Like I know I'm a lesbian and can't be trusted, but so far (middle of ep 11) my biggest takeaway of depth and value from EAW is that Min-woo is supposed to be the sexy guy, but Myeong-seok is way more attractive.

Can people stop talking about men or just masc in general as something disgusting and unattractive. Like that's not inclusive but is just excepted, if that was reversed I bet your ass you would be torn to shreds.

What pisses me more off is when people talk like that in front of me fully knowing I am masc but, because I'm not "fully" male to them I'm exempted from that which makes me feel disgusted. A friend of mine has gotten into it which hurts. They should know better but, hey if doesn't affect them it's fine I guess. That's how is always been for people around me.

I hate tone indicators to be completely honest. Like I get them. I think adding clarity is good. But I hate them.

Like why did we spend literal decades perfecting internet tone and nuance for this.

AGAIN. I KNOW THEY'RE GOOD. IF THEY HELP YOU, SO BE IT.

But I also prefer the method mentioned above. Way funnier and much more in line with the way language has actually developed on the internet thus far.

actually you know what that's exactly it i would rather someone add 5 parantheticals after every sentence than use tone indicators it's 1. accomplishing SO much more in terms of clarity 2. extremely funny to look at depending on how they're used

My left hip socket was really hurting for like over a week. Then I went to a conference up in Aurora and was at a hotel. I basically sat in a ballroom almost all day. There was a saltwater lazy river at the hotel that I did make use of in the late afternoon. We walked around the resort and I was mostly in flip-flops, but my hip pain is gone... so the question is- what caused the pain and what did I do differently away from home that the pain went away. I think it was psychosomatic and I need school to start so I have some structure...

So there was this movie; called Re-Possessed. Some damn good parody work, mocking the Exorcist, amity horror, tv evangelicals, a dozen other jokes thrown in- Blazing Saddles, Transylvania Twist, Dracula Dead and Loving it, Young Frankenstein type of send up.

And at one point a passing scene has the family and one of the kids says 'I hate our last name, it's so stupid.' and the father explains that an Aglet is the metal bit on a shoelace, and it used to be perfectly common to have a name related to your occupation, so that's where the name Aglet came from. The kid demanded to know "so what did John Hancock do?"

and that's why I know what an aglet is.
