not even a hardcore thirteen era stan but it's been pretty bizarre watching doctor who fans brush off the same weaknesses and flaws they spent years criticising chibnall for now that it's rtd who's in charge

#doctor who #i guess my rtd stan era is coming to haunt me #maybe i was naive for interpreting thirteen era criticism in good faith but then seeing the SAME people praise rtd when he pulls the same #shit....yeah its weird #example: yaz being dragged cause she didn't feel fleshed out as a character or her relationship with the doctor not being well developed #but rtd barely giving us any moments of ruby bonding with the doctor (and time jumping months into their travels almost straight away) is ok #the timeless child breaking the internet but the ridiculous bigeneration copout to keep tennant around is ok
