Max jumps half a foot as he feels something warm and wet slide against his neck. "What the fuck?!"

He turns to see Wardlow there, staring with big eyes.

"Did you just lick me?!" he exclaims. "What the fuck?"

"No!" Wardlow says. "There - it wasn't - I absolutely did not lick you." He frowns. "Oh. Ew."

"What, ew?" Max reaches behind and slaps the damp spot. "What is that?"

He feels a little like he's in a horror movie as he looks up. "Oh, you've gotta be shitting me."

"Danhausen spilled his coffee," says that weird little gremlin. "Danhausen does not feel bad for you."

"Wardlow," Max says, feeling the rage bubble up in him, "please bring me that weirdo's face on a platter."

Tbh I've always been fond Of Mjf/Wardlow too, I have a friend who likes Mjf/Jungle boy and I'm glad to talk about it whenever

It's the dynamic of Max and Wardlow that pulls me in you know cause Wardlow by definition is Max's favorite person and while that may not be healthy I feel like Max can be himself around him and Wardlow will be there to protect him from literally anyone

With that being said Max is not a stable person making every relationship he has in some ways problematic but as we've seen with Wardlow he's had times where he's snapped at him and times where he's defended him like against H*ger,

and times where he's accidentally struck him during matches and you can see the shock and remorse on his face

Wardlow is there for him tho and I'm soft for that cause Max NEEDS IT
