"This smells so good, Uncle David!" Rafaels' daughter immediately started attacking the pancakes.

"You should try the chocolate sauce," Lance pushed the cup towards her. "Papa makes it from scratch."

"Thank you, David," bapak smiled. "You really didn't have to."

"I didn't mind," David smiled back. "Does anyone wants eggs or-"

The chair scraped back loudly.

"I'm not very hungry," the man said. "Excuse me."

"Alec," bapak whispered quietly.

"You guys have fun," the man cleared his throat. "I'm...I'm gonna go for a walk."

"Dad!" Max called.

But he didn't wait. He walked out of the villa.

"I wouldn't mind some eggs," Rafael said to the quiet table.

Day 66

Man I forgot to update this for a while, just been so busy. Not much to report, really. I’m doing well with my job that now allows me to work from home for a fantastic work/life balance. I have an amazing girlfriend that I vibe with super well. She’s comfortable, safe, fun, funny, clever, and just in general a joy to be around and I’m really happy that we found each other.

Kinda makes me feel all the more guilty when I see another pretty girl and feel that attraction. It’s normal, I know. But it feels more inappropriate and just wrong this time around. I guess it was easier when they liked looking at girls too? Now it just feels like I’m a scumbag. I feel like I should just get over it, and probably should bring it up with her. I’m just unsure.

I’m just glad that this is the max of my issues at this time. Much nicer problem to have than before.

Snipps, if you’re reading this, I’ll tell her eventually I’m sure. I hope you don’t feel like you’re privy to secrets from her or something, this is just what I have. I’m a bit of a coward when it comes to this stuff.

"The boys burn easily," David said.

"I forgot about your delicate European complexion," Max rolled his eyes. "Is that why you're staying inside the whole time?"

"What do you mean?" David asked.

"You didn't come to dinner last night," Max pointed out. "With my parents."

"I wasn't feeling well."

"Don't be a dick, David," Max hissed. "They organized this. The least you could do is have a fucking meal with them."
