loving platonic madwheeler is annoying because they're very involved with el and always talking about el, just like el and max are always talking about mike, but it's not like that. for either of them. just like el and mike talking about max before the open closet kiss with mike standing there like a robot isn't the sweet romantic moment people think it is. toss a coin on if the seventh person you've ever encountered writing a platonic madwheeler fic understands any of that though

#i truly don't want to be mean which is why i'm vaguing #but the fic where max and mike were arguing again #and mike was like what's your problem with me #and max like screamed at him that he doesn't HAVE any problems he's not an outcast at all he's not strange at all #he has a perfect life with perfect parents and a perfect house and that pisses max off #tell me you fundamentally misunderstand mike wheeler without telling me you fundamentally misunderstand mike wheeler #i get that it's meant to be a surprise for people who aren't insane analysts like us but it's ANNOYING #someone's being WRONG on the INTERNET #plus max wasn't the one with the problem in s3 lmao #like truly she wasn't. mike was being annoying and jealous because of the separation anxiety due to only ever being separated from el before #immediately after she died #max was being incredibly normal and gracious about his ptsd making him more abrasive #but trauma or not it was also unfair to el #which is what max was SAYING #im sure she has problems with mike but 'youre not a loser like the rest of us' IS NOT ONE OF THEM
