I can imagine them giving up the pirate life once they become too old for it#(like 70 or whatever) and just travelling the world (bc at heart they will always long for adventure. they'll never be one to settle down#in one place for the rest of their life). they're visiting the tribe and either they're greeted by 'oh thank the spirits you're here#I think we just discovered the new avatar'#or they're there when a waterbender girl suddenly bends another element. either case they're like oh god not again#oc rambles
