just out of curiosity have you read the howls moving castle book? cause i also did not like howl in the movie but found him and his relationship ship w sophie much more entertaining when i read it but i also know some people dislike book howl even more

No i havent read it myself but ive seen some snippets here and there and from that i think i could probably get behind finding him more entertaining in the book. Something about the way hes animated and portrayed in the movie makes him very lacking in personality to me, so when his pathetic drama queen scenes happen it genuinely just makes me uncomfortable rather finding it entertaining.

Cuz like when describing those scenes i feel like i WOULD like Howl in a "hes so pathetic and ridiculous" way but when i actually Watch Them im just left feeling like "wow this guys the worst in like a Bad Way i dont want to be here anymore"
