I read a book in April or so that had a lot of high school style relationship drama in it and, by the time I was about half way through, I was like, "Y'know, I think that a lot of their problems would be solved very neatly by polyamory. Not all of them, mind you, but Many."
A few chapters after that, I was abruptly reminded that, wait, two of the three main characters are actually related to each other. (In my defense, they'd never really met before, and were just kind of going about things in a 'you're my new best friend whom I both resent and adore' sort of way as opposed to a 'yeah that's my relative' way.) But, y'know, in spite of that... I still think polyamory would have fixed them. they can just kiss the same guy it's fine don't worry about it. solves the curse problem
