I think the least self-projecting part of how I write Stiles is the fact that he is just always totally fine and accepting of the pet names.

If a girl called me darling or sweetheart or baby I would just simply melt into a useless puddle of lesbian. I would not be strong enough to be coherent.

#thought I had today: maybe I should self-project harder #maybe I should have Stiles fully brain-malfunction at the petnames #bc I do always write him as accepting like 'that's just how Peter talks I guess'#I COULD NOT BE LIKE THAT AT ALL I WOULD MAKE AN EMBARRASSING SQUEAKY NOISE AND MELT #so yeah! that was the thought! :D #maybe Stiles should have more of a me reaction to all the petnames for a change #but also: where do I find my own version of Chris and Peter? :(#How Women In Your Area Want To Call You Sweetheart
