucks sake
You’re definitely a masochist. I mean, anyone who reads TGRe is (does that make me one as well…?). The AU is my pride and joy, the best idea I’ve ever had. I mean, just imagine it. Everyone being happy and enjoying life without suffering.
I’m sure you’ll do just fine ^^ I may not have anxiety but I do know the feeling of stage-fright. I mean, just a few weeks ago, I was at the japanese speaking contest and I still remember how badly I was shaking before, during and after my speech. I was so afraid I’d mess up… and I did! I did not understand any of the questions they asked me. Only later did I realise what they were trying to say, but in the moment, I was too scared to comprehend basically anything. However, I got through it, no matter how scared I was. So I’m sure you’ll do just as well, if not better!
All hail King Evans, the One Eyed King! Now go stop the fighting between ghouls and humans, please.
Yeah, Evans is a bit of a boyish name. My first association with it before I met you was Soul Evans, from Soul Eater, a guy. It’s also part of the reason why I was really afraid to write anything that might delude your gender, since lots of people get mad when people assume.
Jealous Urie would be one of the most hilarious things ever. He’s to awkward to admit it, which means he also doesn’t do anything about it. How fun.
But you still haven’t answered my question… Who would you pick to be your significant other from the other fandoms we share, like Kuroshitsuji, AoT or YoI? Or even the Avengers universe ;) You’re not avoiding it!
Honestly, Shuu is one of those people who get along with basically everyone, so I’m sure you’d get along with him. Besides, he’s empathetic, so he’d give everyone a chance to open up.
IDOL HELL! Join us...
Oh really? Well, I was planning on watching the first Avengers movie and the Thor movies today and tomorrow (and maybe during the next week), so I’ll definitely tell you my opinion, then ^^ But Thor has short hair in the new movie. I am definitely not satisfied =3=
The whole family has some huge issues, doesn’t it? (thor’s family)
I say Kaneki, because it’s not a happy fic and out of the three, I like him the least.
Sure, I’m fine with basically everything at this point. TG has ruined me in the darkness of itself (i don’t know what im typing anymore, don’t question me, please)
Okay, I’ll make sure to ask you about anything I don’t understand when I start listening to it ^^
