my art summary of 2023 :3 this year was the year i started digital art (which is why the first three drawings are traditional) and im really proud of how far ive come!

please ignore the fucking pokefic blog drawing i genuinely couldn't find anything else for february

the last two drawings aren't that interesting because ive just been doing reference drawings of my ocs lately but that's OK :3

ive learned so much and while i still have a LOT to learn i think im pretty happy with how my art currently looks.. i hope i will keep improving in 2024!!

#mew.txt #mew.jpg #as you can see i haven't practiced backgrounds a lot this year #i mostly focused on characters and tried to figure out what kind of lineart and coloring i like #june doesnt count i just traced a screenshot from the sims LMFAOOO #and july august and september don't count because they feel pretty abstract #i didn't have to use perspective or anything to draw them they're fairly simple #but yeah. hmm #maybe my resolution for 2024 will be to stop being such a perfectionnist #i need to get more comfortable doing art that isn't perfect and posting it (or at least sharing it with friends)#and hopefully family #okay that's it for now #have a nice day everyone! love you
