I'm actually surprised at the relatively low amt of homestuck fics on ao3. Was there another fic website popular in the homestuck fandom? Were fics not as popular as other forms of fanwork? Did fic authors tend to write few long fics rather than many short ones?
#s#homestuck#was looking at some ao3 stats prompted by that ao3 ship poll tournament#i was also surprised at how many fics there were in the haikyuu tag#but looking back it does kind of make sense#i certainly read many many hq fics and not that many hs ones#maybe the hs fandom was more drawn towards visual art? comics and illustrations? cosplay?#or maybe it really is just a matter of different fic websites
