need to study korean manhwa artists in a lab. what in the fuck is wrong with so many of them that there's constant romance stories of a completely irredeemable, psychopathic love interest who commits rape, murder, and genocide wantonly with a redemption that starts and stops at 'when he was little people were mean to him once' and still he gets a happy ending. why does this happen so often. like it makes the "dark romance" booktok shit look like child's play. why the hell do they keep writing it

like steel under silk at least does the romance first and the love interest is more of just a coerced hitman than anyone really evil. but when there's stuff like toxic where the love interest who is endgame literally commits genocide it's like. wh. what are we doing here, ladies

like stories like this should have two angles: 1. the love interest has enough complexity that he can actually be redeemed and isn't just entirely without empathy, and so he redeems himself properly and atones (the angle steel under silk seems to be going for), or 2. the love interest is so evil he cannot be redeemed, and so after all the hot sex it has a cathartic finale of the main character getting their revenge or otherwise moving on while the love interest suffers in misery (the angle that seems impossible for any korean manhwa artist to even attempt)

You of course always knew that even after years together, a ring, house, a dog and even know a baby. That even though you're committed enough towards john to give up your freedom for him, you know he might be as committed to you.

Maybe it was the constant deployments, or maybe the feeling that you only had a ring due to familial pressure and the constant hinting that he would get from you.

No matter what it was it's clear now that maybe trying to keep someone who didn't want to be kept (at least by you) was an idea destined for failure, even more so when the key part of the idea included a baby.

John always made sure to be safe, he didn't care for children and that was something made obvious early on, regardless of how many years spent together even just the thought of having kids offput him, even more so with the knowledge that he spent more of his time working then anything else.

He wasn't exactly in his prime either, pushing his mid 40's was something that also contributed to your own thoughts, over the years you've seen friends and cousins start families, you could admit you felt envious.

Just seeing, holding, and babysitting the kids caused a dark sense of resentfulness to make it's way inside of you, you had seen many stories of girl's 'accidently' forgetting to take their birth control which resulted in pregnancies and love filled marriages.

At some point after your own birth control had seemed to 'slip' your mind, you had fully convinced yourself that it was healthier for your own body to stop taking it at all.

You of course didn't want john to know as the last time you had tried to convince him that birth control was bad for the body and that john "Probably couldn't produce kids anymore anyways."

He wasn't to excited to hear you reinforce his own insecurities of being to old for you, after that argument it took a little over a week of apologies, favors, and sex to make it up to him.

After the seed of a baby was planted inside your head, you stopped birth control and decided to not actively try and get pregnant but let nature take it's course, that course being condoms with tiny holes in them.

And when it finally happened, although you had to act devastated and as if your life had just been ruined, inside you were jumping for joy at the prospect of your little family of three, you know if only that had actually been the case.

If only you had seen the signs, the quietness from him as you talked about the life growing inside of you, the way his stuff slowly made it's way out of your house and into someone else's.

If only you had noticed his weird behavior before waking up one day three months into your pregnancy to john price and all of his things gone.

tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

Uhm. That’s it for now, ig. I’m sorta on a timer rn and I’m tired so <3

Ivo Robotnik - ultimate roboticist. Still wants to rule the world. Thinks the entire school is beneath him, just a means to get a leg up in the world and advance his plans of world domination. Has a soft spot for Stone obviously. Hated him at first just like he hates everyone else, but stone wormed his way into his heart when he remained adamant in sticking beside him despite his constant beration. He'll never admit this though, all he says aloud is that stone is useful to him.

Aban Stone - not entirely sure about his talent, maybe ultimate secret agent. Thinks similarly to robotnik -- the entire school is beneath him -- but is a lot less obvious about it. He puts on a facade and is pleasant with his classmates and teachers. The only person he doesn't put up a facade with is Robotnik -- he genuinely likes him and thinks if anyone should rule the world, it should be Ivo. Basically designates himself the Ultimate Henchman once he comes to the school and meets Ivo. Waits on him hand and foot. Their classmates think theyre absolutely fucking bizarre. 'Yeah they're that weird couple whose kink is like world domimation or something?'
