Bainrotting over tf2 monster aus and animal aus and i hve an idea for one and have no where else to put it
Ok so smth smth a wizard gets pissy at them for some reason and curses them all with Not Human
For like a furry/hybrid thing what i think theyd be (its a bunch of options but ill eventually shrink it down to smth smaller)
Scout : either a rabbit (ofc), deer, or small bird of some kind. I can see all of these being fitting
Sniper : obvious choice would be blue healer or owl or smth, but i think hed be a lizard or croc or snake tbh, he gives the "i enjoy sitting in the sun because its warm" vibes
Spy : if you wanted to match him with scout, maybe a crow or hare. If it doesnt matter or just via vibes i think bat or something with good camouflage like a nightjar something with stealth like a cat/big cat (though a lot of big cats like snow leopards/cougars/jaquare have both, so best of both worlds?)
Engineer : cow/bull is an easy but good answer, but maybe prairie dog or beaver for the building skills?
Pyro : im gonna be real i have very little ideas for this. First instinct is dragon or unicorn, but for real animals my only idea is a black kite bird maybe
Heavy : bear maybe for simplicity, but i think tiger or reindeer heavy would be awesome
Medic : for a simple answer; dove or fancy pigeon. For a more complex answer based on some things; ape/monkey/primate of some kind, badger, horseshoe bat, and pine martens seem fun for him
Demo : hes weird to pick for ill be real. My ideas though are fruit bat, sheep, red deer and otter
Soldier : bald ea- anyways. I think hed be a raccoon, ringtail, bison or alligator tbh
Im gona make the mythical creature version of this on the next post but like this with just hybrids instead of anthropomorphic animals would be cool
Maybe a mix of all the animals i thought abt

swtor asks: 46, 39, 43, 22, 26
Woe, more swtor asks be upon us! I had to rotate some of these overnight, lol.
22. One feature not in-game that you'd love to see?
Cheating, I'm giving you two because I wrote a big paragraph about one and then there's also: I'd kill for a playable tech-based sword wielding-class. The fact that only my Force users can use the cool swords and whatnot, but at the expense of robbing them of lightsabers while there's npcs running around swinging vibroswords is a bit of a crime, tbh.
Anyway, it'd be fucking awesome and I'd actually give Tyr a second combat style for it because I think that'd be so hot for him. How much I'd actually play it instead of Operative is maybe a different story because I'm a little stealth princess, but hey, we're talking about options here, lol.
Anyway, on a slightly more... fleshed out note? This gets long quickly, let me put a cut here.
SO. Okay, this may exist and I’m just blind to it because I don’t generally do group or raid content of any kind [hamster peace sign meme here], but FFXIV has something called Party Finder which is sort of… if a group finder and a message board? It’s got sections for dungeons [standard 4 person party composition], trials [8 players], alliances [24 player encounters], etc. XIV players generally use this to build parties for current, on-level higher difficulty content such as extremes or savage raids rather than using the random matchmaker ie group finder equivalent that'd just pitch you into a queue, but it can also be used to form ‘premade’ groups to clear older content either synced [level/abilities adjusted back to release-era] or to overlevel the ever-loving shit out of some poor lvl 60 or 70 boss and just take their lunch money.
It’s a really nice system to even know what content is out there and has several filters/status settings for party conditions like syncing or priorities (are you looking for a learning party focused on clearing at all or doing several preferably quick, clean kills in succession for looting purposes, etc) and you can search by roles/jobs in need. In XIV, I’ve cleared most of the higher difficulty content I’ve seen via Party Finder groups; not all friends want to do the same content/same level of content at the same time, schedules don’t line up, etc., or guilds/free companies just be intimidating, lol. Never fear! Party Finder is here.
Something about the systemic nature of it makes it less intimidating in my brain, too, than like, random shouts on the fleet or whatever to fill groups. Probably the added context of party descriptions and objective labels. If you don't get what they put on the tin, then someone labeled their party finder incorrectly, but it's meant to give you an idea of what you're getting into before you commit and we do love to see that.
26. Weapon of choice?
I agonized over this one, lol. Picking just one was a tricky endeavor because I've fallen into the rabbit hole of personalizing sets down to weapons for different characters, so I have a handful of favorites I've nominated for mention.
I recently got the Frontiersman's Blaster Rifle for Len (I've been eyeing it for probably a month trying to figure out who/which outfit to put it on), Rhyst's most prominent is probably the Inscrutable Dualsaber with... I think a smoky amber color crystal? Oli has the EE-2 Blaster Pistol (I like the blue lights). Nikihlus has the Zakuulan Exile's Sniper Rifle, possibly with a red color crystal, I don't remember if I modded it at all, but the extra shing of the blade attachment when you draw it is everything to me. Annnd Barreth, one of my Consulars, got Vengeance's Unsealed Lightsaber that I have her wield a pair of with a green indestructible crystal.
39. Single saber, twin sabers, or dual sabers?
Hmmm… contextualized as in like, what combat style I prefer, I actually… really like Juggernaut more than Marauder?
Anyway, my OG Consular has a dualsaber and I’ll live and die by the fact that dualsabers kick ass. They’re so cool. Particularly when [maybe cheating] you can, like, detach them and now you have TWO laser swords? [I made his second combat style Sentinel to appease the brain goblins about this.] Adaptability. Cool rating. Really beautiful designs.
Also because Shadows and Assassins have stealth and I am, again, a pretty, pretty stealth princess. Bonus objectives for slaughtering rows and rows of enemies? Don’t know her.
43. Favorite operation?
I've yet to actually do operations because I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat. I know, doesn't translate when I've done 8 man extremes with glee in FFXIV, but I have definitely backed off raiding and gearing related grinds since being in college. They can be pretty involved and I just do not always have the spoons left over to get into performance like that.
I've enjoyed it in XIV though, so I'd be down for giving it a whirl sometime, maybe over the summer when I won't have classes. Work and class schedules kinda also limit my time, so it's a bit intimidating to commit to progression schedules within everything.
46. What do you think of the world events so far?
Oscillating between the interpretation of “what in-game events do you like” and “what do you think of the story,” but I think the latter is more fun and has more meat on the bone.
So! First of all, I am absolutely a story gremlin. I absolutely got into SWTOR primarily for the story and whatever it is or isn’t as a MMO is whatever it is or isn’t. That said, I don’t know why I didn’t expect it to grip me and sink into any little porous opening in my being that it could find, but I’ve been playing for over a year now and it has… done that. I think it’s safe to say that it’s taken over as my primary gaming choice by now, lol.
I have my least favorites among the class stories, for sure, but I’d agree with the consensus that, generally, they’re all good. They’re all good at something. Whatever I dislike about them is more-so down to personal tastes and preferences than jarring faults in the story.
And it’s definitely my favorite way to engage with Star Wars. I was never particularly in to Star Wars - I could enjoy it, I could leave it. I have bones to pick with its consistent dedication to binary and that’s a gripe I could agree with even inside of SWTOR. But I do love the way SWTOR engages with the universe - allows me to engage with the universe. Several of the class stories are not what I’d define as the general fare of Star Wars, or there’s ways to play them that inverse, twist, or otherwise do something cool with something that the movies might not have - that wasn’t the story the movies wanted to tell or what have you.
Trying to pin down the timeline hurts my brain. I hate math as a general rule and I dislike trying to riddle out certainties from conflicting or non-existent information when it comes to timelines, lol, but that’s not a uniquely SWTOR problem. xD
Ultimately, I started playing for the story - I’m still here because I’m invested in the story. I’m invested in my characters and the npcs and companions in a way I fell in love with in my first Bioware experiences in Dragon Age and Mass Effect. The dialogue options - particularly those that are voiced - add such. Chef’s kiss, y’know? It’s a whole different way to engage with a game  and really be a part of it when I can reflect a character’s way of thinking inside of a game like that.
Star Wars as a whole has always been a sort of odd relationship for me in that I have plenty of bigger gripes with what it does or how it does overall, but the universe is full of such potential. I still love some of the potential, some of the pieces of it. I am eager to see what comes of the saboteur options that started with Jedi Under Siege - my main being an Imperial Agent that took the SIS route definitely factors into that, lol.
Something about how the story is set up and how it plays has just… really got me. To describe it kind of feels almost diminishing and it’s difficult, but, in short, I guess I’ve loved the way I can engage with it and the way I can return to it. The many, many possibilities packed into just the class stories alone is so much to explore and it’s so, so fun to get into a character’s headspace and really figure out how that affects everything they see and take forward with them into the expansion content. It’s changes and nuance I can reflect as well as expand upon in writing or headcanons or what have you and it’s just… been a whole lot of fun. Whatever does come of it, I think I’ve found another one of those pieces of media, the kind of ocs that’ll stick with me for years to come and that will always be some part of me and what brings me joy to remember.
Anyway: my favorite of the in-game events that I’ve done so far is Bounty Contracts Week. I have fun with the intro and it’s a nice simple daily rotation.

Current Activities in Fallout 76 #2
Tumblr media
So my previous post's concern about seeing "some level 230 ghoul with an inflated health pool" appears to not be a thing. At level 154, most enemies seem to be capped at level 100, even some of the major world bosses. They balance the level thing out by giving said bosses innate and insane damage reduction to keep the fights from lasting three seconds with everyone's Gatling Plasmas atomizing every threat. Mind you, enemies still melt to the might of the well prepared. All the same my decently modded 50cal, a half-decent stealthy Fixer, and now even the Red Terror seem to maintain their performance.
The play-farm-repair-farm-repair-play was also minimized through a couple of methods. I finally have enough perks to shift around, including the ability to repair weapons and armor to 200% capacity. There's also the fact that I've been running around in my power armor a lot more lately, which in turn saves my self-armor a lot of grief and has not stressed my resource pool out in some time. Steel is typically the thing I need most, at all times, for both repairing and generating my own ammo stocks. But grabbing some minor things like steel and asbestos are usually simple 20 minute affairs.
Tumblr media
So with the previous problems somewhat alleviated, albeit rearing their heads every now and then, the game is... decent. My main drive is pushing through the Season as much as I can. There's something in the 70's the generates "Pemmican", a food that gives you 2 or 3 extra endurance. There's the rank 100 mask I'd love but I don't hold much hold I can get that far in before the season ends, though I still have a whole month (though that's less time than you'd think if I can get a job within that time).
I was instructed to try and go for an XP farm build. I have the poor-man's version of it, I've used my second build slot to set up a stealth-sniper that works excellently with the Fixer. I did a test run through the farm spot, West-Tek, which hosts a base of super mutants. With the right perks I killed them all (and their little dogs too) without ever entering open combat. So the build works, I just really lack the right legendary effects for the Fixer. There's a perk card that has VATS auto-switch targets with even more damage, but that's hard to accomplish with only 20 bullets in your clip. I need it to have 80 bullets, and maybe some other helpful effects attached.
After that, an XP build requires a whole dance of chems, a specific mutation, a certain magazine that's actually used as extra currency, and all manner of things I just don't have the resources to acquire. I've started my own Berry Mentats production so I've been able to add an extra 5 INT at will in high-density events and activities to help push my experience further.
The real experience farm seems to live in Expeditions. Everyone always just spams the boardwalk due to its linear nature, and generally the fact that it can be done in 5-7 minutes, accompanied by a juicy 13-20k XP at the very end, not counting how many kills you get throughout. It's not the crazy 2k-a-kill the West Tek farm has, but it's the best I can get. I feel like I've made decent progress but I'm not sure I'll make it to 100. The hockey mask is cool, but I can live without it.
Frankly, I find a majority of the rewards on this season to be a bit lame. It's cub-scout themed, so all the armor paints are these ugly beige and green layouts. I tend to favor the more edgy, Tacti-Cool kind of stuff. It's a bit why I am so drawn to the Enclave's aesthetic.
Tumblr media
I've seen some chatter about an Enclave-themed season but I'm pretty sure that's just wishful thinking. If that becomes the case, my time on ESO will become further in hibernation mode as I try to push that kind of Season the best I can. It has also gotten to the point where I am seriously considering having a 1st subscription whenever I am employed again. 1st people get a boost to season progress.
But yeah, that's where I've been.

Extensive though process and deconstruction under the cut here.
(Take all of these with salt of course, this is based on a 1/1 connection for the crossover instead of it being close enough.)
The Marauder's hunched form kind of resembles a scythes blade and the presence of the spinal-mounted autocannon in most forms fills the roll of a ranged sniper. Paint it red and put a rose emblem on the side and you're golden. Some models take jumpjets too as well.
Yangs a given. Also; the Nova has fists. The position of the energy weaponry around them on the arms resembles Yang's Huntress weaponry.
Tumblr media
Personally I feel Blake would pilot a Shadow Cat for the memery but an Ebon Jaguar's not entirely a bad take either. The irony of her having a gauss rifle in either mech so she can headclip people who annoy her is always nice. You are going to have to stick a hatchet in there somewhere tho to represent Gambol Shroud's melee form.
Alternatively you could put her in a Ebony, a Magistracy of Canopus light scout mech.
Tumblr media
(Note the ears and the single weapon more fitting to her pistol sidearm. Also it has TSM. Paint it black and watch her rampage across the battlefield at 160 kph. Did I mention it can also take stealth armor to literally make itself a shadow?)
Weiss...here we disagree. Weiss is a caster; shes RWBY's team mage. She would be better suited in a lighter and more mobile machine with a lot of missile and ranged weaponry as well as electronic support equipment, rather than the Atlas, which (while it CAN be a support platform) is not designed explicitly as a fires support machine. Its got way too much armor and too many close in weapons for that role. It was built to get in and break face. Yes, it shares her name with her home kingdom. But it doesnt...really fit her. Its too big and heavy for a dancer and singer, you know? No, the heiress gets to ride in something smaller and lighter with support weapons so she can stand behind her team and support.
Tumblr media
The Magistracy's Calliopie would work nicely, I think. The Plasma Rifle will make short work of any infantry support and mess nicely with mechs as well. (Also its from Canopus, a famoulsy matriarchal society, as a bonus)
Jaune should have a retrofitted Clanbuster that keeps the hatchet blade but drops three of the lasers to mount an arm-carried ablative sheild similar to the Centurion. The rest of the lasers should either be downscaled to be basically worthless in combat (referencing his lack of a ranged weapon) or be stripped completely for TAG, BAP or something similar. Maybe an ECM or Anti-Missile system?
Nora...once again, we falter. Mainly, in the fact that "Thor" was the inner sphere name for it. The proper clan title is the Summoner, and its connections to the god of Thunder (and therefor Nora herself) end there. Its distinct lack of a melee weapon, and also of RL pods to represent Nora's grenade launcher, simply wont do. Also, as is an issue with a lot of these mechs, it doesnt sell the proper mobility of a Hunter. Summoners dont JUMP. Nor, really, do they run. They're sturdy fire support platforms. Also; Nikolai Malfus. ENOUGH SAID.
Thankfully there's other mechs that fill the role just fine.
Tumblr media
This is the Valkyrie. Far closer to her actual reference in terms of namesake, and also, note the open hand, allowing for the presence of a melee weapon.
There's also the Mjlonir.
Tumblr media
Hammer. Lasers. Jumpjets. Yeah, this works real good. Slap some pink on it, rip out one of the lasers for an SRM-2 Commando style, that could work.
Pyrrha has a similar issue; Which Gladiator do you mean? The original one made by the Draconis Combine, one of their original Mech models
Tumblr media
(in which case; why are you putting the best fighter in JNPR in a machine older than the First Star League? I understand she doesnt wear enough armor in the show but this is a little hamfisted) or the Clan Executioner, which was named the Gladiator by the Spheroids?
Tumblr media
Which...has its...own problems... (Eugh, I forgot how UGLY this thing was. WHY THE FACE GOD NO).
No, once again we must look instead to the Magistracy again...
Tumblr media
Behold, the Agrotera. A medium mech based on the Word of Blake's Phoenix Hawk design. While it lacks the shield Pyrrha usually carries, the partial wing and jumpjets make up for it in fufilling Pyrrha's movement style. The long rifle can also represent her spear rather nicely. AND, as a hilarious little touch, the Agrotera includes a full head ejection system, improving pilot survivability by a factor of 3. (Mind you, in this universe Cinders going to be piloting some absolute DOGSHIT rustpile from the Rim Worlds Republic because shes Fat Genghis Khan's great-great-great-great-granddaughter or something and she's loosing that eye to a near-miss from a Gauss Rifle I swear to fucking GOD BUT...yeah. Good luck killing Pyrrha in this thing biiiiittch)
That said if you MUST go with the original Gladiator, simply remove a ton of armor and make it into a shield on the open left arm.
And now for Ren...
Tumblr media
The Horned Owl is a good choice. The only difference I would suggest would be stripping the lasers in the arms out for twin Clan AP Gauss Rifles, and mounting 1-ton hatchets on the underside.
If you ever get around to doing other teams, you need to put Coco in an Atlas 3. Give that bitch an RAC-5.
Alright so I’ve got this half-formed RWBY + Battletech fanfic idea and I figured that the first order of business should be to sort out the Mechs for Teams RWBY and JNPR.
Ruby: Marauder
It’s effectively BattleTech’s default protagonist Mech. Best not to overthink things too much.
Yang: Nova
A heat-intense medium Mech, has a shitton of medium lasers.
Blake: Ebon Jaguar
One of my personal favorite Mechs, and, you know, black cats.
Weiss: Atlas
Duh.
Jaune: Black Knight
Easy choice.
Nora: Thor
Duh.
Pyrrha: Gladiator
Easy and to the point.
Ren: Horned Owl
Don’t really have an explanation for this one. It just kinds works.

Fallout new vegas companions taking the courier's place in lonesome road (+ cut companions if that's cool with u) (thanks!!)
The problem with trying to adapt Lonesome Road to another character's experience is that so much of its story hinges on the courier's missing past and the former Frumentarius' struggle to make them understand what happened, why it caused a shockwave across multiple lives, locations and generations, and whether to avenge or let go of the harm that was unknowingly done to the Divide. So if you bring the companions into the mix instead of Courier Six, you either have a long-running story of mistaken identity (a hilarious concept, Ulysses being absolutely positive that the companion is the one who wrecked his dream home while they have no idea who this angry, verbose man is), or a drastically different history for the companions themselves. I say let's give that second option a shot, it seems fun and headcanon-y.
Arcade Gannon: While I don't think Arcade would be directly responsible for the destruction of the Divide, I think he would pale at hearing Ulysses' message searching for Enclave agents and would set out to confront the angry courier on behalf of his hidden family. The Enclave remnants are already hunted by the NCR and the Brotherhood of Steel, and the last thing they need is to be chased out of yet another home over something they didn't personally do. He'd accept ED-E's help wholeheartedly and consider turning back every time he ran into marked men or tunnelers, but his own resolve to save his loved ones would urge him to persevere. I think his determination would intrigue Ulysses, enough to engage the young research scientist in conversation if he arrived at the end of the road in one piece, and the courier might even let go of his vendetta if Arcade revealed that he was doing this out of the goodness of his heart rather than a sense of duty. Arcade would cancel the nuke launch, but would seriously consider blowing up the Legion.
Craig Boone: We know the NCR and Legion were fighting over the Divide before the ICBMs leveled the area. But what if that was by design, rather than by accident? Maybe Boone has more skeletons in his closet than just Bitter Springs, and he was part of a strike team that used old Enclave technology to surprise the Legion forces and seal off an access route, a decision based on math and made by men who had never met the people of Hopeville and Ashton that they sentenced to death. It's yet another weight on the sniper's conscience, and yet another debt he feels obligated to pay, so when Ulysses' call goes out, he answers. The usual dangers of the Divide wouldn't slow him down, but the turbulent weather would irritate him to no end. Upon arrival at the temple, Boone wouldn't mince words because he already knows he's guilty of the charge and he knows Ulysses used to walk for the Legion. If he survived the encounter, Boone would take the opportunity to rain the same destruction down on Caesar's troops.
Lily Bowen: There are about 119 years of Lily's life as a super mutant that are unaccounted-for, and we know she suffers from schizophrenia like many other nightkin. Perhaps it was Lily who discovered the Enclave package and unwittingly left it in the home of America's missiles: Perhaps it was Leo. I'm inclined to think it was Leo, who was probably searching for a cache of Stealth Boys in the old military installations across the desert, and who simply didn't care when a new hole in the earth opened up behind him. Lily, on the other hand, cares deeply, and would set out after Ulysses in the interest of making amends where she could. More so than any other companion, I think Lily would be disturbed by the tunnelers and would go out of her way to crush them wherever they popped up. The marked men would earn her sympathy and she would do her best to knock them out without killing them. After doing the same to Ulysses, Lily would cancel the launch and weep over the subsequent loss of ED-E. She would likely bring the little eyebot back to the Mojave and search for a way to fix it.
Raul Alfonso Tejada: We already know that Raul goes to extreme lengths to avenge the people he cares about, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to mix his backstory into the story of the Divide. Following the murder of Claudia in Tucson/Two Sun, Raul chased Dirty Dave and his brothers across Arizona and into the town of Ashton before killing them. Unbeknownst to him, Dirty Dave had a package with him that could speak to the nuclear missile silos hidden in the Divide, and the earth crumbled behind the vaquero as he made his way back home. Though he'd heard of the devastation, Raul didn't put two and two together until Ulysses sent out his summons, and because he didn't have anything planned that week, the old mechanic decided to answer the call. He would put up with Ulysses' messages like a good sport until he encountered the man in the temple, where he would refuse to fight until the two talked things out like civil people. I think Ulysses would be surprised at the revelation that the ghoul he had cast as a villain was following his own quest for vengeance and unaware of the package, and would come away somewhat amused by the situation. They would most likely team up to fight off the marked men, and Raul would cancel the launch and take a wrench to the machines to prevent any more "misunderstandings."
Rose of Sharon Cassidy: Let's say one of Cass' caravans delivered a package back in the day. Let's say that package accidentally buried the caravan crew and an entire community along with it. Let's say Cass knows, and that's one of the reasons she drinks. While Courier Six walks the Divide out of curiosity about their missing past, I think Cass would do it as a form of penance in and of itself, with a little desire for self-destruction thrown into the mix. The journey would start out as a bender fueled by self-loathing and the fanciful notion of giving her missing caravan a proper funeral, and by the time Cass runs out of whiskey she's already halfway through the Cave of the Abaddon and punching holes through the tunnelers with her shotgun. She would largely ignore Ulysses' cryptic messages and holotapes, but she'd grow fond of the little eyebot that took a shine to her and would tear after it once the mysterious courier repossessed it. Following the final battle, Cass would cancel the launch, but only at the very last second, just to revel in the fleeting feeling of control.
Veronica Santangelo: I just can't see Veronica knowingly or unknowingly waking up a nuclear arsenal with a careless application of tech, but I can totally see her stumbling upon the aftermath of something her old mentor is responsible for. Father Elijah already has a tenuous grasp on the consequences of his own actions, and we know that the prototype tech that controls the Divide's weather is a Big MT project. Maybe Elijah paid Hopeville a visit to check it out and took his investigation a little too far when he discovered the nukes. This would explain Ulysses' directions to the old man to find the Sierra Madre, sealing his doom inside the casino. But where does that leave Ulysses? Along comes Veronica, following her mentor's trail of destruction, and the courier can't help but guide her along the path, show her the meaning of the wreckage and the danger of pre-war technology when left to the discretion of those with old-world values, like the Brotherhood. Along that line, I think Ulysses would try to test her like he does Courier Six, and would schedule a launch to see what she does. Veronica would cancel the launch and resolve to never tell her brothers and sisters in Steel about the secrets of the Divide. She might dump some water on the consoles for good measure. More importantly, I think she might finally realize that the unchanging family she clings to can only die out, or go down the same path that Elijah did.
ED-E: Given that ED-E is a robot, I think Ulysses would be hell-bent on finding whoever sent the little guy rather than consider that the eyebot saw a package with Enclave markings on it, picked it up of its own accord, and deposited it wherever it next encountered old American symbols. Through its communication with the other eyebots in the Divide, I think ED-E would get the picture about the courier's quest for the responsible party and play dumb for as long as possible. The other ED-E would help conceal the mistake to save its new friend, but Ulysses isn't stupid and would eventually figure it out. But how do you effectively punish a robot? Maybe he would set the nukes to target the Divide again, to send any remaining eyebots to the scrapyard for good, but it's a long shot. If he did, ED-E would cancel the launch, but would join its override system capabilities to its counterpart's and use the combined decryption power to ensure that both eyebots make it through the ordeal unharmed.
Rex: This good boy would never even consider entering the Divide. Seriously, what dog in their right mind would go in there? What cyberdog? No thank you. Still, the idea of a dog being responsible for the nukes and Ulysses continuing to hold a grudge is beyond funny. Maybe Rex was part of a mission for the Legion when he still belonged to Caesar, part of the group that leveled the Divide on behalf of the Bull. Maybe that's why Antony says he was "lost in battle," and maybe he's the only surviving member of that squad. I don't see why Ulysses would hang around the Divide waiting for the dog to look upon the hell he'd wrought, and he would more than likely seek the canine out himself as soon as he heard about the King's new pet. From there, the story turns into Courier Six investigating an assassination attempt on a goddamned dog, and the events of Lonesome Road play out pretty much the same way they were written - plus plenty of asides about how Ulysses is going to way too much effort over a creature that can't comprehend what nukes are.
Benny Gecko: Few people know that Yes Man was actually one of two securitrons that Benny managed to incapacitate and reprogram, and while the head of the Chairmen hid his favorite in the Tops for safekeeping, he sent the other out into the world for some recon and experimentation. Imagine his surprise when Yes Man was able to remotely hack into a nuclear missile silo and wipe out a budding trade community. And who would've thought that test run was going to come back to bite him in the ass, right after he was sprung from the Legion camp? I think Benny would do everything in his power to avoid entering the Divide, but I also think Ulysses would have little patience for him and would actively force the disgraced city boy into walking the Courier's Mile by blocking any other path out of the Mojave. Benny would form an attachment to ED-E, similar to Yes Man, but would complain the whole way and confront his tormenter with little remorse. He would also nuke both the NCR and the Legion if he came away alive, probably with some snarky one-liner about "letting the chips fall where they may."
Vulpes Inculta: Vulpes already has a few scorched-earth badges on his Pioneer Scouts belt (Nipton, Camp Searchlight, etc.), so eliminating the Divide is just another tactic in the grand strategy playing out between the Bull and the Bear. All he needed to do was leave a certain package in town, and the problem basically solved itself. Unfortunately, that deserter of his wasn't buried under the wreckage, and now Caesar has ordered him to assassinate the renegade. The fool keeps announcing his whereabouts every few hours or so, making tracking an easy task, but by the third time he feels eyes on the back of his neck and turns to find nothing there, Vulpes can't help but wonder whether the student has surpassed the teacher. The final showdown of Frumentarii would be something for the ages, a clash of philosophies and loyalties with plenty of verbal sparring between the bullets. If he survived the encounter with Ulysses, Vulpes would definitely nuke the NCR.
Ulysses: This cut companion can't very well face off against himself, can he? Unless... he was the courier who accidentally brought the Enclave detonator that sealed the Divide's doom. Given the weight of this grief, I think Ulysses would similarly force himself to walk the length of the Divide, take in the utter destruction that his own actions had wrought, and reflect on the meaning of one man changing the course of history. When it came down to the final room, the final decision, our disillusioned courier would activate the launch as a way of testing himself, testing his own resolve. Like Cass, he would stare at the machines shuddering to life around him until the very last moment, before shutting the system down for good, smiling under his breathing mask and walking away forever.
Victor: The robot cowboy doesn't really know what the angry man on the eyebot keeps talking about. He certainly doesn't remember delivering a package to a place called Hopeville or Ashton. Why would he? Mr. House is very good about covering his tracks, particularly when it comes to eliminating business rivals. Really, it could have been any old securitron. Nevertheless, Victor rolls merrily along in search of the courier who summoned his master, letting his own optics passively take in the devastated wasteland left behind by bombs that launched 200 years too late. Because of his robotic nature, I think it'd be a lot easier for Ulysses to get the drop on Victor and disable him at the temple, then wait until House sent another envoy or came himself. House would probably lose interest as soon as he got his data, which I don't think would stall Ulysses much: Once he figured out the Strip's owner isn't coming, he'd find some way to get inside the Lucky 38. If, however, Victor prevailed in the final struggle, he would nuke both the NCR and the Legion on behalf of Mr. House.

anakin x crosshair (skycross)
platonic love (maybe?)
━━━━━━━━ ♡ ━━━━━━━━━
part one
"Captain Cody called us on a mission, boys, we're heading to Anaxes," Hunter said in a casual tone as he changed the ship's course to the planet.
"And what mission would that be, Hunter?" asked Tech, while typing something on his datapad.
"I don't know yet, Captain didn't give too much detail. He just said it's a mission with Captain Rex and General Skywalker."
"General Skywalker" So many times Crosshair has heard of the great Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his successful missions against the Separists across the Galaxy. Crosshair has often wondered what it would be like to work side by side with Skywalker on a mission, but he never thought it would be possible, given Skywalker's fame.
Crosshair wasn't much a conversationalist, or a person who shows his feelings, although he loved his brothers and would do anything for them, Crosshair was simply more reserved and preferred to be alone with his thoughts. No one but himself knew about his curiosity about Anakin, and it was better that way.
Apparently, Crosshair's long-awaited moment had arrived. He still didn't know anything about the mission, only that it would be with Skywalker, but how much he would be involved in the mission, or even if he would actually be there, for now, Crosshair had no idea. He chose not to ask questions and just wait for their arrival in Anaxes.
"Hey Crosshair?" A loud, excited voice called him from the other side of the ship.
"What was it?" Crosshair asked after a few seconds. His gruff voice echoed through the ship as Wrecker laughed.
"We've been calling you for a while Crosshair, is everything alright?" Hunter's voice was calm. He was now in front of Crosshair looking curiously at his younger brother, who had a grumpy face looking at him.
"I'm fine, Hunter." Crosshair said as he put a toothpick in his mouth and leaned back against the bench he was sitting on.
"Great, let's land, get ready."
Crosshair wasn't prepared, but he didn't let on. He was only a few minutes away from meeting General Skywalker, and his heart felt like it was going to leap out of his mouth at any moment. He took a long breath, and tried to remain calm and wait for the landing.
~
The ship landed in a hurried and disorganized on the airstrip at the Anaxes Fort.
Crosshair got up nervously from his seat but trying to maintain his posture. He put on his helmet and could let out a long breath again. He felt his hands sweat cold, and his heart race, he was finally just steps away from meeting General Skywalker.
The ship's door opened and his brothers walked towards it. Crosshair took the sniper and followed them.
Crosshair exited the ship and walked down the ramp, stopping just behind the group. His curious eyes searched for the General. Crosshair didn't know what he looked like, after all, he'd never seen him, but figured he was accompanying Rex and Cody. His hands were sweating beneath her armored glove, her heart pounding like never before in her life. Crosshair didn't quite understand what was going on, these sensations were new to him. How could he feel all this for someone he didn't know?
While he was lost in thought, he saw three figures approaching. Two of them were clones, Cody was one of them, and assumed Captain Rex was the other. Among them, a figure that wasn't a clone, because of his bearing, was a Jedi. Was he General Skywalker? A wave of thoughts invaded Crosshair's mind, he would finally meet the Jedi known across the galaxy, he would finally work with him on a mission, but why was he so nervous this time? After all, it was just another mission like so many others they had participated in before.
His brothers removed the helmet, and before he did the same, Crosshair gulped and removed it as well. "Crosshair what's wrong with you?" he thought to himself.
The three approached the group.
"Cody, long time brother, glad to see you again" Hunter said approaching the three of them.
"So these are your friends?" Anakin asked as he watched the group, with a friendly smile on his face.
"This is Clone Force 99, also known as Bad Batch." Said Cody, to Anakin and Rex. "This is Captain Rex and General Anakin Skywalker, boys"
"Nice to meet you" said Hunter and started to introduce his brothers one by one, to the trio.
Crosshair wasn't really paying attention to what Hunter was saying, he only heard voices in the background. His attention was fully directed to General Skywalker.
So that was him. Crosshair was somehow mesmerized by Anakin's beauty, long shoulder-length brown hair blowing in the wind, the serious posture of a general, arms crossed and eyes intent on the newly arrived clones.
"Crosshair doesn't say much, but if you need to hit a target a mile away, he's the guy!" Hunter said introducing his younger brother to the three in front of him. The words woke Crosshair from his thoughts of the General, who was now staring at him with a slight smile on his face. Crosshair felt his stomach lurch as Skywalker looked directly at him, and he froze, couldn't say a word, just popped the toothpick into his mouth again as he stared back at the general.
"So you don't like to talk very much?" Anakin's voice was soft but firm. The smile on his face was something Crosshair would never forget. Crosshair's heart sped up again and he felt his throat go dry.
"I.." Crosshair started to speak when he was interrupted by Wrecker
"Oh Crosshair doesn't say much, but he's good guy, isn't truth Crosshair?" Wrecker slapped his brother on the shoulder so hard that he fell a couple of steps forward, inching closer to Anakin.
"Well, glad to meet you guys. Can Hunter join us so we can go over some mission details?" Rex said as he turned to walk back to the base.
"I think it would be better if everyone followed, Rex so we've already talked to everyone at once and there's no doubt about the mission" Anakin's voice again was steady, and Crosshair could hear him talk for hours, was hoping he would introduce the mission and explained everything in details.
~
The group arrived at the base and Rex and Anakin opened a holomap and explained the mission to them. It was a stealth mission. Rex suspected that one of his brothers from 501st batallion was alive and in control of the separatists. The mission was simple, track the signal, and rescue his brother, Echo.
"Well then I guess it's time for we to left, guys, but first, can I talk to you for a second?" Hunter said towards Anakin and Rex.
"Sure" Said Rex in a serious tone.
"We're waiting on the ship" Tech said and the group walked back to the ship. Crosshair looked once again to Anakin before leaving.
"Well, I think it might be a trap. I'm in, but I still suspect it's a trap to get us." Hunter was confused about the mission, he wanted to believe that Echo was really alive, but he couldn't trust that Separatists would keep a clone alive.
"I understand Hunter, but I have strong reasons to believe that. I appreciate your help." Rex was sure of his position, and he wouldn't change his mind that easily.
"Oh Rex, can we go do that little thing now?" Anakin said as he looked directly at Rex.
"Oh sir, we don't have time for that right now" Rex was confused, clearly not wanting to contratic Anakin but was really eager to go after his brother.
"Yes, we do" Anakin's voice was strong, as he arched an eyebrow at Rex and gave a slight nod. He wouldn't change his mind.
Hunter was very confused about what was going on there, but just said goodbye and that he would wait on the ship, for them to left.
~
"Boys, I just witnessed a funny scene over there with Captain Rex and General Skywalker," Hunter said as he entered the ship. Everyone was seated awaiting his return, and upon hearing Hunter's voice, all attentions turned to him.
"And what scene was that, Hunter?" Crosshair was curious because from the tone Hunter mentioned, it wasn't common.
"Ahh even Crosshair wants to know, go Hunter, speak" Wrecker said as he punched Crosshair on the shoulder.
"It wasn't a big deal guys, but they were acting weird, with little secrets, it looks like General Skywalker wanted to do something but Captain Rex wasn't really into it." Hunter chuckled, and the others just mumble some words that Crosshair didn't understand.
"Well, if it was their thing and they didn't tell you, then they clearly didn't want you to be involved" Crosshair was serious as he spoke and stared at Hunter, his voice was harsh, and even he didn't quite understand what he was feeling. He took the toothpick out of his mouth and left the ship without looking at the others.
"What's wrong with him?" Wrecker looked confused and watched Crosshair exit the ship in front of him.
"He's been acting weird since Hunter told us about the mission, but if we know Crosshair, he won't say anything" Tech spoke casually and turned his attention back to into his datapad.
Hunter just watched him leave the ship, decided not to go after his brother, and just left him alone for a while.
Crosshair walked to a pile of some big packages next to the ship and sat down, in the dark and alone with his own feelings. "As far as I know, Jedi can't have romantic relationships" Crosshair though, quietly to himself. "But why am I thinking this?" When he realized what he was thinking about General Skywalker, he was even more confused. He couldn't be jealous, because it just didn't make sense, he barely knew General Skywalker.
Admiration. That was it, Crosshair admired him and he was fulfilling a dream, silly, but the dream of working with him on a mission. But when he remembered the General's soft but firm voice, when he remembered the hair blowing in the wind, the way he spoke, the gentle smile and the brown eyes looking right at you... "Ah General Skywalker..." Crossahair's expression, which had previously been frowning, now softened as he remembered Anakin.
Now that he knows Anakin's face, he could picture him on missions, destroying battle droid with his lightsaber, giving orders to the others, doind whatever Jedi thing he wanted to do.
But again Crosshair's mind returned to Anakin and Rex, what was so important they needed to do that it couldn't wait? And why couldn't they tell anyone? Crosshair was completely lost, resting his elbows on his shoulder and lowering his head to concentrate on what was happening there, and try to understand his own feelings about the situation.
"Hey Crosshair, right?" Anakin's voice echoed through the dark outside the base. Crosshair felt his heart pounding, and quickly raised his head and saw Anakin walking towards him waving his right hand.
"Yes General, it's me" Crosshair again frowned and stood up to receive Anakin, trying to keep himself serious and not look nervous or anything.
"Oh perfect, we are going to leave, alright? Can you call the others and meet us on that ship over there? Sorry for the delay, I was solving some pending issues." Anakin was serious but his voice was just soft as before.
"Jedi stuff?" Crosshair tried to look casual as he walked towards the general in front of him. He couldn't help but notice how gorgeous he looks with the low lights on him.
"Yeah… things that Jedi shouldn't be doing… B-But that's not the point right now…" Anakin looked a little confused and smiled crookedly putting his hand over his head. "We will be waiting on the ship." Anakin said and turned to walk towards it.
"Of course, we'll be there soon." Crosshair said in a low voice as he placed a toothpick in his mouth. Anakin's reaction made him even more confused and curious about what happened, he stood for a few minutes, just watching Anakin walk away, while he was completely absorbed in thought.
Anakin's voice echoed in his mind "things that Jedi shouldn't be doing" what did that mean? Why would Rex be involved? Crosshair frowned, and walked to the ship slowly as his mind traveled with thoughts of Anakin.
"General Skywalker called us, said we're on our way" Crosshair's voice was low and serious, as usual, and he walked over to his sniper gun and helmet.
The others took their things and left the Havoc Marauder towards the ship where Anakin was.
Crosshair was the last on to leave, he was nervous. His frown was quickly hidden by his helmet. He took his sniper and left the ship, following his brothers. His eyes were fixed on Anakin. So beautiful and so mysterious.
He entered the ship, and it took flight. The mission would finally begin, Crosshair was anxious for the first time in his life. He would finally work alongside Anakin Skywalker and couldn't wait for what was to come.

"A SurPRICE Visit"
Gary 'Roach' Sanderson
Task Force 141
400 meters outside Augustus' Mountain Base
Germany
The winds were picking up when they landed and Roach flew about a few more meters away from Price.
"This EMP blast is messing with my signals. Captain, can you find Roach?" Ghost spoke over comms, his voice crumbled over the static.
"He landed not too far from me. Come on boy, let's get a head on." Price replied to Ghost as he helped Gary get up and untangle himself from his mess. Gary nodded and followed his Captain into the edge of the mountain.
"There it is. Augustus' base." he mused as Gary scoped through his supressed silencer. Trucks were leaving the area filled with armed hostiles.
"Ghost, you see this? They're leaving the hive." Price informed the recon man.
"Aye, sir. Looks like they're headed to Alex's direction. If we time this right you'll have less people inside there." he replied. Gary wondered why they were leaving. It didn't make sense to back-up an already reclaimed base back at Alex's.
"Let's go Roach. I'll take the one on the left tower, you take the one on the right. I'm currently spotting four Tangos by the gate. Fire when ready." Price instructed. Roach took a deep breath to steady his sights, quickly pulling the trigger once the crosshairs aligned with their heads.
"Good kill. Your sniper skills are improving, Sargeant." Price mused as he signaled them to move forward. For a Captain who's left him a solid first impression as a strict angryman, Roach didn't expect the kind words from him. It almost felt overwhelming.
"You go ahead and take what's important inside that guardhouse. I'll cover you from this position." he commanded and Gary sprung safely into action, switching to his suppressed pistol and into the guardhouse.
It was simple, a few cameras, some photos of people who they let in and a few map layouts. Gary quickly snapped all of them for Ghost to see. Roach also grabbed the radio and placed it near his ear. Gary set his sights on an AK-47 lying on the ground.
"Roach, be careful when using unsuppressed weapons. It might reveal our existence." Price muttered to which he nodded. It just made sense.
"Jäeger, kopierst du?" the radio muttered. Roach's German wasn't on point and any non-reply from the other end would result in an investigation.
"Ja, alles klar." he replied, trying to replicate the accent. There was no more reply on the other side which meant Gary actually nailed his reply.
"Captain, behind that door is heavily guarded. I suggest a reroute to the back door just a few meters east of your position. This isn't Augustus' base, it's a remote research facility studying plant life by the border and he seemed to take it over." Ghost informed after gathering the photos, Gary waited on the edge of the wall covering his Captain's six. The duo proceeded as suggested and climbed over an unguarded fence.
"We're at a greenhouse. Labeled 6." Price whispered.
"Do you see any cameras?" Ghost asked.
"Yeah. Looking at the plants." he muttered.
"Circle around it and find cover behind the safehouse labeled 5. If my German is correct, the central area should have 2 scientists on their way in there." Ghost informed.
"Right on schedule." Price nodded to Roach as they both knocked them down quietly and non-lethally as they were civilians. Gary quickly slung his weapon and hid it behind the huge white lab coat the both of them now wore.
"Keep your weapons hidden, until I say so. Okay?" Price said as he pulled the bodies somewhere hidden. Gary nodded as they confidently waltzed inside the base, using their fake ids pinned on their coats for entry.
Gary watched a lot of sci-fi fics and most of them depicted labs as white walled, glass-divided rooms with hundreds of scientists working on some random machineries. Except here, it's plants. It seemed normal as if they infiltrated the wrong base. Price seemed to worry too, his steps were further apart and he seemed to be in a hurry. They were losing hope on a lead, until one armed guard, different from those outside started climbing up the stairs.
"Finally. Some good news." Price muttered as they made their way up the stairs.
"Authorized personnel only." an armed guard stood by the steps blocking the duos way. It was too crowded and too risky to engage him and press through and they both needed a new plan.
"Es tut mir leid." Gary replied as he pulled Price to the restrooms.
"It's no use. We can't go guns ablazing right here." he noted to his Captain.
"Bollocks." he cursed.
"We need a diversion." He added.
"Way ahead of you, Sir." Gary smirked and showed him his c4 trigger, pushed it and an explosion followed.
"Nice. By the guard house?" Price asked while they waited for reinforcements to assist the blast.
"Yeah."
"Quick thinking lad. I like that."
Several armed men came rushing down the stairs, yelling in a different language, all going to the exit. They stomped to the stairs and carefully breached the second floor of the building, shooting armed tangos using suppressed weapons. They had to act fast and stomp on their comms as soon as they're down so that the others outside will not fall back.
Ten guards were left behind to protect the second floor, and with the help of stealth, Gary and Price took them out smoothly. All that's left are the intel waiting to be harvested.
Gary snapped all possible evidence, every nook and cranny was investigated while Price tapped his heavy fingers on the keyboard.
"Looks like they're going large. They're planting something by the major cities cell towers. Here's one in Berlin." he muttered, printing a copy of the blueprints.
"Price! R-ch" Ghost's static crackled across their comms.
"Th- found- guards!
Get. Out. There. NOW." he added.
"Kill every civilian in there. That will let our little friends out of the shadows. I know they're after us…" a menacing voice said over Roach's stolen receiver.
"Shite. They're killing civvies." Gary said, worried.
"I'm sorry Roach. But we can't save them. It's a trap. Now protect that camera and let's get the fuck out of here." Price consoled as they continued pressing on toward the exit.
Screaming people followed by gunshots echoed across the white halls of the research facility, Gary didn't want to look back, Gary didn't want to hear any more screaming but it was all around him. Whoever commanded this act to be done must be eradicated from this world.
LOCAL MILITIA SETTLEMENT
Alex greeted the duo as soon as they stepped inside the village. It felt lively as everyone was celebrating their victory.
"Captain." Alex nodded and Price returned the gesture with a handshake.
"This is Blitz. Their leader." he added, introducing the man to Price.
"Thank you for helping us." Price acknowledged.
"No. Thank you for helping us. You have good men fighting for a good cause." he remarked, nodding at Alex and Gary. Gary also got acquainted with the leader, exchanged a few words and got offered soup.
"Tough day, huh?" Alex nudged over Gary, who's still sad about the situation earlier.
"You and me, both." Gary muttered as Alex patted his shoulder.
"We'll get him soon enough, Roach. Justice will be served." Alex consoled as Gary took a deep sigh.
"They're planting EMP bombs on major cell towers. Maybe incorporating it with them to perform large scale blasts." Gary pondered, taking a sip off the delicious soup.
"Yeah. That's our go signal. It's now a terror activity. Imagine a day without communication. International trade would crumble." Alex explained to which Gary nodded in agreement.
"Global cripple. People's minds get hurt, Economy gets hurt and we aren't focused enough to defend ourselves."
"That's what he's up to." Gary finished.
"And we have to stop it. Whatever It Takes." Alex looked at Gary with determination, that kind of pep talk that makes him a little less sad.
"Yeah." Gary agreed.
~
Another briefing, but this time, it was going somewhere. Operation Burn, the task is to eliminate Nero and all his allies, if possible. Funny enough, the real Nero burned everyone else. Whoever thought of this name was smart enough to connect the dots.
There's another person added to the team, the redhead leather jacket agent, Alexandra Ryder. An interpol agent tasked to destroy all traces of said EMP machinery. She looks tough, acts tough and basically is tough. France seemed to be going along well with her. That's a bonus for alliances such as these.
"So, I heard Price noted your sniper improvement." Ghost nudged.
"Yeah. Thanks Simon. Your training sucks but it helped a lot." Gary complimented.
"Tried talking to France and the new girl today." Ghost reported. Gary turned to him, clearly interested about his story.
"It was actually good. They're both intimidated by the mask and that's why they can't initiate conversation with me. But the talk went pretty well so I guess you needed to update your scoreboard or something." He muttered.
Gary chuckled. "That's one step towards her."
"I'll let the Interpol handle Berlin. Since it involves just the weapon, as for other news. I think it's time to transfer our two hostages back to the USA." Gary quickly turned his head back to the screen. No. It can't be. He had to stop this decision.
"With all due respect sir. I do not agree with this!" Gary stood up and all eyes were on him. He's still concerned about the welfare of the two plus he didn't want Maxine to leave. Not yet.
"I've read the report on their case sir. And it's not that I don't trust the system there but what if there's still another one in there with ties to Nero. He was able to slip by under our noses once or more times than that but let's consider the possibilities here." Gary explained as he looked around. Alex seemed to agree with him.
Shepherd let out a soft sigh.
"We'll discuss this possibility Sgt. Sanderson. You can sit down now." he said and resumed briefing.
"Brave move you did there, soldier." Ghost remarked as Gary let out a sigh. He wasn't sure on he's really concerned, the IP Address being extracted from Samantha or Maxine's smile that he will be missing if she left.

As mentioned already, Eirin will be leading and setting up Stealth Rock. After that, it's really up in the air who comes out. Scyther, Scizor and Heracross all have Fighting type moves. Heracross or Scyther, and I'll go Sekibanki, who has (needlessly) been taught Power Gem (because I forgot Rocks will be up at this point so Scyther will die to anything anyways) for Scyther and Moonblast for Hera. She's holding an Expert Belt and is technically over the level cap but whatever, she's never let me down before. If it's Scizor, we go Sukuna and get the Intimidate off. Superpower will further lower Scizor's stats, making it so that I should just be able to kill it with a couple Waterfalls from Sukuna. For this reason, ideally we want Heracross or Scyther to come in on Eirin, as that way one of those guys will be freely taken care of for free. On Sukuna, Armaldo or Drapion will be coming in wanting to Earthquake. If we manage to get Armaldo first, we'll Intimidate pivot it to nothingness and then set up a Swords Dance with Remilia, who is holding Leftovers - then win from there. The less chances we give Drapion to utilize that Sniper Scope Lens, the better. If it comes to that, we're just going to use Remilia and pray.
Hina and Yuuma, both Bug-weak, are kind of on the sidelines for this one. With that said, I have them both prepared to function as a kind of back-up. Hina is holding a Kebia (poison-resist) berry. If Drapion gets out of hand, I'm hoping Hina will be able to come in on a Night Slash that's targeting Remilia, survive a Cross Poison with her Kebia Berry, and get a Sleep Powder off. Crits could obviously affect this plan. Yuuma on the other hand is holding a Focus Sash. If we end up with last mon Scyther and my whole team is weak from all their work, Yuuma can switch in on whatever Scyther does, live on 1hp, and finish off the remaining 50% of its health with Technician-boosted Ice Shard. Based on how I think the game is going to go, I'd say the odds of this happening are actually pretty high, so that's something to look forward to, maybe. Here we go!
The beginning of the battle went like CLOCKWORK, exactly as I expected things to happen. We got rid of Heracross for free, Scizor came in, and Sukuna handled it (for free). This brought in...
Tumblr media
Armaldo! Which means we can set up with Remilia! Switching around Armaldo got a little weird, it's almost like the AI got confused. Because Hina was no longer needed as a backup, I used her as a pivot in-between Remilia and Sukuna, eating the Stone Edges that Armaldo hit Remilia with and letting Sukuna come in on weak X-Scissors instead. Ultimately, Remilia set up two Swords Dances and cleanly swept. I considered bringing in Yuuma to finish off the Scyther anyways, but decided against the unnecessary potential for something to go wrong. Aaron was so easy, maybe this won't be too bad after all???
Tumblr media
Bertha. My word, what a stressful image. I just don't want Rocks on my side of the field, it's stressful - so I'm going to try to come up with some way to one-shot the Hippo. Rindo Berry Swampert looks intimidating at first, but Hina will handle it no problem. On the subject of Hina, actually, I bet I can just Sleep Powder the Hippo and then 2HKO with Giga Drain. But it's essential that I get a layer of hazards up this game to break the Sash of Rhyperior later,,, and Eirin is absolutely useless in this match-up - everyone is a physical attacker. Then there's the matter of the Guillotine Gliscor... How am I e- wait hang on. Gliscor cannot touch Sekibanki. Hahaha. So basically, the second Gliscor comes in, I win so long as I have hazards up. I can use it to get to +6 with Calm Mind on Banki. Problem is, it's not like I have anything to bait it in on purpose. But if I get lucky, I get lucky. We'll see.
There's just so much to do here at the beginning. I'd like to a) prevent rocks, b) set up my own hazards and c) get rid of the sand. If you recall, last time I actually did something hilarious and used Sunny Day and Solar Beam on Hina to just immediately plow through Bertha's entire team. But this time, Bertha has both Hippo AND T-tar.
I was really mulling over this when I remembered one very important detail - there is a Pokemon who can BEAUTIFULLY perform every role I want it to.
Tumblr media
With just a couple TMs, Remilia has gone from a powerful set-up sweeper to an incredible utility mon. God, I LOVE Gligar. Heat Rock is unnecessary I think, it matters more that the sand is gone than that the sun is present.
Hina has temporarily set aside her infamous Big Root in order to take up Expert Belt for this one - I felt GIga Drain could use some extra oomph to ensure that Rhyperior and Hippo go down more easily. Swampert will be easy to handle with Sleep Powder, Avalanch will be like a piece of paper touching Hina unless I actually attack. Hina has also learned Sunny Day, as has Sekibanki. I've given Sukuna a Chople Berry in case I need to do any Intimidate pivoting and the AI fucks up. If Yuuma somehow comes in, it basically means I've already lost, but regardless, I gave her a Choice Band just in case. Here goes nothin.
Hippo goes down smoothly, thankfully no Stone Edge crits. This brings in Ttar who would like to get a Fire Punch off on Hina. I don't doubt her ability to tank it, but I think the better play will be to pivot to Sukuna here on the Fire Punch, then to Remilia on the Thunder Punch - then set the sun back up and take Ttar out with EQ.
Tumblr media
The sun is back up. Remilia can take another Stone Edge, but the prospect of a crit is terrifying. The question is, will Earthquake kill Ttar from that range? Now might be a good time to briefly talk about Remilia's EV spread.
Tumblr media
I don't remember where I found this, or if I calc'd it myself to figure something out, or what, but this 224 Speed with 160 attack and 124 HP has been so insanely bulky that sometimes I forget I'm not 252+ Bold - and I think that the extra Attack EVs really come in clutch in order to make sure Gligar gets those crucial kills on the popular Electric types. That said, based on my calc, it looks like we're going to need to risk a Stone Edge crit.
160 Atk Gligar Earthquake vs. 88 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 192-228 (52.8 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
I don't see any other way around it. Whew. I almost had a heart attack, but Remilia managed to avoid a crit. She's alive,,, which means, that both sand-setters are dead, and Hina can freely come in on the incoming Swampert and finish out the game! Playing around it is incredibly simple, I just Leech Seed, then Sunny Day, then Sleep Powder. Leech Seed at this point has gotten it in range of Giga Drain through Rindo Berry, so we aren't scared of a Mirror Coat even if Swampert wakes up. The sun is shining, Hina is at full HP... on days like these, kids like you,
Rhyperior comes out and Expert Belt-boosted Giga Drain gets the clean one-shot! Even if we missed out on it, I believe Hina could eat a Megahorn with literally no issue. She's just indestructible. I love her. Thanks to Chlorophyll, we somehow outspeed Dugtrio, knocking it out as well. And there's absolutely no reason to stay in and risk Hina to Gliscor when we have a literal counter! Gliscor starts Double-Teaming, so to avoid using too much PP trying to hit it, I'm going to go ahead and boost up to +4 before I even attack. I have 17 Moonblasts. Surely one of them will hit through +4 Evasion, right?
Not gonna lie, Gliscor started spamming Protect, and I got a little scared. Thankfully, one of my Moonblasts did in fact hit. Bertha has been conquered.
Tumblr media
Next up is Flint, and my dude is no joke. From the get-go, I'm terrified of Ninetales landing a Hypnosis and some fortunate Fire Blasts on Eirin. The top priority will be setting up a Rain Dance with Eirin as quickly as possible. From here it gets a little tough to predict. Most likely, I see Infernape coming in on Eirin. Because of rain, Infernape shouldn't see a kill with Flare Blitz, which means switching into Sekibanki on the CC should always be free. Sekibanki has a pretty important role to play here - she's been given Choice Specs and taught the move Psychic to take care of Infernape. The problem then is that nothing hits Sekibanki super-effectively, but the good news is that the only remaining problem is Rapidash - though to be fair, Rapidash has been the scariest from the start. I'm going to try handling it with some pivoting, but most likely at the end of the day, it'll be Expert Belt Remilia who takes care of that. Hina, equipped with an Occa Berry, and Yuuma, equipped once again with a Sash and taught Dig, will sit this one out if everything goes according to plan. Eirin definitely has a lot on her plate this round, but I believe in her.
First turn, Ninetales goes for a Solar Beam. What a dummy, but the AI in this game seems to want to click Solar Beam no matter what if the sun is up. Eirin took NOTHING (literally 0 after Leftovers recovery) as expected and set up the rain, so even if we get put to sleep now, we have nothing to fear. Not only that, but Ninetales is continuing to use Solar Beam even now that the rain is up XD
Infernape came in as predicted, but the rain was already gone because I got too hasty and didn't set it back up the turn I woke up from sleep. Oops. Thankfully, Infernape goes for CC anyways, so the switch to Sekibanki is pulled off without any problems. Specs Psychic OHKOs (I should have calcd this), and the big problem comes in - Rapidash. I go Sukuna first on the anticipated Flare Blitz, but for whatever reason Rapidash seemed to really want to use its Power Herb Bounce. It uh, bounces, off Sukuna, so predicting a Drill Run next, I go into Remi. Remilia OHKOS with Earthquake and I'm starting to think I really blew the Rapidash threat out of proportion. At this point, Houndoom comes in, but first of all, since the sun isn't up there's no way this thing one-shots me, second of all, thanks to Hyper Cutter Remilia is still at full strength, blocking Intimidate, and third, I'm pretty sure I'm going to outspeed this thing. I EQ again and Houndoom goes down.
This brings in Magmortar who is genuinely kind of scary - however, a quick calc reveals that with my 160 attack investment, I kill after Rocks chip even if its a bulkier variant. Remilia what would I do without you darling. The last Pokemon on Flint's side is a Choice Scarf Moltres - but Eirin is at nearly full HP. This battle is over and won.
Tumblr media
Looking at Lucian's team closer, there's actually not all that much to be scared of. I should be able to prevent Espeon from passing, Lati is Specs so Eirin + Yuuma/Sekibanki/Remilia aren't scared of it at all, et cetera. The problem, though, is that that Gallade is TERRIFYING. Genuinely, a single thing goes wrong, and I could wipe to that. That's not to mention the Metagross. However, there's potentially a way for me to win this one really easily. If I lead Leftovers Sekibanki against the Mime, I can start setting up Calm Minds as it sets up Screens. I'll keep setting up until the Light Screen fades, at which point, provided I haven't been haxed in some way, I'll have +6 Sp Atk and Sp Def. Gallade and Metagross are definitely slower than me, and if Zam IS faster, it's not like I'll take much from even Life Orb Shadow Ball at +6 Sp Def. This is a little cheesy, but I think it's my best option. That said, it's probably still worth preparing some things in the back just in case things don't go according to plan. --- Preparations have been made, but I kind of doubt I'll make it through this one if Sekibanki doesn't just straight sweep.
So,, turn 1, Sekibanki sets up a Calm Mind, and Mr. Mime, like an idiot, sets up Reflect. Who do you think you're looking at pal? Which made me realize that Sekibanki... really only needs +1 to sweep this entire team. I know that she's technically past the level cap (I basically exclusively used her in Stark Mountain, at that point I didn't know if I'd even be rechallenging the E4 or not) but that's not even necessary here. Even a single level of advantage would gaurantee Banki a one-shot on a significantly health-invested Metagross. Sweeping now is, I think, a smarter idea than fully setting up and risking Psychic crits from Mr. Mime. So LET'S GO SEKIBANKI SHOW THEM WHAT UR MADE OF
Tumblr media
(so satisfying)
Zam did outspeed, and a crit Shadow Ball WOULD have killed me. But! To be fair, a crit Shadow Ball would have killed me at +6 anyways! That does have me a little worried about Latios, though. Oh god.
Lvl 87 252 SpA Choice Specs Latios Psychic vs. +1 Lvl 92 40 HP / 0 SpD Misdreavus: 138-163 (55.2 - 65.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
So Lati comes in, I'm pretty sure this thing is faster than me, and I'm basically at exactly 50% HP after my two turns of Leftovers recovery. Psychic will definitely kill me here if I stay in, and here's the problem: Gallade, the one Pokemon I truly fear, is still in the back. This Sekibanki sweep WAS my way of dealing with Gallade.
I start panicking... but remember when I said I did some prep? >:D
Tumblr media
IN COMES YUUMA ON A SPECS PSYCHIC, BABY! I can set up Swords Dance and OHKO Gallade when it switches in! Even if I don't OHKO, Yuuma is holding on to a Focus Sash and will be able to finish it off the next turn, then outspeed and finish off Lati! This! Is a W! Lati stays in anyways, so I set up two SDs just to be 100% safe. Two Ice Punches later and Cynthia is the only thing that stands in my way!
Tumblr media
I mulled over Cynthia's team for quite a while. First I considered trying another Sekibanki sweep, but Lucario's Bullet Punch and a potential ScarfChomp Stone Edge crit make that too risky. I could hypothetically try something like Calm Mind, Moonblast, Rest, Sleep Talk holding a Babiri Berry to live Lucario BP... And that does sound kinda fun, but ScarfChomp Stone Edge is still scary.
So, I came up with a plan. I'll lead Specs Sekibanki and take out Spiritomb, which will bring in Lucario. This Lucario set really doesn't threaten Sukuna, so I'll bring her in and somewhat slowly take him down with Waterfalls, Protects, and his own Life Orb damage. Obviously more than 1 Meteor Mash raise could be scary. This will bring in either Rayquaza or Garchomp, and there's a funny thing about Ray and Chomp here... both of them are (almost) completely walled by Sekibanki. When I first saw Dragon Dance Rayquaza I was terrified, but that's when I realized the only move it can hit Banki with is Overheat, lol. That Dragon Dance won't be relevant even if Ray does come in on Sukuna! But I think perhaps more likely, ScarfChomp will come in on Sukuna. For that occasion, Remilia will come in, get up rocks, and maybe just win from there? Milotic and Togekiss are scary but ultimately I feel Eirin + Sukuna will be able to outstall Milotic and Eirin should be able to 1v1 Togekiss bar it getting every hax roll it wants. Togekiss is definitely the scariest thing though, I think. Well, I feel like the Remilia thing is most likely to happen. We'll deal with Togekiss and Milotic when we get there.
Tumblr media
I love this little touch to this hack.
Spiritomb goes down to a Specs Moonblast, in comes Luke. Proceed with the plan as usual. No attack raise on Mash, sir. Protect for Black Sludge. Luke HJKs and crashes. Idiot. Might as well set up a layer of Spikes honestly, why not. Protect again. Now we Waterfall. Sukuna has a pretty high base Attack so she's stronger than you'd think. Lucario's Life Orb brings it into the red, so we take advantage of the Full Restore turn with another Waterfall. It's probably out of HJKs now but might as well Protect for Black Sludge recovery regardless. Mm nope it had one more, it crashed, then Waterfall took it out. IN COMES CHOMP! I believe that means we win boys. Protect to see what it locks itself into - type this sentence in another tab as the text passes, miss what it is. I'm just gonna make a safe assumption that it is, in fact, Earthquake. Remilia time baby. Remilia is in against Scarf EQ, first we set up Rocks to break Rayquaza's Sash, and now we set up three Swords Dances to gaurantee the kill on Milotic >:>
Got a TINY bit anxious watching Milotic's health bar slowly go down, but we're plus 6. We're coasting. She's down, and Ray's in. We'll Rock Climb to take care of it and Togekiss.
Tumblr media
And with this, I have TRULY conquered Renegade Platinum... using my beautiful assortment of cross generational, initially stand-alone evolutions. No Ultramarine Orb Elixir uses, no deaths. I am so proud of them.
Genuinely, the Pokemon I used in this playthrough have become some of my favorites of all time. Eventually, I'll definitely be doing this same challenge in games other than Renegade Platinum.
Cross Evo Arc All-in-One Finale 2
Tumblr media
Now that the Battle Frontier is behind me, it's time for the second run of the Elite Four, the TRUE finale of Renegade Platinum, levels shockingly scaled perfectly for where my party happens to be (honestly the level curve in Renegade Platinum is SO impressively executed and balanced). I'm sure you don't want to meticulously comb through the details of the above image, so let me give you the rundown. The good news is that this time, we don't have to worry about prepping for TWENTY possible teams, as the Elite 4 members here don't have 4 potential teams that show up. The bad news is that among this mass of text is some pretty unfair stuff! The highlights:
Bertha's Guillotine Gliscor
Lucian's CM+Baton Pass Espeon
Lucian's Latios
Lucian's Explosion Metagross
Cynthia's Focus Sash Rayquaza
Guillotine Gliscor and Explosion Metagross, oh boy. And these are just the tip of the iceburg of the struggles that lie ahead. So I cleared my team and took a look at my box of beautiful NFEs, and built a team from scratch as I tried to imagine handling each one of the Elite 4 members. You likely won't be surprised that the team ended up the exact same six reliable members.
Tumblr media
Eirin is a must-have for obvious reasons, but most notably, she'll be leading against Aaron and Flint, ignoring the damage from Yanmega and Ninetales and setting up rocks. She also conveniently baits Fighting type moves which should reliably allow for switches into either Sukuna for Intimidates or Sekibanki for her Immunity.
I'd like to point out just how much defensive synergy these six have. Time and time again I've been rescued by pivoting between Sukuna and Remilia/Hina/Sekibanki. This allows me to continously get Intimidates off on big threats while taking no damage from what is usually Earthquake. Sukuna also reliably baits Electric type moves that Remilia can come in on and, thanks to Remilia''s solid 105 base Attack and 85 base Speed as well as the general strength of Earthquake, usually kill whatever threat instantly. Many an Electivire and Luxray have been dealt with this way. Sukuna ALSO frequently baits Psychic type attacks, which allow for free switches into the very frail but strong Yuuma. Though Eirin and Yuuma are weak to fighting, our two resists and one immunity are usually able to completely patch up that weakness - and that's not to mention the fact, as we saw last time in this challenge, Hina's bulk borders that of the gods.
This is going to be a wild ride. I prepped my team for Aaron, and with that, it begins.

Beast of the Darkness I
Pairing: Bucky Barnes/ winter-soldier X OFC/ reader AU
Wordcount: 2580
Summary: meet the winter-soldier, one of Hydra’s most skilled and deadliest assets, and the enormous fire-breathing creature that has always been by his side.
Author’s note: I like watching avengers movies, and I like watching Sebastian stan as the winter-soldier even more ;), but I’m no marvel expert and so there may be some canon mistakes. Also, these writings are based on the movies, I haven’t read the comics…
Furthermore, English is not my first language so grammar and spelling mistakes are sure to follow! Sorry ‘bout that.
This is my first fanfiction, so please give it some love!! I’m always open for constructive criticism and feedback and when this piece is received well, I will continue writing next chapters :)!
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
It was cold outside, when an elderly man walked out of the small block hut that was perched on one of the plateaus of the Yablonovy mountains. The quiet night, which was only disturbed by the occasional whistling of the cold night-time wind, gave the nuclear engineer a sense of calmness and serenity. As he made his way down the small path that led down the mountain, the man could only think off the staples of money that he would be presented with, when he would hand over these new drafts to his client. The contents of these papers, which he had only just finished drawing last evening, have the power to change everything change everything; they could redefine modern warfare and potentially make things we once considered impossible, possible. Just thinking about all the fame and acknowledgement his ideas would bring him, made the men want to reach his awaiting vehicle as fast as possible, so he increased his walking speed, practically skipping down the mountain trail.
Too caught up in his own haste and excitement, he was oblivious to the pair of eyes following his every move.
Another man was crouched between the few bushes and trees that were scattered on the surface of the mountain, waiting, assessing, watching. He was silently following his target from a safe distance, when a sudden sound behind him caused him to whip around, bionic arm raised and holding his gun, pointing at whoever had been able to sneak up on him. However, when emerald glowing eyes met steel blue ones, the offending weapon was lowered and the winter-soldier gestured for his partner to follow him.
They followed a more direct route, swiftly moving over the more uneven and slipperier rocks of the mountain. Arriving at a ledge that gave them the perfect view of the squad team that had been appointed to pick up their target, they waited until it was their time to strike. As they stood there, next to each other, the eyes of the winter soldier were drawn to his companion.
She wore her stealth suit, a pitch-black and form fitting catsuit, with a belt that hung low on her hips. Some smaller, but nonetheless lethal, knifes were attached to the belt, but she rarely used them. She didn’t fight a lot. He followed the zipper that went from her lower back to the base of her neck where the tips of her hair just barely touched her skin. She had her hair up in a ponytail, however, a few stubborn strands still hung loosely around her face, caressing her the top of her cheeks. She had very sharp features, only further highlighted by the light of the moon that shone upon them. He had a feeling she would have had more rounded facial features, if she would have been more well-fed. Now she only just got enough scraps of food to prevent malnourishment. He looked at her face; starting by her lips, he followed the arch of her nose bridge up to her her eyes.
Emerald eyes that were looking right at him.
His eyes widened and the he turned his head away quickly, feeling strangely discomposed after having been caught staring. After a few minutes of looking down the ledge without really seeing anything, he dared to let his gaze wander once again.
She was still looking at him, but her eyes seemed to soften when their gazes met. They always seemed to do that. Always when he met her eyes, he was greeted by a welcoming gaze. Never a smile, but always kind eyes.
She suddenly opened her mouth, as if to say something, but she never got the chance as at that exact moment the engineer arrived at the clearing below. The soldier swiftly removed his sniper riffle from his back just as his partner silently looked through her scope and they work together to get everything in the right position.
He looked through his own scope, inhaled, exhaled and pulled the trigger.
 ......
It should have been an easy mission, follow the target without being noticed, silently set up the equipment, shoot, get the papers and disappear. It’s what they’ve always done and this time shouldn’t have been any different.
And yet is was. he missed his shot.
How he could have missed, would always be a mystery to him. Whether it were her lips that had distracted him when they had set up their shot or if had been the small whiff of her smell which he had caught right before he pulled the trigger, he would never know. All that mattered now, was that he had to kill that engineer and get the documents.
He jumped of the cliff, and fought his way to the target. His partner stayed up the cliff. She wasn’t as skilled as he was in combat and was more of a means to disappear. He hit the first agent that dared to approach him squarely in the face, ducked the fists of another one before punching him in the stomach making the person double over. He hit one on the head with the barrel one of his smaller guns and then shot two others that immediately fell to the ground.
Withing a matter of seconds he had reached the now screaming and trembling engineer. The old man started to slowly walk backwards, arms outstretched as one would do when approached by a dangerous animal, but he fell to the ground after having stumbled on a small rock that stuck out of the ground.
The soldier was about to jump on him and crush his windpipe with his metal hand, but instead his path was blocked by an agent who went to stand in front of the engineer, covering him. Her eyes reminded him of someone from his past, someone he had met before, however he didn’t have time to ponder and search his memory. He raised his gun, and shot right through the abdomen of the agent and into the chest of the man still lying on the ground behind her. With his metal arm he threw the shot agent to the side and crouched beside the dead body of the engineer. He snatched the briefcase from his cold grasp and without sparing either of them a second glance he looked up again and briefly scanned his surroundings. There were still a few agents left and he knew he could easily take them all on. The only thing stopping him from killing all witnesses, was that in a few moments their back-up would probably arrive, and seeing that as little people as possible should be aware of his existence, he chose to run instead.
However, he did not run back up the mountain. Instead he sprinted in the opposite direction, to the edge of the clearing which was around 900 meters above ground level. Though their current whereabouts weren’t as high as their starting point near the block hut, a fall from this altitude would undoubtedly end his life.
Still, he jumped.
The feeling of falling would always feel weird to the soldier. Even though he was speeding towards the ground at incredible speed, it felt as if he was flying. Falling felt free, as if for once he could close his eyes and just think. He could think about who he had been before all this misery had started and consider who he was now. There had to be something before he was forced to take orders from other people and had to kill in order not to be killed himself. Hydra is all he can remember, but he also remembers that he had been around this age when he had woken up and sent out on missions with his brand new metal arm. Despite the fact that their organization had many scientist amongst them, he was positive they had not yet found a way to create life, meaning he wasn’t born within Hydra. He must have had parents and perhaps even brothers or sisters, maybe even friends. He never really had time to ponder about his past in between the mission reports, cryofreezing and missions themselves, so he relished the moments where he was free to just think.
A sudden rush of air and a loud roar suddenly halted his train of thought. He slowly opened his eyes and turned whilst still falling through the sky so that his stomach was now facing the rapidly approaching ground. He slowly inhaled and exhaled, far too calm for someone who was so close to smashing to the earth from such height. His body was just about the hit ground, an impact that would surely result in his immediate death, when a large black creature swooped beneath him. he curled his arms around its large neck and as it started to fly up again, he pulled his body to that of the beast, curling his legs around its torso.
As fast as he had fallen from the cliff, he was now rising again and in a blink of an eye they flew over the cliff again. At first the beast just hovered above the clearing looking at the frozen agents below them, when suddenly it released another loud roar and engulfed the clearing in flames, before flying away back to their headquarters.
They soared through the dark night sky and just before the soldier would once again succumb to the freeing feeling of flying, the creature looked back at him and its emerald eyes seemed to slightly soften at the sight of him.
  .....
Shield agent Natasha Romanoff fell to the ground, hand covering her abdomen, as she watched the winter soldier, one of the most deadly and skilled assassins she had ever encountered, run away. In his metal hand he held the briefcase that had been in the possession of the engineer just moments ago.
She had been appointed to protect him, the engineer that is, and the valuable information that he had carried with him, but when she had seen the soldier walk towards her, gun raised and firmly held in between the metal fingers of his metal arm, adorned with the red star that would forever be carved into her memory, she knew that the old man would never stand a chance.
Still, she tried to shield him, because that was what a hero would do. That was at least what she was trying to be now anyways: a hero. One of the good guys for once. Knowing that what she did was what she had to, made her feel a little better about the hole that was shot in her abdomen. Moreover, she had had worse wounds in the past and considering her profession, she would most likely get worse in the future. This was nothing she couldn’t handle.
She looked up just in time to see the winter soldier jump off the edge of the cliff. From what she recalled, he had not had a parachute bag on him and he hadn’t worn a wingsuit or anything of the like either. There was of course the possibility that some sort of aircraft would be awaiting him down  the cliff and catch him from the sky, but flying so near a mountain is dangerous. Even a highly skilled pilot would face tremendous difficulty were that to be true. Furthermore, they had a lot of backup and other squad teams covering the ground and perimeter. Landing or flying amidst all that would be unadvisable, even for a super-soldier such as the winter soldier.
Other agents seemed to realize this too, and they all started to rush over in order to peer over the edge of the cliff whilst whispering and murmuring amongst Themselves. A few medics that had just arrived moved over to her and gave her something to apply pressure to her wound before moving on to the other injured agents after she said she could handle it on her own. Whilst still applying pressure to her abdomen, she tried to move over to the vehicle that was meant to take the engineer away. She had just reached the car and was leaning against it, when a fast movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention.
A young woman, perhaps a few years younger than herself, had appeared out of nowhere and was now sprinting to the edge of the cliff as well. The agents that were looking over the edge of the cliff hadn’t noticed her yet and yelled in surprise when they were forcefully pushed aside by the stranger. They were taken by even more surprise when she jumped right after the super soldier.
The redhead started to really wonder why hydra would tell their assets to commit suicide, when the agents on the clearing screamed yet again, but this time in horror. A large black blur had surged upwards from the depths of the mountain and was now hovering over the clearing. She wouldn’t have been able to identify the creature at all if it weren’t for the dark outline of its form. The beast’s skin seemed even darker than the night sky, so pitch-black, that you could make out its silhouette against the black that was the color of the sky.
It opened its mouth and led out a bloodcurdling roar, before breathing fire in their general direction.
The agents on the cliff all searched for cover as huge flames spread across the clearing. The people that had stood by the edge had all been unfortunate enough to either have been burned alive or to have been hit by its strong tail and thrown of the cliff. As the few last remaining agents ran down the mountain, the flames spread further, and the creature rose once again. Natasha could see the beast more clearly now it had the white background of the moon behind it instead of the dark sky.
It looked like a dragon similar to those that appeared in children’s stories. It was huge, with midnight black scales adorning its body. It had a muscular chest, and the strong muscles seemed to contract and relax as it batted its bat-like wings. These wings were so strong that even she, from her place below on the mountain, could feel the enormous windblows it created. Attached to it its body was the long tail that had just moments before pushed at least 4 agents from the edge of the cliff and she could faintly make out the shining of razor sharp claws that were on either of its pentadactyl hands and feet. Evenly sharp were the rows of teeth that were displayed when the creature let out another thundering roar.
The deafening sound pulled her from the trance she had been in. She pulled her own fire weapon, raised her arm, whilst still applying pressure to her wound, and shot.
She saw how her bullet just barely grazed its target as the beast flew up again and away from the mountain range. Right before it disappeared again in the darkness of the night, her eyes caught the shimmer of metal that reflected the moonlight.
The next day, all people talked about the metal armed man that had ambushed them, jumped off a cliff and flew away on the back of a monster. A creature that had risen straight out of the depths of hell. An animal that was a creation of the devil himself. A creature of the darkness.

50 or so hours into Cyberpunk 2077
This should be roughly the correct amount of time, ive been leaving the game running as I get up to get food or do stretches. Quests are roughly in order I did them
non spoilers above cut:
i haven't found a single hat/helmet i like, and since you can't hide them I just am not wearing any. It matters that much.
I posted the other day about bugs, every few hours I play I find new bugs. some require me to go back and reload a save others I honestly can’t tell if it’s a bug or just really poor development
there are several perks that don’t quite do what the description says, like the Anamesis perk. Based on reddit and trying it out it seems to just not do anything.
sometimes in car chase segments the passenger will say “look out” as cars spawn in my path and hit me. Can’t tell if that was deliberate or a pop in issue
Yeah I’ve just totally given up on doing pacifist things unless required by a mission. Given up on doing stealth too unless a mission objective, except for sneaking around to set up a fight.
:readmore:
the delemain car quest is fun. From the shock of the one going "beep beep motherfucker" and doing a hit and run to start it off, to the GLADOS car i see a lot of people talking about. It was fun to explore the city when i might have missed places like the landfill apparently there is follow up on T-bug's death if you go back to the quick hack shop in Kabuki. It's not much but better than nothing I made the pass with Panam of "what if the room just had one bed". I know she won't do a wlw romance, which is fine since I wouldn’t have chosen her.  I enjoy her as a character, don’t get me wrong, my V considers her as a friend, but it seems like theres always drama going on which would be tiring. I would have gone for a fling, i like her leotard-pants combo with all the straps
but also her questline was buggy as hell. Multiple cases of having to reload due to clipping into objects, including her in a driving section, or just insta-dying when collision physics with some rocks broke "your neural network can no longer function independantly of the chip" me slapping my desk: s y m b i o te!!! come on lets have some s y m b i o s i s
in the scene with hellman i really liked how Johnny moved around the room. It made him feel like he was really there. it was hard to follow the convo as I left the room, i would not have understood it without subtitles. But i guess Takemura fucking waterboarded hellman. :|
lol I hope the dialogue is different b/c i refuse to smoke for Johnny
i am level 18 and still can't beat the first opponents in the fist fighting quest. ffs
I looked up the romances options so I went to do the I fought the law quest as soon as i got it. ACAB, but like I literally just met River Ward 2 minutes ago, and I really like him. His earring and cyborg eye, his big fluffy coat. I'm definitely gonna sleep with him Ok i like how when River Ward is dealing with the tiger claws if you interject it leads to a fight. It goes better if you follow his instructions and let him deal with it. Seriously I enjoy that sometimes its good to not pick a dialogue choice.
during the red queen club part, there was no dialogue over the phone. So i reloaded a save and got myself spotted and attacked. Then River showed up to help me <3 and it was more enjoyable having him there. I honestly am not sure if him not going to the club level is bug or not.
then uuuuuugh the worst of irl police "cops are my family" from Detective Han. Again ACAB "FRATERNITY OF CITY COPS RESEMBLES A [Nomad] CLAN NOT AT ALL" ok a few minutes ago i was complaining about bugs, but the character modeling in this game is good (when they're there). You can see body posture, characters jiggle their legs when they are nervous. Like I though character A was just throwing a cigarette on the ground, but then character B flinches back; I realize Char A threw it at B as a fuck you
I'm honestly curious if "I fought the Law" quest will have any impact later on. My choices were that I thought there was more going on than Holt being the only person behind this (based on how complicated the main questline heist is, and keeping an eye on some of the in game news), and told him not to take it to internal affairs, and I loved his response of how he doesn't give a shit what we think, he's doing it anyway.
In the elevator to report in, Johnny said "this muck is deeper than you think, tell them nothing", so i just said that the case was complicated. anyway i love how much of a sarcastic asshole V is
I thought i was being nonlethal with the monk quest, but it seems i accidently killed someone. RIP, but thats kind of the problem with this game. Like when i do the non lethal cyberpychosis quests I equip my non lethal modded gun and hope for the est. I like how a go here kill things quest led to Charles the ripperdoc. He's getting all his parts from scav gang members so I felt obligated to take him out. I got a police bounty for it but w/e.
I merged the Delemain fragments with the whole. Guess he's the meta now. (Side note: some of my favorite rvb fanfic plots are Ai consiousness/memory merging with the humans, so I’m having fun with this game and look foward to introspective fanfic)
Honestly Jonny made some good points, the fragments didn't deserve to die; but also destroying the core and freeing the fragments, they couldn't really function alone.
I was able to rescue Saul fine with stealth. Using cameras and the synapse overload really made it easy.  Can't use the sniper rifle reward b/c I don't have the stats for it, and while it has a silencer the fact that it's a ricochette weapon and not a shoot through walls weapons, makes it not as good imo; and theres a legendary one that is stats free for only 100k.
Lol made a pass again at Panam, and she immediately shut me down. I then did Mitch's quest and I love every time someone tells V they area  good person.
I hacked the operation carpe noctem shard, and wow the corporations are using ai to make people have cyberpsychosis, or something like that. What a shocker /s, I've played Deus Ex HR before
lol driving through the unifinished interstate, past the fight from Panam's first quest I found a "batcave" with a very nice car, and a manifesto written by "muckman'. But here's my complaint about the loot, there is a legendary top, but it had 16 armor. My current top has 84 armor, like why would i switch?? then later i found a bunker with soviet spies in it. Wild
Doing River's second quest, love the timing of as soon as you ask, why are we breaking in, someone shows up to tell you he got kicked off the force. It's funny how Johnny comments how maybe River's into you, and V just doubts Johnny's words. Love how the first kid asks River if I'm his girlfriend. also wow like oof both the second parts of Judy and River's quest are SUPER fucked UP!! oof like i stopped doing first person mode on the braindances for those quests as soon as i could, just made me too uncomfortable seeing that in first person.
DRIVING IN THE GAME IS BAD! nowhere is it more apparent than the sinnerman quest, which took me 3 times to get the driving section done, as cars spawned out of nowhere to hit me. Then when you restart, there is a bunch of dialogue it doesn't let you fast forward through. The rest of the Sinnerman questline is interesting. My V took every option to tell the dude that he was messed up, and what he was doing was wrong. idk, I was surprised how much dialogue there was that let you buy into his whole "forgiveness thing" and how there wasn't any real dialogue to call him the fuck out, that in seeking forgiveness he continues to do harm both emotional to the mother of the man he killed, but also that he got the husband killed via cop. The later follow up quest, I told him that what he is doing is crazy, studio is just going to profit off this vid. Then I refused to join him prayer, and told him fuck no i wasn't going to hammer him to the cross, or even watch. Yes, the man is scared of dying, and the corporation is exploiting him, but he keeps creating burdens for others.  I think the discussion on this quest will be interesting to read, it's definitely my own personal experience with religion coloring my view. Anyway back to a main quest, yeah i don't trust Placide, especially in that scene where he grabs my hand, then jacks in. I ran off to do most of the sidequests here and got some criticism from him. I do love how in the cinema the western movie switches to a mission brief as the netwatch agent talks. its a fun enviromental detail.  I took the netwatch offer, i don't think he's being fully honest with me, but he didn't put a virus in my head. As I told Placide later, I didn't pick a side. I like how you can then talk with the agent, who is a fan of Western movies, b/c they show "a simpler time where all good guys carry badges" :eyeroll:, and then V recommends Unforgiven, which from the wiki summary goes against that theme.
Looks like the Voodoo boys all got killed by Netwatch, but I as revenge for them trying to set me up I'm fine with it. Honestly after speaking with ai!Alt I don’t believe their plan of trying to be on good relations with AI would work.
doing the johnny flashback 2, and wow Johnny really is an asshole. Like I had gotten so used to him in side missions I forgot how self centered and unlikable he was.You constantly get prompts to drink or do drugs, which I ignored. But i do love the goth/punk love Rogue and others have.
lol i called it, when Hellman said that the engram would seek to override the host, put V on the engram. I really like how as the relic malfunctions, you wind up in the chair with a cigarette, which you can either smoke and say you are turning into Johnny or throw away. My dialogue "your problem is the ends justify the means", which is true!!! He and Rogue detonated a nuke downtown, does anyone know that, and like ask Rogue about it????
(Funny you can ask Rouge about Johnny silverhand, over the phone, then the game bugs out and spawns her npc where you are. She doens't say much about the nuke, but she does say no one trusts you for jobs). The line of no one trusting you for jobs is pretty funny at level 46 street cred where im at “respected” status. really loving the family atmosphere at River's 3rd quest. Also his big strong arms, and the fact he is no longer a cop. I totally let the kids win, and wow the family dinner where they GRILL YOU over the relationship and try to set the two of you up, then the water tower scene!!!!! I don't love the first person sex cutscenes but they do have personality. I'm glad afterwards you got to tell River about the biochip and that you might die. Because he's so far removed from your personal plot. So I took that option to back out of a relationship.
I do love that you wake up with "river's tanktop" that says "fuck the police" It actually has extremely good armor stats, so thats what I'll wear now.
panam 3rd quest, when shes like why did you help me, I'm like "because it's important to you". Basically the closest you can get to "when a friend asks for help you help them", which as an ex-nomad backstory I really choose the nomad options when ever i can Paralezes quest part 2! I love the piano song but I always think of it as ocean's 11 music. It's also fun to see the computer and see Judy recommended you for the first quest. The emails talk about "forgetting" to hire a staffer, on the balocony a strange antennia was scannable, the color of the roses was remembered wrong...  lol guess i was right with those giant wall screens. Its fun environmental details that spell things out before you can notice, and it ties into some other quests where people's behavior is being altered. Actually, this quest "Dream On" I love it! For a while I've been like "wheres the illuminati conspiracy! Here it IS! I chose to follow Elisabeth's wishes and not tell her husband he was being brainwashed. In best case they program him to forget again, in worst case he ends up dead. The gaslighting Elisabeth described is CHILLING, her husband describes a vacation she can't remember and she doesn't know whose memories have been messed with. On your way to the plaza you get a call from someone/something that says the know exactly WHAT you are, any you black out!!! It's such a great feeling of helplessness that you're just one person in a world so big that you can't fight every power. As Johnny said, could be a corporation, could be a rogue ai, either way Jefferson is fucked (and so are you).

Trying to draw Sniper in Horikoshi's style made me think of what their quirks would be if they were in the My Hero universe...
Sniper's would maybe be similar to Pro hero Snipe's. Or perhaps something similar to Hatsume's! I can't decide. Either way, it'd have something to do precision more than shooting.
Heavy'd have some kind of strength augmentation. Nothing like Muscular's though. I can't see him with a quirk like that. Or perhaps he'd have a quirk that manipulates copper. Ie, copper bullets. Here he is, an intimidating man with a belt of ammunition but no gun of any kind. You'd assume he wears it for show. That he prefers fist fighting over using guns or quirks. But oh now how you are wrong. So very wrong. Literal hell rains from above as he strikes his hand down.
Scout would have something similar to Kurogiri's warp gate. He can't teleport through portals per say though. He is the portal if you think about it though. Think of it as just popping in and put of existence, much like Overwatch's Tracer, except it has zero shit to do with time. His limit for his quirk would be 30 second cool down between each blip. He also can't blip no further than 10 feet through a solid wall or object and 40 feet in open space. Getting around a wall or other obscurity takes a lot out of him. He has to actually KNOW his location. Which means he has to see, or at least know, what's ahead of him. Its all about thinking of things before hand. Which he's actually really bad at. He acts and speaks before he thinks. Thought about something like Koichi's Slide and Glide or something like O'Clock's and Number 6's Overclock but thought better of it. Too cliché. Superspeed is overused anyhow. Why this though? You'll see!
Engineer would be quirkless in my opinion. He rides on the success of his inventions and natural intellect! He'd still have his Gunslinger however.
Medic would have a quirk that does more harm than good. Nothing that heals nor does it really strike a person as a heroic quirk. It defiantly has something to do with blood like Stain's or Toga's quirks! Maybe something like ATLA's blood bending technique? Instead of hero, villain, or vigilante work he works as an underground doctor for basically anyone. He doesn't judge as long you don't try to kill him. Pay him and your on his good side. Horrible quirk experiments on people and animals though. By horrible I don't mean cruel. I mean.... Well..... Weird and questionable.
Pyro's seems obvious, y'know, a pyrokenetic based quirk. But what if they have a generic quirk having shit to do with fire? Or they're quirkless pretending to have a quirk— based on fire that is. Or maybe they're just a quirkless pyromaniac that causes trouble for both heroes, villains, and the fire department?
Demoman just straight up blows shit up using the bombs he can produce using his saliva— gross I know. Simply put, if he spits on something it becomes highly explosive due to the chemicals that are naturally in his system, but not until he throws/shoots it. It has to gain some speed or friction. It doesn't explode until it makes contact with someone or something however. He spits on shit. Chucks it at people or things. Mostly people. Yeah he's in jail... Btw, its preferable to spit on an object than to just hock a lugie. Bigger the object, bigger the explosion— but it HAS to be moveable enough to throw! Just spitting at someone or on the ground results in a very small explosion. And that shits boring.
Soldier is a quirkless hero wannabe that comes off as more a serial beheader/neck snapper/home invader/confused man lost in a foreign country when he meant to go to the grocery store.
Spy's quirk would be to form temporary gateways to any location within 20 feet of his current location. Basically like Warp Gate. His portals typically stay open for a minimum of 2 minutes so they aren't useful for stealth missions. He uses his quirk mostly for emergencies. Otherwise he works quirkless. And prefers it that way. Its not very useful or convenient anyway since it only allows him to go 20 feet. Its essentially unusable unless he's gotta get past some trap or guard or something.
Miss Pauling did have a quirk. But it was erased. Willingly. She was shot by an enhanced prototype bullet, you know the quirk-destroying ones. The Administrator procured one from the black market. Had Engineer experiment on it per her request. Then later on as he claims its perfected, the Admin shot Pauling with the bullet. When 24 hours were up and Pauling could still no longer heat up her palms to 100°C (212°F), the perfected drug was deemed a success. She was left quirkless. She took the risk to help her boss. To do her job.
The Administrator can manipulate people just by having them stare straight into her eyes. And the thing is the victim would never know until they were told. She's gotten her way many of times. She's a cold hearted bitch with zero remorse, however she doesn't use her quirk unless absolutely needed. She believes relying too much on it would only land her in deep shit. She's gotten her way just by negotiating normally. Or from brut force. Or torture. Or all three at once. Either way, she tends to have her way with things with or without a quirk. She doesn't ever use her quirk on people she employs though. Too much trouble in case they find out as she tends to hire those with strong quirks, unstable behaviors, or with very strong connects.
Saxton Hale can enhance his strength using his own ego! Which is to say he's a strong badass. His ego is waaaaaaaaaay up there you know! His ego is basically an adrenaline shot and steroids in one go. He works out too however.
Scout's Ma has enhanced speed. Not superspeed per say. She's faster than the average person but not just on her feet. Her reflexes are about 5 times quicker than a normal person's. She can dodge very efficiently and her timing to jump is impeccable. Her speed/running is only above average, not super.

Absolution
Summary:
noun: formal release from guilt, obligation, or punishment
The Capital Wasteland lauded the Lone Wanderer as a hero, a Messiah, a savior who’s willing to give her life for the Good Fight. Beyond the legends, the propaganda, and the mythification that surrounded her legacy, there is only one person who knew her bare soul. She gave him his absolution, and now he will fight for hers.
XXIV
January 10, 2278.
Hannibal Hamlin just arrived a few moments ago, after Cross did. He sees me, smiles, and shakes my hand.
“Charon. Good to see you again, friend. How is Percy treating you? Has she found a solution to your contract yet?”
“Good,” I tell him. “We’re working on it.”
“That’s good to hear.”
The back door swings open, and DeLoria arrives with the dog. Dogmeat bounds towards me, and licks my hand after I ruffled his fur.
“Yo. I’m here. Where’s Percy at?”
“She’s retrieving a few things from the house. She’ll be here soon,” I tell him. “Are you sure you weren’t followed?”
“Yeah. I had the dog with me to keep watch.”
Just a few moments later, we heard the back door opening once again. Gob exclaims something I couldn’t hear, and Percy comes into view, dragging a missile launcher with her. It’s the one we found on the first day that I started serving her.
“Sorry I’m late. Had to double check a few things. Paladin Cross, this is for you.”
DeLoria’s jaw drops at the sight of the weapon. Cross carries it with ease, and thanks my partner.
“Holy shit, Perce. Where’d you even get that?”
“Doesn’t matter. Anyway, these arrived just in time, Charon. Moira had a hard time procuring them, so let’s put them to good use,” Percy turns to me, handing me a package.
I look inside and smirk.
“As you command.”
Nodding, Percy sets the map Doc Church drew out for us on the bar top.
“Here’s the plan.”
It was near midnight when we finished our meeting.
“Let’s go home,” Percy tells me. I follow her.
After cleaning up, we went into Percy's bedroom, my bedroom now too, I suppose. I lay awake next to her that night, thinking back to the days we spent with the Abolitionists, and their influence on me.
Right after that incident with Harkness, Percy runs into an escaped slave in the city, Mei Wong. She gives Wong some caps so she can buy a weapon. Then, that’s when we learned about the Temple of the Union, and met Hamlin.
November 11, 2277.
Staying close to Percy, we walked on, accompanying Hamlin and the others to the Lincoln Memorial.
Nearly two centuries ago, my first mission occurred here. I think I was… fourteen. Or fifteen. Fuck, my memories from before the Great War are still hazy, but I know it happened. Under the orders of our contract holder then, our unit was tasked to suppress protesters gathering at the memorial.
I remember everyone’s actions.
Vanth, our sniper, did not hesitate to open fire, making rubber bullets rain on the crowd. She didn’t even aim it to the ground; she aimed at the people. Everyone followed suit, save for me who stood there, mortified. I only got moving when my electric collar went off.
Magwayen did the best she could to avoid casualties. I followed her. The others did not. At the end of the day, Mag treated the wounds on my back. Whip marks. Punishment for being too soft.
The next day, I went harder on the people. I remember the smell of tear gas. Mag became distant since then.
I’m certain that if hell exists, I would go there, regardless whether hurting all those people is my will, or not. My hands killed them. I’m a murderer.
I’d never thought I’d come back to that place and do something right for a change.
I watched as my mistress helped the Abolitionists return the statue’s head back where it belonged. Smiling, sweat pouring from her brow, Percy approaches me, and tells me to enjoy the rest of the day while she talks to Hamlin.
They talked for hours. Occasionally, Hamlin would look at me, a certain understanding in his gaze.
I brought my mind back to the present. I figured out earlier that Percy must’ve spoken to him about my contract. Heartbeat slow, Percy sleeps next to me, and I look at her unmarred face. As gently as possible, I brush a lock of stray hair from her face. This angel… she’s doing everything she can to free me from its hold, huh?
Maybe it’s time.
I think I can manage it.
If I survive tomorrow, I want to come out as a free man.
After planting a light kiss on her shoulder, I closed my eyes.
January 11, 2278.
Today’s the day.
The sun’s setting on the horizon. DeLoria walks in front of me, obviously nervous as hell. We approach Paradise Falls’ entrance, where a guard asks us to halt and state our business.
“Yo, is this a place where I can sell people? My friend gave me this piece of shit here and I don’t want anything to do with him.”
The guard looks at us with scrutiny. DeLoria looks like an absolute dick, wearing shades and a set of ill-fitting armor. Only an idiot would buy his disguise, but I guess the guard’s one after all.
Good for us.
Behind him, Percy emerges, and snaps his neck. He lands to the ground with a thud. The others approach; Hamlin and Simone from the Abolitionists, and Cross from the Brotherhood. The paladin hefts the rocket launcher, and as Simone kicks the gates open, all hell breaks loose.
Crouching, Percy disappears again, and the only thing giving her away’s the silver-white outline of her stealth field. The Abolitionists provide Cross some cover fire as she fires the missiles at the slavers.
Now, my turn.
DeLoria follows me close by, and we approach the slave pen.
“Remember the plan,” I tell him. “Watch my back as I get these gates open.”
“R-right,” DeLoria stammers, taking a steadying breath. “Shit, shit. What have I gotten myself into, man?”
“Hey. Do it for the kids.”
The younger man nods at me, bravado coming back. “Yeah! For the kids!”
As soon as I unlocked the gate, DeLoria tossed a bag at the adult slaves. “Here, protect yourselves. Run for it!” he yells.
I moved on to the next gate, where the children stayed. They huddled together, looking at me with fear. But when the gates swung open, they reluctantly approached. Next to me, Percy emerges from thin air. The kids looked at her with awe.
“Hey. Your friends from Lamplight asked us to help you. Follow the guy with the nice hair, kids. We’ll meet you outside.”
The children followed DeLoria, while the other slaves joined the fray, exacting retribution on their captors.
“Charon, you know what to do,” Percy tells me, squeezing my arm, and disappears once again.
I take out the contents of the package Percy gave me the night before.
C4 explosives.
Time to blow this place up.
I started at the clinic. An old slaver lies dead on the floor. The vault next to the cash register is already looted. Must be Percy’s doing. She’s still thorough. I placed one explosive under the desk.
After that, I went to the slaver barracks. The place is deserted, bottles lying about.
Then I heard a click of a gun behind my head.
“Hold it right there,” a familiar voice tells me. “Wait a minute, it’s you! Hah, the zombie- ugh!”
A shot resounded through the building, and the slaver’s body thumps against the floor. I look behind me, and Percy stands there, 10mm in her hand. Her stealth armor helmet pops open and she smiles at me.
“C’mon big guy, let’s get a move on.”
She watched my back as I installed another explosive, and we ran back out to face Paradise Falls’ leader.
Eulogy Jones.
I kick the door to his pad open, and he sits atop the bed, looking far too relaxed for someone whose base is being torn to shreds.
It’s almost as if he was expecting us.
Two female slaves jump at Percy and before I can save her, Eulogy Jones shoots my calf, and I kneel, groaning in pain. I can barely keep my eyes open as one of them searched Percy for my contract, and handed it to Eulogy.
No, no! Not this shit again!
“Good girl, Clover,” the slaver croons.
Then, he turns to us.
“Ah, I knew the two of you would show up here. Welcome.”
A look of horror crossed Percy’s face as she heard shouts outside. Bloodied slavers barged through the door, and one of them was grabbing DeLoria by the collar.
“Butch! Where are the others?!”
“They got away, don’t worry about- ow! That hurts!” One of them kicked the greaser.
“Not for long,” he tells the greaser. Then, he turns to my partner.
“Word travels fast in the wasteland, you know. It didn’t take long for us to figure out what you’re up to, my dear. The two of you haven’t really been subtle about it. Paradise Falls has contacts everywhere. It didn’t take much for one of them to strong-arm Church into telling us what you’re up to.”
“Bastard!” Percy spits. “What have you done with him?!”
The two women restraining her keep her down as she tries to wriggle free.
“Let’s just say that Jotun sent him into an early retirement.”
That dangerous look, the one that frightens me, is back on Percy’s face. Her mouth is pressed into a tight line, trembling in her fury.
“And you,” he turns to me. “Who would’ve thought that you’d be back here, fifteen years later, Charon? Or should I say, Artyom Volkov.”
In the corner of my eye, Percy is looking at me with uncertainty. “Artyom Volkov?”
“That’s right, Miss Zhou. That’s your bodyguard’s name, before he was brainwashed into submission. There are a lot of things that you don’t know about him. Did you know that aside from helping us acquire new merchandise in the past, he was a war criminal, before the bombs dropped 200 years ago?”
“Liar. Charon can’t even remember most of his life before that. How could you know such a thing?”
“You never bothered to learn his history? My dear, I simply asked him all those years ago. Artyom here probably locked those memories away when I sold him to Ahzrukhal. Fifteen years is a very long time and you’re bound to misplace some memories, but I suppose someone as young as you wouldn’t know.”
Percy is breathing hard, looking at me with those wet and wide eyes, and I couldn’t look at her. The entire ordeal felt like peeling gauze off a wound that didn’t quite heal, or my skin being charred by hellfire from an atom bomb.
“Charon, tell me he’s lying.”
I can’t answer her. She’s no longer holding my contract.
“Answer her, Charon,” Eulogy orders me, and I comply, bile rising to my throat.
“He’s not.”
My new master steps closer, and grabs my partner’s jaw.
“I could put you in the pen as breeding stock, like this boy here,” Eulogy said, motioning to Butch.
“But you know, you remind me of my Clover here,” he continues. “Crazy girl, and I’m an expert on crazy girls. I just know you’d be crazy in the sack too. You just need to be housebroken.”
“Fuck you,” Percy spits.
“Soon, babe, soon. Now, Charon, take Miss 101 and her friend here to their new quarters.”
I feel it, the ghost of an electric shock shooting upward to my brain again.
But I can withstand it now.
“No.”
Percy and Butch look up to me, and before the burn can incapacitate me again, I whip out my shotgun and shot Jones in the head, twice. One to kill him, another out of spite.
My shotgun clatters to the floor, and the shocked slave girls couldn’t do anything as Percy escapes their grasp and takes back my contract from Eulogy’s dead hands.
“You disobeyed another order,” Percy gasps, looking at me with a soft look.
A piercing shriek filled the room as the girls lunged at me, but Percy shot one of them in the head. The other one who got too close, she whips with her pistol.
“Whoa! Whoa whoa whoa, Percy wait! These girls are slaves too! We can’t just shoot ‘em,” DeLoria exclaims, rushing over to the fallen girl. DeLoria attempts to help her up, but she scratches his chest, kicking and screaming, and she turns to me, manic.
“You son of a bitch! You killed daddy! You killed Mr. Eulogy, you killed him, you killed him! I hate you, you fucking shuffler!” she shrieks, like a petulant child. A deranged, petulant child.
Percy knocks her out cold. “You’re welcome to carry her, Butch, if you care so much.”
“Percy…”
Limping, I place the last C4 explosive while Percy loots the place clean. Then, she comes and wraps her arm around my waist, supporting me, holding me like she did the first time I ever got injured in her employ.
We hear heavy footsteps, and Cross comes into view, offering us a helping hand. Behind us, DeLoria carries the unconscious slave girl in his arms. I’d never thought I’d see the day when he’ll care for anyone other than himself.
I’d never thought I’d see the day that I would be free from my contract either, but here we are.
“Percy, I think I’m ready.”
My partner looks up to me, her eyes glistening in the moonlight.
“You guys go on ahead,” she tells Cross and the others. “We just have some unfinished business to attend to.”
We sit outside Eulogy’s pad, her back against my chest, and Percy fishes my contract out of her PipBoy glove. Her glasses are fogging up as it starts snowing again. I dug in my pockets, and after palming through crushed cigarette boxes, I found a lighter.
“Charon, are you sure about this?”
I nod, trembling as I hand her the lighter.
“Do it.”
I expected my skin to be set ablaze as the fire ate the edges of my contract, or for agonizing pain to shoot up my spine and kill me in an instant, but instead, I stared as my paper soul went up in flames without eliciting a single reaction.
As the paper turned to ashes, I sat with my partner in silence.
“It’s done. Charon, your contract is gone- Charon, no!”
I never noticed my hand reaching for Percy’s pistol involuntarily, aiming it to my temple, and firing.
When I opened my eyes, Percy was on top of me, breathing hard, her small hand restraining my arm in a surprising show of strength. She wrenches the pistol from me and throws it a few feet away from us, then she looks me in the eyes, her glasses slipping off of her face and landing on my chest.
I can feel her breath on my lips.
Burying her face in my chest, a sob wracked her body. I held her as tight as I could.
“C’mon, let’s send this place to hell.”
Reunited with our companions, I hand Percy the detonator.
Paradise Falls is no more.

ALL CHAPTERS OF "FOR SOMETHING GREATER" IN MY BIO
Tumblr media
The trip felt longer than it was supposed to be. It was probably because it was a relatively more silent flight than usual, though Woods and Harris were still bickering like children. But aside from that, you only engaged in conversations with your team from time to time. The Winter Soldier’s eyes lingered on you, and it was almost impossible to ignore. In his gaze was not judgement, that you would’ve anticipated, but instead it was more a look of curiousity and amazement, maybe even borderline respect.
You stole glances at him to watch his movements, his behaviour. You studied his weapon. The rifle was a familiar model, an M249 SAW. You had fired it a few times. It was a convinient model, even resembling some functions of a machine gun. But you found it odd that he would choose that type of firearm, considering he had been a sniper in 1945. Choosing a rifle that leaned more towards a machine gun than a sniper made him seem more messy. Despite that, you knew not to judge him based off the firearm he used. He was not only a supersoldier, but a highly trained stealth operative as well. He would be as deadly with a baseball bat as he is with a gun. The only other weapon you saw was a sheathed knife on his thigh. You didn’t recognize it as any type of US military knives. You had your suspicions that it was made of vibranium, like his arm. Wakanda gave him a practically indestructable arm, and why stop there? Why not give him an indestructable knife, too?
Either way, it was a completely different model from your Ontario MK3 Navy Knife, which was mostly used for self-defense and protection. The size and shape of his knife, however, suggested that it was intended for a more brutal purpose, perhaps a clean, silent kill.
Those were all his weapons. No grenades, no glocks. If he were a normal human being, it would seem like he came unprepared, but he was not normal, and that could be proven in his blood and in his kill record.
A kill record that rivaled yours.
When the cargo plane reached cruising altitude of 800 feet, you stood up, and the Winter Soldier and your team did the same. “We know our mission. Get in, get the hostages, get out. But since it’s Hydra, treat this like an assault mission,” you said, “Sergeant Barnes is familiar with the general structure of a Hydra base, so he will lead us into the compound, but you still take orders from me. Hydra will jam long range radio transmissions. We only have short ranged ones to communicate with each other. We’re in this alone, and we can’t call for back up if anything goes south, so make sure nothing goes south. Are we clear?”
“Yes, Commander!” the boys said in unison.
With that, you each strapped in a static parachute. The hatch opened, and you jumped from the plane.
It was a habit by now, but you never got tired of it. It was in the middle of the night, the wind was in your favor. You stepped out of the plane, a thrilling smile on your face, a smile that distracted you from all the blood in your hands, that reminded you why you loved this job.
You had been dropped at a forest near the Transian mountain range, where the Hydra base is located. You were only several miles away from Serbia.
The trees gave you the perfect cover. You quickly regrouped and started a hike to the exact coordinates of the Hydra base.
For amateurs, the hike would have been five hours long, at least. But with the training your team had gone through and the Winter Soldier there, it would only take three hours, max.
Within two and a half hours, you had visual on the warehouse. Your team hid behind fallen timber.
You’ve gotta be honest, to the naked eye, the ‘base’ wasn’t exactly impressive. It just looked like an old warehouse made of rusted metal. It didn’t look threatening at all. It didn’t even have a fence around it.
“You can’t be serious,” Lawson scoffed, a smile forming on his face, “this is supposed to be a nazi terrorist facility? I’ve seen small rebel bases more threatening that this shit show.”
Barnes, however, studied the warehouse instensely, “Don’t underestimate them,” he warned, and in his voice was a cold, terrifying certainty.
You adjusted your goggles to zoom in on the base.
“What do you see?” Jones asked, a splinter of nervousness mixed with hope cracking in his voice.
Jones saw the base as Lawson did, a sorry excuse for an organization that at one point had almost had total control of the world. He thought there wouldn’t be a fight. He thought this would be an easy in and out mission. But you had a feeling Barnes was right, judging from his cold reaction.
“Not much,” you admitted, “I only count seven security guards patrolling the warehouse.”
Barnes decided to split the group into two teams. The first team would draw fire to the patroling guards, while the other one would enter the facility undetected.
The first team, the team that would cause a diversion, consisted of the better skilled and experienced marksmen in your team, McCoy, Miller, and Woods. They took cover behind a boulder, preparing to fire upon order.
The rest of the team, you, Barnes, Harris, Lawson, and Jones circled the perimeter to prepare to enter from the weakest entry point, the back door.
“Status?” You called to the diversion team via short range radio.
“Ready to fire on your order, commander,” Woods answered.
You looked to Barnes. He gave you a slight nod. You waited a heartbeat before you said through the radio, “Fire.”
In an instant, you heard chaos break out on the other side of the building. Without a doubt, the guard stationed on the back door left to help defend the front door.
That was a foolish move, and it proved that these men were untrained and inexperienced.
“On me,” Barnes led your team inside.
“Watch our six,” you told Jones. He nodded in response.
Barnes opened the door and… the warehouse was absolutely empty, except for two people in dressed in black, brown sacks over their heads, handcuffed to a chair in the center of the warehouse.
Could those be the missing CIA agents?
The team sweeped the room, and found nothing, but still stayed a safe distance from the people in the center of the room
“Help us,” a hoarse male voice from under the sack said weakly upon hearing footsteps, “we’ve been held hostage for weeks.”
The voice was American.
“They’re the agents!” Jones concluded, relief in his voice. Jones laid his firearm down, and quickly moved to the center of the room when you realized that those two people were wearing explosive belts.
Your eyes widened.
“Get down!” Barnes barked the order as he realized what was going on.
“No!” You didnt think twice. You moved towards Jones, trying to shield him from the explosion.
It exploded. You were thrown back by the impact, a shrapnel from the bomb embedding itself in your shoulder.
You struggled to get up, you vision blurry. “Oliver!” You struggled to scream, trying to get up as searing pain roared through your body.
You laid down, face up. You tried to look for the source of pain and saw a piece of metal deep inside your left shoulder.
You saw flash of metal, as the Winter Soldier rushed towards you, applying pressure on the sides of your wound.
“Oliver J-Jones,” you said faintly, “T-the kid, is he o-okay?” You struggled.
Barnes grunted and cursed, but he avoided the question.
You gathered all of you strength, “B-Barnes! I-is the kid okay?”
Collecting your consciousness and your common sense, you realized, Jones couldn’t have made it. He was too close.
You realized it, but that didn’t mean that you had accepted it. With whatever’s left of your energy, you thrashed under Bucky’s arm, “J-Jones! Where is he?”
“Hold still,” Bucky ordered, “You’re bleeding out!”
No.
No, this couldn’t be happening.
He was young. He was a kid. He was your responsibility.
His death was on you.
His blood is on your hands.
No.
“Get her to the ORP, she needs blood transfusion immediately,” Barnes said, and that was the last thing you heard before the world faded into black.
-
Your team rushed you to the ORP, and you were still unconscious.
“She’s losing blood,” Woods said to the medical officers. One of the officers nodded and scanned your suit for a dog tag. She found it in one of your utility pockets.
The dog tags contained your blood type, but when the medical officer saw it, her face grew pessimistic.
“What’s wrong?” Woods asked.
“She’s O negative,” she mentioned, “it’s one of the rarest blood type in the world, and is not compatible with any other blood type. It would clot. We don’t have a supply here.”
“Then transport her, dammit!” Woods shouted frantically.
“She wont make the trip,” she explained.
“I’m O negative,” a deep voice said, and it belonged to the Winter Soldier as he entered the room.
The medical officer stuttered, “B-but you’re a super soldier, we don’t know the effects-”
“So what? We’re just gonna leave her here to die?” Barnes asked inscredulously, “Look, I’m your best shot at saving her.”
The officer looked at her colleagues. She nodded, “It’s worth a try.”
“Wait,” Miller intervened, “Just how experimental is this?”
“Very,” the medical officer almost visibly shuddered, “There’s no telling what the side effects are, if there are any, or if she will survive the transfusion at all.”
“Then maybe we should run diagnostics first,” Miller suggested.
“There’s no time for that!” Lawson growled, visibly distressed.
“But this treatment might kill her!” Miller said.
“Yes, this might kill her, but not doing anything will kill her,” Lawson sneered, “I just lost my teammate. I’m not going to lose my commander, too.”
The whole room fell silent.
They hadn’t had the time to grieve. They hadn’t had time to process the young SEAL’s death, and this was the first time anyone had talked about Jones as a deceased man.
The medical officer told her colleague, “prep her for surgery.”

                                 OC as Companion Meme
NAME: Zac
FOUND : In the Cola Cars Arena, near the bumper car display
COMPANION PERK:
RAZE HELL: Zac’s training as a Brotherhood scribe gives him a knowledge of combat tech that goes beyond that of most raiders. Gain a +20% damage bonus with Energy Weapons as well as +15% DR when wearing Power Armor.
WEAPON OF CHOICE:
CUTTHROAT [default melee weapon]: Customized Disciples blade. Causes additional bleeding damage.
PAINT IT RED [default ranged weapon] : Customized laser rifle. Random chance to cause Bloody Mess effect on critical hits. Increased chance to trigger Bloody Mess if the perk is already active.
I THINK WE SHOULD TRAVEL TOGETHER:
Low Affinity:
“There better be some good loot this time.”
“I guess it beats staying here all day, sitting on my ass – which is fanstastic, mind you.”
“Just try not to burst into tears when I’m rude to one of your little wastelander buddies, yeah?”
“One extra meat shield between me and the ferals. At least I don’t have to pay you.”
Neutral:
“They never stay away for long.”
“What? Got bored without me?”
“Try to keep up.”
“[with some admiration] Still kickin’? [mumb]Guess I owe someone caps now.”
High Affinity:
“Wanna fuck some shit up?”
“I knew you’d miss me.”
“Nothing like taking caps from wasteland losers with you, darlin’.”
“Gotta admit, scramblin’ about the wastes is more fun with you around.”
USE MELEE:
“Showtime.”
“Right in the middle of the action. That’s where the real fun is.”
“Ooh, old school. I like your style.”
“Heh, love the look on their faces when I get to ‘em.”
USE RANGED:
"You think they can’t handle this up close? …Can’t blame ya.”
“Let’s see if I can get some heads popping.”
“At least I won’t have to worry about getting the blood out of my hair.”
“If you insist. But just so you know, I’m prettier up close.”
OPEN INVENTORY:
"Feel free to take some of the heavy junk.”
“Want me to carry some of those heavy, cumbersome caps for you? I’m game.”
“Got a sudden urge to give me your valuables?”
“Time to split the haul.”
IF OVERENCUMBERED:
“Unless you plan on carrying me around bridal style, we’re not gonna be moving anytime soon.”
“This is beyond my paygrade.”
“Look, I like loot as much as the next guy, but this is ridiculous.”
“You see a sign around my neck that says ‘PACK MULE’? No? No.”
STAY CLOSE:
“Can’t stay away, huh?”
“You could at least buy me dinner first.”
“I’m not exactly the cuddly type, but I make an exception for people who pay me.”
“Like what you see?”
KEEP DISTANCE:
“I’ll just be over here, keeping an eye out for danger. And caps. But mostly danger.”
“Has it been that long since my last wash? In my defense, have you ever tried finding  a working shower out here? One without Mirelurks?”
“Allright. If something tries to eat you I’ll be sure to cheer you on from aaaaall the way back there. ”
“Just stay within hearing distance so I can find you if you get shot. Or at least get the loot off your corpse. No point in letting it go to waste, right?”
STEALTH:
“[chuckles darkly] Time for a surpriiiiise.”
“They won’t know what hit ‘em. ”
“If some of the good stuff here just so happens to slip into my pocket…well…”
“Do this a lot, your ass is gonna look like it was chiseled from marble. I would know.”
BACKUP:
“Allright.”
“Good, I wasn’t looking for a snuggle either.”
“[flirtatious] Usually they  ask for the opposite.”
“Yep, too close for comfort.”
BE PASSIVE:
“[sneers] Maybe if we ask them real nice they’ll stop shooting us in the face. What d’ya think?”
“Oh, sure. I love… peace and all that shit. Totally.”
"Hey, if you want to pay me for not kicking ass...”
“Do you want me to get some paint for you? You know, for the target on my back?”
BE AGGRESSIVE:
“Oh thank God. No pussyfooting around.”
“That’s the spirit.”
“Gladly.”
“Good to know you get how things work around here. Can’t say that about everyone.”
USE STIMPACK:
“Much better.”
“Good as new.”
“I’m worth more in one piece anyway.”
“Hey, scars are sexy.”
WAIT HERE:
“Allright, but just a head’s up: If you skip the bill I’m breaking your legs. Haha! Just kidding. [snorts] [to himself] Like I’d let you live.”
“[sarcastic] Oh, no, I get to sit back and relax while you verge into some murder cave full of garbage or whatever. I’ll try my best to live through this hardship.”
“If you need me, I’ll be counting the caps we got so far.”
“Don’t have all the fun without me.”
FOLLOW ME:
“Your wish is my…[snorts] Yeah, no, couldn’t say that with a straight face.”
“Partners in crime. Profitable, fabulous crime.”
“I got ya.”
“They’ll shit their pants when they see us two coming.”
DISMISSED:
“Try not to get killed, sweetheart.”
“[joking] Aw, and here I thought we were had something going.”
“Wham, bam, thank you mam, huh? Well, if you want more of this…you know where to find me.”
“Shame. Thought you’d last longer. Maybe next time.”
SEND THEM HOME (FOLLOWER BASE):
[SENT BACK TO NUKA WORLD]
“Hope the next fight in the Arena is better than the last one. Farmboy went out in one go. Snooore.”
“If that Nuka Cola jingle gets stuck in my head again, I’m busting the damn speakers.”
“Back to the land of dreams… if your dreams smell like rotten candy and piss.”
“Maybe it’s time. I swear,  the losers don’t get anything done without me. Can’t tell a circuitboard from their own dicks.”
[SENT TO SETTLEMENT]
“What- there? Just gonna send me to the ass end of the Commonwealth. [huffs] That’s cold.”
“Oh come on, really? Did I piss you off or somethin’?”
“I’m a raider. Raaiiideeer. Sitting on a dirt farm in the middle of nowhere ain’t really my style. Just sayin’.”
“[grumbles] Fine, but if someone tries to make me pick tatos I’m quitting.”
ENEMIES (LONG RANGE - OR COMPLIMENTS ON PLAYER CHARACTER’S CONFIRMED KILL USING A SNIPER RIFLE ON LONG RANGED TARGET)
“Boom!”
“And the crowd goes wild!”
“Natural selection, baby.”
“[laughs mockingly] Come on, were they even trying?”
ENEMIES (CLOSE RANGE)
“Try me, loser.”
“This ain’t my first rodeo!”
“I fucking love my job.”
“Oh this is gonna be fun.”
“I’m calling dibbs on this one!”
“Hell yeah, we like it rough ‘round here!”

AGGRESSION: aggressive/not aggressive/very aggressive/frenzied
CONFIDENCE: cowardly/cautious/average/brave/foolhardy
LOSE AS COMPANION PERMANENTLY:
Betray Nuka World Raiders:  If  you attack the raiders in Nuka World, Zac instantly becomes hostile.
Giving the Brotherhood of Steel control over the Commonwealth:  Zac will express his disagreement and return to Nuka World, whereupon he becomes unavailable as a follower. If he is later spoken to he will say one of the following lines:
“I said my part. Scram.”
“What, already getting tired of the tin cans? Or did they get tired of you? [huffs] You deserve each other.”
“Sorry, but I’m not looking for a lap dog. Now beat it, Fluffy.”
“Huh, my boots are looking a bit dusty. Care to give ‘em a good lick while you’re here? Or is that service of yours a Brotherhood exclusive?”
Lose too much Affinity: Like most other companions, Zac will leave if his Affinity drops too low.
Affinity raiting can be raised by:
picking locks
choosing aggressive dialogue options
successfully hacking terminals
helping the Nuka World raiders
stealing (does not include pickpocketing)
overloading the spaceship ride during the Nuka World quest: “Trip to the Stars”
killing miscellaneous (non-Nuka World) raider bosses in the Commonwealth (Bosco, Jared, Sparta, etc.)
successful haggling
passing most speech checks
walking around naked
Affinity is lost by:
choosing pacifist dialogue options
failing haggling speech checks
failing intimidation speech checks
helping settlers (cancelled out if payment is received upon completion)
accepting Brotherhood quests (dislike for completing miscellaneous quests, hate for completing main quests)
giving caps to either the Pillars of the Community or the Hubologists
assigning him to farm work when left in a settlement
getting caught in any criminal action
planting brotherhood flags in settlements
giving caps to NPCs (does not include bribery)

updated ideas
One piece inspired pirate rpg Basic stuff and ideas: Instead of 6 stats, instead only have 3: body, mind, and spirit Have different skills, based on combinations of body mind and spirit as well as just normal skills “Saves”: wisdom (mind and spirit), endurance (body and spirit), focus(mind and body) Speed and strength also important stats that feed into dodge and block respectively, as well as movement for speed Skill list: persuasion (mind/spirit), deception (mind/spirit), history (mind), animal handling (spirit), insight (mind), intimidation (body/spirit), perception (mind/spirit), performance(body/spirit), nature (mind), stealth (body), sleight of hand (body/mind), constitution (body), athletics (body), investigation (mind) Combined skills are the average of both unless you get a feat Instead of simple ac, have dodge skills and block skills that act like saves to physical attacks Get to take special skills, basically feats, either 1 major or 2 minor and a skill proficiency, at start Each class/subclass gets extra special skill and boost to stat + proficiency in something related Initiative is somehow body, mind and spirit; If subtracting for any mod, it is a 1:1 ratio, body is always 1:1 for initiative, mind is 0.5x mind mod, rounded down, and spirit is 1.5x spirit mod, rounded up Add all together after calculating +1 to mind is +0 to initiative, +2 to mind is +1 to initiative, +3 to mind is +1, etc. +1 to spirit is +2 to initiative, +2 to spirit is +3 to initiative, +3 spirit is +4, + 4 spirit is +6, etc Ex: +1 mind, +2 body, +3 spirit would be 0 for mind, 1 for body, and 4 for spirit, so a total of a +5 initiative Armor and weapons give bonuses to block, depending on weapons and armor, might detract from dodge Basically a feat in any given crew for “captain” that gives them bonus to initiative, bonus to persuasion to own crew and bonus to intimidation for others (or vice versa if you're a crappy captain/ maybe a marine) Design your own ship? Upgrade it during rests, have lots of fun weapons? Everyone has a swim speed, but tritons and mermaids have more, plus certain classes and feats might make it faster? Movement speed: every 10ft walking spd is +1 to dodge  (round up), so 25ft is +3, etc. Stats?? Roll 5d6 drop the lowest or just standard 4d6 drop the lowest….. Point buy so total of mods is +7 or total points for body mind spirit is 42?? idk

Long arm and long leg - bonus to attack and speed respectively or something Skypeople - useless wings and have primitive observation haki aka super high perception and passive perception snakeneck - honestly idk man but why not Cyborg - halfway between warforged and human Modified humans - humans but physically better and not nice Minks- furries aka shifters but they have an animal form and an even more animal form Fishmen- tritons basically Merfolk- what it says on the tin\ Giants?- idk how that would work in a dnd inspired world bc they too big Dwarfs- like pixies/halflings Celestial dragons- worse and more stuck up than elves but otherwise humans Hybrids: Centaurs, satyrs, harpies, zombies?, skeletons, clones, idk everything
Skills: Major skillz Uhh captain First mate - gets basically telepathy w captain, same but lesser skills plus attack bonus coward - gives you bonus action disengage/hide/dodge/dash Heckin skilled mate - lets you use the full combined total for 3 skills and 1 save Swimmer - underwater combat, higher swim speed, dont need to breathe for like 15 min idk, can get like sneak attack if they come up from the water Minor skills Artist - honestly mostly an aesthetic but also possibly can give bonuses to the ship for stealth, intimidation, plus can make money on the side or something Liar - prof in deception, exceptionally good at distracting and granting advantage Good with animals idk - proficiency in animal handling plus get to have basically a familiar? Built in weapons Language expert idk this is becoming very straw hat specific Helmsman - idk what this one would do if you already have a shipwright i guess allows you to also control the ship bc someone has to be manning the ship unless somehow they get autopilot Blocking - bonus to blocks Coward but cheap - bonus to dodge Like,, calligrapher or forgery artist or something that gives adv on persuasion and deception when through a written message
