as always i got tagged by @quercussp and in following tradition i decided to take like 6 years to complete it

nickname/pet names: the problem with the name elizabeth is that no one has the time to say all those syllables so i get called ellie, liz, beth, eliza, elle, lizzie (i do not like lizzie), if it kinda fits into the name elizabeth i get called it

height: i answer this differently every, idk how tall i am, my hair makes it hard to measure, i’m like around 6ft tall

last movie: it was dunkirk because i am a film connoisseur and deeply enjoy the works of the auteur christopher nolan and the way the film uses both diegetic and non-diegetic sound is truly artful and its definitely not because it has harry styles in it and i like his face

last thing googled: how to spell connoiseur and auteur because do i seem like the kind of person who can spell in french?

favourite musician: like so many, i’m legally obligated to say Beyoncé, one of my fave bands is the jam, i also listen to an embarrassing amount of one direction, so many more but you don’t care

other blogs: there’s the “real account” this account is named for that i don’t use very often and i have so many sideblogs because im deeply ashamed about each of my interests and crossing the streams brings me much anxiety, i do it occasionally to like try to get used to it. 

i have an ackley bridge sideblog, a semi aesthetic one with a specific theme, it has like 5 followers 3 of which are porn bots and i love it because i can just post whatever the fuck i want free of judgement. i have a sims 4 one because i love to slow my game down with shitty custom content. my newest one is fandom blog for a dnd show that 7 people watch, we’re a fun bunch

following: at the moment business is slow so i only have two targets i’m keeping track of. my highest playing client doesn’t want his taken down until later next week so i’m just tailing them to keep track of their schedule so i know when is best to strike, the other has started to take notice of my car following them a lot so i’ll have to wipe them out soon, probably tomorrow 

dream trip: me and my dad have lowkey been planning to go to disney world because we are cool, we’re trying to get his girlfriend and her 11 year old son on board even though they have no interest in going so we don’t just look like an adult woman and her father going on a trip to disney world because that’s just a bit weird

amount of sleep: i’m running on like 4 hours of sleep atm, its nearly 2am and i have to be up by 7 and i hate myself

what i’m wearing: big tshirt, no trousers, because trousers are for the weak. its what i’m always wearing.

play any instruments: as a little kid i played the violin and i still have that violin even though it does not belong to me, its like a tiny child’s violin so if a person is sad and i am not sympathetic i am capable of playing the tiny violin for them

random fact: i am a competent tap dancer and just so many opinions on public transport, i could legit write a book

describe yourself as aesthetic things: ??? are funfairs aesthetic? if so funfairs, fairy lights i fucking love fairy lights, sunrises in winter, sunsets in summer, a very specific one but nighttime in supermarket carparks, idk if thats aesthetic but like i feel like that sums up me, i really like 24hr supermarkets and just being in places at 2am where you have no business being in at 2am

m’kay so i got to the story gate for the origin access trial of andromeda and here are some thoughts. i’m gonna try to make this as spoiler-free as possible!

-i tend to get attached to characters very easily, so this might not be saying much, but i am super into the characters i’ve met so far and i’m looking forward to getting to know them and meeting others!

-there is already drama on the tempest and i am so ready to bust out the popcorn and watch it pan out.

-battle is fun and engaging and it does remind me a lot of me3 mp but there’s a certain fluidity to it that’s new. i didn’t get into it enough to mess with profiles and favorites and such but that seems really daunting tbh. i’ve had plenty of success just zipping around vanguard-style so i will probably just stick with that until it stops working ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

-crafting and customizing weapons is very overwhelming to me but i am interested in learning!

-strike team missions feel a lot like war table objectives in da:i. i feel like a lot of people probably won’t like that, but i do. they’re also probably optional? i’m not 100% sure but they felt kinda extra.

-honestly, people are way overblowing the impact of the graphical quirks and glitches. it doesn’t mess with my immersion hardly at all (which, again, might not be saying much since immersion isn’t a challenge for me) and it’s good for a bit of a chuckle at worst. if you want a game with top-notch industry-leading ultra-high-quality hyper-realistic graphics and animations, we all already knew this wasn’t going to be it.

-re: above, there was one scene in particular where the side of liam’s face went all wavy at times and it was pretty hilarious. other than that, no graphical weirdness stood out to me.

-there are some fairly simple puzzle mechanics introduced early on that have room to grow and get more difficult as the game progresses, which is Super Relevant To My Interests as someone who grew up on the legend of zelda. another thing that might not be for everyone, but i’m very excited about.

-i’m having a surprising amount of trouble with the nomad. it’s not bad, but i think maybe driving it in reverse is backwards from how it worked in the mako and that’s what’s messing me up so much with it. once i get used to it, i will probably like it more than i like the mako, and i’m kind of a huge mako stan, so there’s that.

-the galaxy map is kinda....... slow, in a way? like every movement is pretty deliberate, but i think that’s just a product of the way they animated it in order to pretty much get rid of loading screens. it’s much more graceful than those good ol’ elevators in that regard. also the music evokes a very similar feeling to the old galaxy map music, imo, which is something i was kind of curious about and i know some others were too.

-yeah sorry but the character creator is.............. Not Great. i posted my results and i think they’re fine and i’ve seen a lot of really pretty ryders, but if you’re looking for the same amount of freedom you’d find in the da:i cc, it isn’t to be found here. that said, a few of the presets that act sort of as bases that you then work off of aren’t too terrible (i’m in love with preset #5 for sara, actually), and i’m super pleased that makeup isn’t gender locked.

-i didn’t find any game-breaking bugs, but one thing in particular kinda stuck out: customizing colors for your ryder’s casual outfit doesn’t seem to work. you can get it how you want it to look but i couldn’t seem to make it save and show up outside of the customization screen. not absolutely vital to me, but the white and blue does clash pretty horribly with my boy’s color palette.

-i haven’t touched multiplayer and i don’t really plan to. playing games with strangers online is way too intimidating for me.

-idk what else to talk about honestly if you want more details about a particular topic or you wanna talk spoilers for the part that i’ve played you can send me a message!

-overall i will say that i’m enjoying the game very much so far and i’m glad i played the trial of it. maybe i’m overlooking stuff because i want to like it, but honestly it’s a lot of fun for me and i would highly recommend giving it a shot.

When I created this blog: Just over 6 years ago this month, apparently.

The kind of stuff I post: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatever floats my boat, tbh. A lot of fandom junk, photographs and art, shit posts, my art, et cetera, et cetera...

Do I get asks regularly?: Nope. I’m not really active enough in fandoms or anything on here to be gettin’ much traffic in the ask department.

Why did I choose my url: It’s something of a portmanteau ...I guess? Or maybe not... idk. Anyway, I have a habit of using Yanamari, which is the name of an OC of mine, as my username. People (and myself tbh) then tend to shorten the name to Yana. Back when I used to frequent Gaia Online @sunsetlullabies would tack “-chi” and “-chin” on the end of my username. Initially, I created this tumblr with the url leap-of-fail since I had been on a huge Assassin’s Creed kick back then. Eventually (as in last year) I got tired of tumblr’s relationship with hyphenated usernames in relation to tags. I’d already been using “Yanachin” for my art side-blog and I, wanting to keep things tied together, decided on Yanachii. Threw in an extra “i” because it just looked more visually appealing to me.

Favorite characters: You ;) In all seriousness though, I’d have to say Hardison and Parker from Leverage; Garnet from Steven Universe; Bill Cipher, Soos, and Stanley from Gravity Falls; pretty much the entire cast of Undertale; and... that’s about it for my currently relevant interests.

Dream job: Overall just doing something that I enjoy, that doesn’t have me dreading waking up in the morning or having to deal with anxiety and panic attacks on a daily basis. I absolutely do not want to touch customer service/retail/food service ever again. Currently entertaining the idea of an English/Art teacher or an editor. A job relating to art would be ideal but I don’t have a lot of confidence in my art and art knowledge to peruse a job in that field.

Number of blankets I sleep with: Three. The mink blanket my parents got me when they visited South Korea last year, the Tokyo Ghoul throw my friend got me that lays on top of that, and then the blanket I use for actual cover. ...I’m odd and don’t typically sleep under my sheets. :T

OH LORD, STORY TIME (SORRY FOR LENGTH BUT I HAVE TO)

Idk if other countries do this but here we have the custom of making this cool trip by the end of junior year of hs to a different country or city for a few days, you go with your entire grade + some teachers and just have fun! Me and my class went to Dominican Republic and it was great. Gorgeous beaches and islands, scuba diving, resort with food and bars open 24/7… It was heaven. (there even was a bar in the pool like omg?) Ok so, the legal age for drinking here is 18—which most of us were—so naturally we spent quite a lot of time taking advantage of the free drinks. Unlimited alcohol + irresponsible teens + very little supervision (resort too big to keep track of everyone)… Not exactly the best combination haha. That year I kinda broke ties with all the girls in my class(yikes) and my guy friends were aaall too busy hitting on the hot bikini girls so i mostly just hung out with the general group and made conversation with random people. 

Night before we left home I was on this cart that took u to the disco w 2 other chicks when these 3 austrian guys got in, they were p cool and friendly so we stuck w them when we got there. At some point the chicks left to meet with their boyfriends and it was just me and the 3 guys. From here on my memories are p blurry so i can only remember flashes:

-Me dancing with the three dudes. -Me dancing with only one (where did the others go???) -Dude buying me drinks. (booze costed money at the disco) -Me and guy hanging with ppl from my class at the beach (how did we get there???) -Me and guy suddenly by ourselves walking down the beach -Making out w guy. -…Me, waking up in the hospital hooked up to an IV with the worst hangover of my entire life.

Until this day i have no idea what actually happened since everyone told me a different story (this bitch from my class even insinuated I was raped like wtf dude?!) What seemed most legit was this: we kept on walking until we got to his resort, went to his room and i passed out in his bathroom. (aren’t i the hottest?) Guy was decent enough to take me back were some of my classmates snd teacher were hanging out and they took me to the hospital.

Piece of advice, never get alcohol poisoning before a 14 hour plane trip :):):):):)

Apparently, me and guy had exchanged numbers at some point so I was quite surprised when he kept texting me even when i was back in chile. Lord he was such a romantic! He kept telling me how much he liked and missed me it was so awkward, I never even liked the guy (curse my drunken lack of standards). Finally one day he asked me if we could possibly meet again, somewhere in the middle between our countries. I told him no a million times but he kept insisting offering to pay for all accommodations and stuff, at this point I was desperate to get rid of him but I couldn’t get myself to block him. So one day I panicked and—“i really really wish i could but my younger sister is pregnant and i have to be there for her, you must understand”

He never texted again.

i can’t think of one i really hate atm but the ‘hewwo’ thing that got popular recently rlly annoys me

Sci-Fi! And i kind of see protagonists and antagonists as the same thing? Like it really just depends of what point of view the story is told, wouldn’t The Knight in Shining Armor be the antagonist of the dragon’s story?

6. What’s one thing you pretend to dislike but actually lowkey love?

I thing there would be plenty of loopholes but not such an obvious one as wishing for more wishes, u just gotta be creative. Here’s what i would do: 1) wish for 10 more lamps. 2) wish for a an invisible and impenetrable safe box to keep ‘em all. 3) have the ability to summon one whenever i please. When i only have one left i’d wish for 10 more and keep doing that forever.
