trying to decide if derien would keep the backstory that got his eye blasted in 69th... I want to keep him disabled but I don't think that particular course of events Fits for the person he'd be in 69th vs original TTRPG lore. the problem is I think something that would harm him that badly might snap him into making better choices before the events of 69th. fundamental setting tone difference
