This is SO JUICY thank you! The only thing I'm not sure about is that (according to the glossary) RBs were named according to order of discovery, and Number One is specifically mentioned as having been defeated (interestingly, Number Nine is never brought up). I definitely agree that she did Something big during "that first attack" it was big enough for John to agree to "kill her" and for Augustine and Mercy to commit treason just to check whether he'd actually done it

So, how much has Augustine told Ianthe about Alecto, and is that why she doesn’t want her around?
