Your stories about Splatoon seem simple and yet beautiful to read, even a story about a simple match at Turf Wars is nice to follow. These subjects seem to be short to write, as in my manuals, it is advisable to keep the dialogues only for scripts before the drawn version of the comic. Since I am also building my Splatoon story, one piece at a time, I would like to know from you... How do you write your subjects and your scripts?! And Congratulations for everything you've done! ;)

I’m literally the worst person to ask comic making advises, when it comes to script. Simply because I don’t have a script. 8′D All my comics are in my head and pretty much make the dialog as I draw the comic. This is why sketching a new page can take me some time. I need to think about the dialog.

I am, tho, planning to actually write script for my original comic series. I want that to be the best comic I’ve ever done. And, I think I would keep it simple. Like:

“Short description of the scene. Maybe some notes for what I wanna see in the panel.”

Clementine: “line” with a smirk on her face.

Whinter: “response” trying to keep his cool but failing

But yeah, I work so much in my head. I see the comic as an animation in my mind and I just “screencap” the most important scenes and put them in a comic page. I see my characters acting in my head and thus I know how to draw them. It’s the dialog that needs most work and I know I’ll be working with a script in future. But yeah, I will keep it simple like I showed there. Unlike here where I’m just rambling. 8′D
