GENDERBENT MAURADERS HCS PLSSS
YES YES YES
sirius is butch. she's very into mechanics (as sirius always is) and is also part of a dyke biker gang
remus almost constantly wears like long suede skirts yknow the kind?? like brown and beige ones
femme peter. she's also goth and wears a lot of black flowy skirts and shirts and black makeup (as well as like other colours. gives me big eyeshadow fan vibes)
james who's super jacked and wears really short dresses and skirts and shorts. also she has long messy hair that she ties back in a super sloppy ponytail often
also in this au thing the girls are still girls and not genderbent.
^ so yes. wlw couples galore.
wait wait omg. yes peter having a similar style to severus (both fem goths) and when sirius points this out, peter immediately changes her style to practically the opposite (begins wearing more pastels and shit)
james who literally only ever wears sports bras
and sirius who never wears bras
also thinking about name change: sirius still being sirius, james being jamie, peter being petra, remus being either reema or remy (can't decide)- and severus being severina and regulus being either still regulus or regina (as i said, au where everyone is a woman 🫢)
my genderbent peter fc is nicola coughlan but i don't have one for the others
also if we're thinking fraternity then james is in charge of it and it's kinda like all four marauders (+lily) who are in charge of the new recruits and the hazing stuff (i am not american so all ik of like these things is from films so apologies if none of that is what happens in fraternities)

Back with another part of the Teen Wolf Hogwarts AU! It’s based on the Hogwarts house moodboards that scilessweetheart made! But all of her moodboards are amazing.
This is part 3B and it’s called Two Roads Diverged
Make sure you read the other parts first! Intro, part 1, part 2, part 3A
Twice Stiles had nearly slipped down the set of stone stairs that spun around the outside of the tower. The closer he got to the top, the more unsettled he felt. Not only was he nervous about following Malia Hale, but he also didn’t want to be near the hundreds of birds that lived at the top of the Owlery. Birds had always terrified Stiles a little bit, but birds in the magical world? Those were freaky as hell. Lydia had explained it to him a few times, but he still didn’t understand how they knew where to take the letters just by the name you wrote on the top.
What made these birds different from Muggle birds? How did they understand English? How did they deliver messages to insanely exact locations? Once over summer, Lydia had sent him a letter and the bird flew through his open bedroom window to drop it in his lap. Then, the bird waited for him so that it could return to Lydia with his response. It had glared at him and squawked creepily until he got the hint and wrote his response.
As soon as he rounded the corner on the last step, he ran into something, or rather- someone.
“Are you following me?”
“Ah! Jesus-“ Stiles put a hand over his heart. “Were you- were you just waiting around the corner to scare me?”
“Answer the question,” Malia said darkly.
“N-no! I wasn’t following you!”
“Then what were you doing?”
“I’m. . Sending a letter, obviously. What else would I be doing?”
Finally, Malia stepped out of the way to let Stiles into the Owlery and out of the pouring rain. The boy flinched when a bird swooped close to him. There was an obvious discomfort on his scrunched up face as he scanned the room in search for the right bird.
“Where’s you friend McCall? Wasn’t he with you?” Malia glared out the doorway toward the bridge. There was not another student in sight. The rain did stop most people from venturing out of the castle, but usually a few crazy students were out slinging mud at each other, usually Gryffindors that would later muddy up the halls and loose points for themselves.
“Scott? He’s walking Kira back to the castle. Just me out here sending a letter. . in the middle of a storm. Ah, there you are!” Stiles waved to a particularly stoic bird who didn’t seem too happy he had noticed her. It was taking Stiles an awful long time to find the paper he intended on sending. Then, he got out his quill and ink and started writing.
Malia found that oddly suspicious. “You didn’t have it written before coming here?”
After all, who would want to spend twenty minutes writing a letter against a stone slab that was littered in bird poo? The cacophony of chirping made it hard to even have this conversation at all, let alone focus long enough to write a letter.
“I. . Couldn’t risk anyone seeing what I wrote.” Stiles regretted the excuse as soon as he said it because that opened him up to being asked-
“Why?”
“It’s just. . Embarrassing.” Oh god, the cover story that came to his mind was not a good one. Surely he was going to regret this later, “I’m sending it to Lydia.”
Oh, Lydia Martin. Malia knew of her. They were in the same year. In fact, she and Lydia had been keeping a close eye on each other since first year when Lydia confronted her with the theory that Malia was a werewolf. Lydia was right, of course, Lydia is always right. That’s why she was the Ravenclaw Prefect and rumored to be their Headgirl for their final year.
Malia also knew that ever since they met on the train at age eleven, Stiles Stilinski had been in love with Lydia. Through the years, everyone watched his numerous failed attempts at trying to get her to go on a date with him. Just when it seemed like Lydia might finally be leaning towards having a crush on him as well, Stiles would do something terribly awful like throw a dungbomb into a classroom and unknowingly demolish the small sliver of hope he had.
It was almost painful to watch, but everyone was invested now. If they weren’t together by the end of their seventh year, surely they would be by the time they had a class reunion.
“You must really like her if you can’t even risk McCall knowing about your letter.” Malia rarely saw the pair of boys without each other. Actually, this might have been the first time she was ever having a one-on-one with Stilinski. McCall had said hello to her a few times in passing, but they had never said much.
“Yeah well, I do kinda have this five year plan going, and time is sort of running out. But hey- this year has just begun and there’s always next year.” Stiles seemed satisfied with his answer as he rolled up the letter to attach to the owl. Once he sent it off, he shoved his hands in his pockets and asked, “So. . What are you doing here?”
Malia blinked a couple times and wondered, what the hell was she still doing here? Why was she standing around, watching some dork send a love letter to a girl who would never give him the time of day?
Her morning wasn’t exactly the greatest. The news of her bio parents threw off everything. She had no idea how she was supposed to react to learning that, or how others wanted her to see her react. Some people acted like they were walking on eggshells around her. Others were slightly more excited than they should have been about it. Before the article came out, everyone generally tried to avoid her because of her condition, but now people were coming out of the shadows to ask her how she was. Some even tried to act like they had been friendly before even though Malia didn’t even know their name.
“I was sending a letter. What else would I be doing?”
Stiles scratched behind his ear awkwardly. “Yeah, that’s, yeah. No duh, right? Ha. Anyway, with everything going on, did you want to walk back to the castle together? Safer in numbers and all that.”
“I don’t need protection,” Malia insisted.
“Then why did you wait for me to finish writing my letter?”
“I. .” Shit. Malia didn’t have an answer for that. “I just was hoping the rain would let up a bit.”
“Well, lucky for you-“ Stiles pulled a textbook and his want out of his book bag. “-I happen to have an umbrella.”
And with a quickly wave of his wand, the book he was holding really did turn into an umbrella. Malia’s lips parted in shock. Ravenclaws were notoriously bright, but she hadn’t known Stiles was able to apply his book smart skills for practical use. Transfiguration was one of the hardest forms of magic.
One look at the sky and Malia reluctantly decided to take Stiles up on his offer to walk her back. They had to huddle rather close to stay under the umbrella, close than most people dared to get to Malia. It seemed like the other students were afraid of her randomly shifting into the beast they imagined her as. In reality, Malia had not shifted a single time since going to Hogwarts. Her Potions professor gave her a monthly dose of wolfsbane to help stop the transformation.
When they made it to the covered bridge, Stiles shook as much water as he could off of the umbrella then turned it back into his Herbology book. Surprisingly, Malia was waiting for him to do that instead of running off now that she was safe from the rain.
He decided to try his luck again and played off his questioning like he was teasing, “So, I told you about my embarrassing letter. Who were you urgently writing to in a storm like this? A crush?”
Malia made a face of disgust. “Definitely not. I was just telling my parents what happened. They are muggles, so. . They don’t know much about this world. Dumbledore promised me he would send someone to protect and watch over them from afar so that they wouldn’t freak out.”
Stiles felt his heart fall to his stomach. He hadn’t even thought of how Malia’s adoptive family could be affected by all of this. If Dumbledore sent someone to look after them, did he assume they were in danger? Would Malia’s bio parents target her new family to get to her? Was it safe enough for her to go home for winter break?
The possibly of losing a family member is scary. Stiles knew that first hand. He wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
His eyes were a bit glossed over when he whispered, “I hope they’ll be okay.”
Malia studied his vulnerable expression then looked down at her feet. Suddenly this conversation felt like it was just. . too much. Never in a million years did she think she’d be having a heart to heart with the notorious trouble maker and prankster extraordinaire, Stiles Stilinski.
“Me too,” she mumbled.
Once they got to the tower, Malia put her hand on the door to yank it open, but she found herself pausing and looking over her shoulder at the boy. Out of everyone she had spoken to that day, he was the only one who hadn’t asked a single question about her bio parents.
Stiles caught her intense gaze and quickly went red. His hand flew up to fix the front of his hair, worried it had started drying funny from the rain or something. Why else would she be looking at him like that?
“Is it my hair? Is it messed up?”
“No, it looks good,” she said casually.
Stiles swallowed thickly and somehow went even redder than before. Probably because there was a mandrake leaf now caught in his throat. He tried to clear it and swallowed again, losing the leaf. This had to be a new personal record for how fast he wasted one. All he could manage out was, “Oh. Thanks.”
“Thank you for walking me back,” Malia said quickly before disappearing inside.

Harry Potter Movie Streaming Guide: Where to Watch Online
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Who doesn’t love to wind down in front the TV and watch everyone’s favorite boy wizard during a Harry Potter marathon on your NBCUniversal TV channel of choice? Unfortunately, Syfy can’t always be having one of their Harry Potter weekends. (Apparently.) For all of the other hours of your life, here a handy guide to where you can stream the Harry Potter movies online. It’s almost like magic…
There is some bad news on this front, however. As previous mentioned, NBCUniversal controls the broadcast and cable rights to the Harry Potter movie franchise through 2025. And perhaps understandably, they’d rather people watch the movies on their channels on not only via streaming. This means that all eight Harry Potter films were briefly available on WarnerMedia’s native streamer HBO Max in May before being removed a couple months later.
NBCUniversal then hosted the movies on its Peacock streaming platform beginning in August 2020 before taking them off in anticipation of the always-lucrative holiday season of Harry Potter marathons. Expect the movies to come back to Peacock sometime in 2021 but for now Harry Potter is a wizard without a streaming home.
What follows is a list of where Harry, Ron, Hermione, New Scamander, and friends can be found for purchase online.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
The one that started it all. Jump into Harry’s first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Make new friends. Defeat trolls (in the dungeon).
Side-eye that twitchy Professor Quirrell.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon,
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The adventure continues under director Christopher Columbus’ reign. In Harry’s second year at Hogwarts, students (and cats) are ending up petrified. The Chamber of Secrets has opened.
Will Dobby the House Elf and Fawkes the Phoenix be able to help Harry save the school? Probably.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Arguably the best of Harry’s more standalone adventures, the third film in the series is many fan’s favorites as it introduces Sirius Black and the rest of the Mauraders (though, frustratingly, leaves out much of the specific backstory).
Alfonso Cuaron stepped in as director, adding a gritty, whimsical, dark tone to the franchise. Hogwarts would never be the same.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Did you know that Hogwarts wasn’t the only school in the wizarding world? Neither did Harry… until the Triwizard Tournament, which sees the Hogwarts champions pitted against challengers from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.
Bonus elements: Cedric Diggory, Quidditch, teen romance.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The one where Harry turns into an angsty, angry teenager. (If that wasn’t obvious from the promotional art above.)
Come for the promise of some prophecy Professor Trelawney has been mumbling about, stay for the epic duel between dark and light that takes place in the Department of Mysteries. Actually, don’t stay for that. It gets really sad.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Voldemort’s rise is in full background force during Harry’s sixth year at Hogwarts. Students are being pulled from school. Families are being murdered. Weasleys are in danger.
What is Harry doing to distract himself from the scary times? Cheating in potions, of course, with the help of the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 1
My favorite film in the franchise, Deathly Hallows Part 1 is a serious shift in tone for the Potter movies. Harry, Hermione, and Ron are on the run on search for Horcruxes and it is pretty bleak. There’s lots of camping, roaming the English countryside, and listening to the wireless.
We also get a Hermione/Harry dance number set to Nick Cave’s “O Children.” What more could you want from a movie?
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2
The final, epic conclusion to the franchise. Deathly Hallows Part 2is the most action-packed of the Potter series, but that won’t keep you from the feels.
They will hit you like an Unforgivable Curse and they won’t let go.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Welcome to the wonderful world of the expanded Harry Potter film universe! 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is undoubtedly the first of many. And not just the approximately three thousand Fantastic Beasts movies to come (though really five, according to J.K. Rowling), but many other spin-offs as well.
We’ll be sure to keep them all updated on this page.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: Amazon UK, Sky Store, YouTube, Google Play
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald expands the scope of the would-be five installment prequel series greatly. Johnny Depp returns in earnest to portray Wizarding World Hitler analogue Gellert Grindelwald. Jude Law joins the cast as a young, spry Albus Dumbledore.
The movie didn’t fare that well at the box office or amongst critics but there is still plenty of early Harry Potter lore to be mined here along with a compelling action sequence or two.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, YouTube, Google Play, Sky Store
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
All eight Harry Potter films are also currently available to stream on Syfy and USA‘s official websites, if you have a cable subscription that includes those channels. They are also available to stream via FuboTV.

Hi. I checked yesterday on Twitter and it seems like Jeff and Iain were in London yesterday. If that's the case, do you think we should be worried about them not coming back until late into the season? They're supposed to be back in time for SDDC, but it's not really do anything for my nerves. Plus, I would prefer not having the season start off without Fitz. Again. I hated it last time and I'm really started to lose my tolerance with the writers. I'm worried they're phasing Fitz out of AOS.
Hi Anon,
Don’t worry, had AOS wanted to write Fitz/Iain out they would have had Maurader Fitz’s death in the finale be the end of the line and there would have been no mention of them going to find Cryo Fitz and he also would have gotten a memorial kind of thing. My suspicion is actually the opposite in that we’ll continue to see Fitz (and hopefully Jemma) have larger story arcs.
Those pictures that popped up yesterday could have been old pictures, there was no live video in them. For all we know Iain…and Jeff flew back over the weekend. The table read is today so hopefully, he is back for it. Not only is the table read today but he has other things like costume fittings and hair consults. Though if they pick up close to finding Fitz he’ll be in his Rewind outfit and won’t need as many fittings as the rest of the cast who will likely be sporting new looks.
Last season they didn’t have a choice starting off without Fitz. Iain was filming Overlord well into August. And I missed him a lot those first 4 episodes, it became very noticeable to me as they progressed, but Rewind was such a gift and is now one of my all-time favorite episodes that I’m happy with how it worked out.
Not thrilled with how they pulled off killing a version of Fitz and separating Fitzsimmons again though. But what is done is done.
This season Iain doesn’t have another project preventing him from returning with everyone else. I really don’t see them going more than an episode without him, not with a shorter season and them needing to dive right into the story.
Right now I still am leaning two ways of how they are going to handle this.
It plays out a lot like Jemma in Season 3. In that, the Time Jump misses most of the search and we come back right before they have that ah-ha moment and how to get him. This will allow for a “this is what happened over hiatus” fill in and for Jemma to have some moments as Fitz did in 3.01. Depending on where Fitz is will likely determine if/when we see him. My worst case is its again like Jemma on Maveth and we see him in the tag…especially if he’s in danger or someone else got to him first.
There is one heck of a Time Jump and not only do they come back and already have found Fitz but a whole bunch of other stuff has happened too. One of my favorite theories in the back half of Season 5 was that the team would go their separate ways and then Season 6 would see them reuniting and becoming a team again facing a larger threat (or to save Coulson). It would be a surprise and allow the writers to bypass a lot of logistics.
For the record, I’m pretty down either way. I know a lot of people want that Epic Fitzsimmons reunion, but I’m happy just having them reunited at this point.
I’ve been warning all hiatus that there is a very good chance that Iain, Jeff, and Clark will all be hidden once filming starts. Though the cast is more than welcome to prove me wrong on this. They could happily show Iain back in order to use him as a decoy to hide Clark for example. And a year is a long time to keep things under wraps.
I’m not as worried about Iain/Fitz as I am Clark/Coulson. I’m sure we’ll see Coulson at some point but am not sure in what capacity or how large of a role he’ll have in the season.
I know SDCC is wonderful (give me the poster promo team!) but a lot of fans won’t relax until there is proof of Iain on set…preferably with Elizabeth. Until that comes everyone just hang tight. Enjoy that they are back and whatever little goodies we do get from the set.

In their six decades of comics, there have been many different variations of Marvel’s original mutant team, The X-Men. With evolving rosters and varying objectives, no two incarnations of the X-Men are exactly alike, but many of Marvel’s most well-known mutants have claimed membership at some point in the team’s history.
RELATED: 10 Best X-Men Team Rosters In Marvel Comics
The X-Men aren’t Marvel’s only mutant team, however. As their population has grown in the years since 1963’s X-Men #1 first introduced the world to mutants, other mutant teams have followed suit. Some have been offshoots of the X-Men’s ever-expanding family. Others have banded together for less noble purposes, or simply as a means of survival.
10 Alliance Of Evil
Before assembling the first version of his Horsemen, the immortal mutant Apocalypse employed a mutant terrorist team called The Alliance Of Evil. After being defeated by the original X-Factor, The Alliance was abandoned by Apocalypse but continued to operate on their own. Unfortunately, they were equally unsuccessful without him. Members Tower, Stinger, and Timeshadow have each subsequently made a handful of fairly unimpressive appearances. The stand-out of the group, however, is Frenzy, who after a long road to redemption has become a valued member of the X-Men, as well as joining S.H.I.E.L.D.’s extraterrestrial response counterpart, S.W.O.R.D. as Earth’s mutant ambassador.
9 X-Statix
While the x’s in their name might imply that they were one of the X-Men’s many offshoots, X-Statix actually has no connection to the famous mutants, other than their attempt to cash in on that association. A fame-obsessed, media-savvy team of reality-tv show “heroes”, the X-Statix’s missions were only a means to sell merchandise and capitalize upon the popularity of mutants following the public reveal of the Xavier Institute.
With a shockingly high mortality rate, the team had a frequently rotating roster of members, including the acid-sweating Anarchist and the teleporting U-Go Girl. A satirical send-up of celebrity culture, X-Statix brought a fresh approach to Marvel’s mutant books while also lampooning many established superhero tropes before the series ended, appropriately, with the deaths of the entire team.
8 Acolytes
A group of mutants fanatically devoted to the teachings of Magneto, the most dedicated of The Acolytes all but worshipped the master of magnetism as a mutant messiah. Unbeknownst to Magneto, however, one of his original Acolytes, Fabian Cortez, had ulterior motives. Orchestrating the deaths of the rest of the group, along with the seeming demise of Magneto himself, Cortez then organized a second group, leading them in a campaign of mutant superiority while situating Magneto as a martyr. Magneto’s eventual return would divide the Acolytes into rival factions, but his persuasiveness as an alternative to the uphill mission of the X-Men would gradually lure some of Xavier’s students to his cause, including former New Mutants Skids and Rusty Collins, as well as long-time X-Man Colossus.
7 Morlocks
While their uncanny abilities have often led Marvel’s mutants to become adventurers or their adversaries, not all have been inclined to follow this route. For some, survival is their only objective. It was this determination that led to the formation of The Morlocks. An underground village of mutant outcasts, the Morlocks dedicatedly built a secret society of their own beneath the decommissioned subway tunnels of New York City. For years, the Morlocks lived below the bright lights of human society in peace. Their eventual discovery would prove detrimental when most of their population was later wiped out during an invasion by a group of mutant assassins in one of Marvel’s earliest crossovers, The Mutant Massacre.
6 Exiles
Part X-Men, part Sliders, the Exiles are a team of dimension-hopping variants of Marvel’s mainstream mutants. Plucked from their respective worlds and tasked with fixing broken timelines, the Exiles’ mission has taken them to some of the most bizarre reaches of Marvel’s multiverse.
RELATED: 10 Best Alternate Versions Of The X-Men
Their adventures have brought them face-to-face with some of the deadliest versions of classic characters, and the Exiles have suffered a high mortality rate. However, each member killed in action is immediately replaced by a new variant seized from their original universe. Their ranks have included notable recruits such as Age Of Apocalypse fan-favorites Blink and Sabretooth, a heroic version of Mimic, and the mainstream versions of the X-Men Longshot and Psylocke.
5 X-Force
There have been many different versions of X-Force, but all have had one thing indisputably in common: they are the most extreme of the X-Men’s teams. The original version was assembled by the time-traveling soldier Cable from the fragments of Xavier’s second class of students. Pursuing the Professor’s original dream with a more proactive approach, they were aggressive, uncompromising, and strapped full of pouches. Since this first version, each subsequent team has likewise acted as the X-Men’s militant arm, taking on mutant-kind’s most dangerous missions and walking a fine line between heroes and hit squad.
4 Mauraders
A vicious group of mutant mercenaries assembled by one of the X-Men’s greatest villains, the enigmatic Sinister, The Mauraders were assembled solely for the purpose of eliminating lineages that he deemed useless towards the trajectory of the mutant gene pool. When Sinister’s machinations put the Mauarders on a warpath through the home of the sewer-dwelling Morlocks, the X-Men intervened. The result was the slaughter of dozens of the reclusive mutants, as well as the maiming of many of the X-Men themselves. The most significant of their victims, Warren Worthington, the high-flying Angel lost his wings during this massacre, beginning the desperate path to regain his gift that eventually resulted in his transformation into the Horseman Of Apocalypse, Archangel.
3 X-Factor Investigations
Following his tenure as an agent of the US government’s officially sanctioned mutant team X-Factor, Jamie Madrox, The Multiple Man, repurposed the name to form his own team of private investigators, dedicated to solving mutant-centric mysteries. Recruiting many of his former teammates, along with a handful of other established Xavier Institute graduates, Madrox’s team of mutant sleuths has become the definitive incarnation of the name.
Under the helm of acclaimed writer Peter David, X-Factor vol. 3 lasted an impressive 114 issues. During this run, David contributed a list of new elements to the mutant mythos, while also cleaning up many dangling plot threads. Notable milestones included the long-awaited reveal of Longshot and Shatterstar’s true connection and the establishment of Rictor as one of Marvel’s first openly out gay heroes.
2 New Mutants
When the “All-New All-Different” X-Men joined the team in 1975’s relaunch of the then-struggling comic, many of the previous school elements were left behind in favor of a direction focused upon the mutant race’s larger role in the world at large. A few years later, however, Charles Xavier would recruit a new class of students in Marvel Graphic Novel #4 (1982). Dubbed “The New Mutants”, this team would go on to become the benchmark representative of the X-Line’s teen-centric “school for mutants” themes.
RELATED: 5 Ways The Comics New Mutants Were Changed For Film (And 5 Ways They Stayed The Same)
Compared to the adventures of the Original 5, The New Mutants enjoyed a lengthy run of angst, tragedy, and coming-of-age that still resonates with fans 40 years later. Their members have grown and gone on to become heroes in their own right, but the New Mutants maintain their status as the original X-Men spinoff, ushering in the expansion of an entire corner of the Marvel Universe that has become one of the publisher’s most distinctive franchises.
1 The Brotherhood
When Xavier established his first class of X-Men, his longtime friend-turned-rival, Magneto, retaliated, assembling his own team of gifted recruits. Originally adding the adjective “evil” to their name, their early goals were sympathetic towards Xavier’s mission of mutant acceptance but determined to reach results by force. Since Magneto’s first team, many others have been inspired to assemble Brotherhoods of their own. The most notable was led by the mutant terrorist Mystique, whose group initiated a daring assassination attempt against the outspoken anti-mutant presidential candidate Robert Kelly.
While this attempt ultimately failed, the potential success of their mission created the alternate “Days Of Future Past” timeline, which has become one of the most well-known alternate worlds of Marvel’s ever-expanding multiverse. While Xavier’s students fight for acceptance amongst the humans who hate and fear them, every incarnation of The Brotherhood has existed as the opposite side of that coin, determined to establish dominance over mankind as the most guaranteed route towards mutant-kind’s survival.

Strange Magic
Chapter 3: The Boys are Back in Town:
"Guess who just got back today Them wild-eyed boys that had been away Haven't changed that much to say But man, I still think them cats are crazy
They were askin' if you were around How you was, where you could be found Told 'em you were livin' downtown Drivin' all the old men crazy
The boys are back in town (The boys are back in town)"
The Maurader's stepped down on to Hogsmeade Platform and made their way to the waiting thestral pulled carriages. The lads got in and the carriage pulled away. Lily's flame coloured hair caught James is eye. Snape had accosted her and had hold of her wrist. James frowned and pulled his wand from his school robes. The carriage lurched around a corner removing the scene from view.
"That utter bastard." He glowered.
"What's up, Prongs?" Asked Peter.
"That wanker, Snivellus, had hold of Lily."
"She won't thank you for fighting her battles for her." Said the group's voice of reason, Lupin.
"Too right, Moony. Never try and second guess women. Try to defend her and you'll be in the wrong, best just leave her to sort her own dramas, mate." Added Sirius.
"I pity anyone who ends up being your girlfriend" retorted James
"If that was my girlfriend, I wouldn't be in the carriage. I'd have jumped out and be cursing the wanker from here to oblivion. However, she isn't my girlfriend, and more importantly she isn't yours."
"Also, she had Hestia, Marley and Alice with her." Chipped in Peter.
"If he crosses the line Hes is lightning fast with her hex's. He won't stand a chance." Lupin tried to mollify him.
James flopped back into the carriage with a huff.
"We have our welcome back treat to plan for tonight..." Sirius prompted
Meanwhile, the girls stand off with Snape by the carriages is getting heated. Lily pulled her hand from his grasp.
"Don't touch me!" Lily instantly felt teary from the confrontation with Sev. She had missed her best friend over the summer, she had felt lonely with out him. Lily had considered forgiving him, but she would never have treated him as such no matter what the circumstances.
"Lilly, didn't you get my letters?" Snape said softly, he always spoke quietly.
"I did. I read them but I chose to ignore them. I don't want to talk to you about this. You made your feelings perfectly clear when you called me a mudblood."
"I was under duress, I was being humiliated by your housemates."
"We were best friends. Best friends don't do that to one another." Lily's friends had arrived by this point.
"Are you okay, Lily?" Asked Hestia placing a reassuring hand on the redhead's back.
"I'm fine, Severus was just leaving."
"I was trying to have a private conversation, with my friend."
It was at that point Rufus Avery, and Emmeric Mulciber approached.
"Having trouble with the birds, Snape?" Asked Mulciber leering at Marley.
"I wouldn't touch a bunch of mudbloods and half-breeds if they were giving it away."
"You would know, Avery, the only way you could get a woman to shag you is if you pay for it." Spat Marley, fully recovered from her come down.
"Lily was just telling your mate to fuck off." Said Alice with a look of loathing in her eyes.
"I think I could convince you otherwise" Leched Mulciber reaching a hand forward he brushed Marley's cheek.
"Taranta-" Began Hestia, in defence of her friend.
Crack. Marley decked Mulciber's chin, then kneed him for good measure. Hestia barged past Snape pushing Lily in front of her into the waiting carriage. Alice grabbed Marley and dragged her into the carriage. In the kafuffle it appeared one of the girls had used the Toe Nail Growing Curse on Avery as he hopped about screaming, the nails of his toes beginning to protrude through his shoes. The carriage began to move away from the Slytherin's. Snape looked longingly at Lily as she and her friends moved into the Forest surrounding Hogwarts.
"I think I broke my knuckle." Lamented Marley cradling her hand to her chest.
"I think you broke the twats jaw. Go you!" Said Hestia.
"Here let me fix that for you" Alice reached out to gently take Marley's hand. "Episkey"
"Thank you. Much better. Who did the toe nail thing?"
"Me" Said Lily, sadly looking at her lap. "I cast it silently. I was practicing before we left in the summer, knowing it would come up this year." She looked up at her friends, tears falling.
"I'm sorry things have turned to shit with Severus, Lils." Alice hugged her friend. "It's not easy to loose someone you care about. However, that was a top bit of magic"
"I know you lot don't understand but he was always a really ace bloke to me. He's just got in with the wrong crowd, and has been listening to some shocking ideas on how the world aught to be." It didn't help that Severus lived in an abusive home situation that made him feel powerless, that would skew anyone's world view. Lily sighed. This was not the way she imagined starting her sixth year.
"Look there's Hogwarts. We're nearly there." The girls turned to look. The castle shone ethereally in the moonlight on it's cliff above the forest. It never ceased to amaze Marley, it never would. Finding out she was a witch and all the strange shit that kept happening around her was magic had been amazing. Her brother ,Toby, had been sent a letter just like hers four years ago, he ended up being sorted into Hufflepuff. Her muggle mum and dad were chuffed to bits having a witch and wizard in the family. Arriving at Hogwarts for the first time, seeing her brother sorted and receiving the Hogwarts letter were some of her favourite memories.
Theirs was one of the last carriages to arrive at the huge oak doors that lead into the castle. Unusually there was a lot of students hanging around the doors laughing and pointing into the entrance hall. Lily stood down from the carriage, shaking her fiery hair form her face and throwing her shoulders back she pushed her way to the front. Her friends trailed after her.
"Excuse me, pardon me, I'm Prefect, let me through." Hestia called from behind Lily as she navigated the excited crowd. She could hear music coming from inside, it sounded like Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Lily frowned in confusion. She peered over the heads of her fellow students. Her mouth fell open as the scene before her came into view.
The suits of armour that normally quietly (and more importantly unmovingly) guarded the entrance hall were singing and dancing in a well choreographed performance. The song came to an end and they started Step in Time.
"Do you think the Marauder's went for Mary Poppins because Mary's blatantly a witch and Bert's a squib?" Mused Marley at her elbow.
"It's a fucking fantastic bit of magic, that." Said Alice as she barged her way to where the other girls were standing.
"Don't let them hear you say that, Allie. Their heads are big enough as it is. They might explode... Actually, that might be a good thing." Lily snorted.
"More importantly, what do you mean Bert's a squib?" Asked Hestia "He has control of the painting world and makes all the chimney sweeps fit down those tiny chimney's..." Professor McGonagall had come into the hallway and spritely moved through the dancing suits of armour. She came to the front of the hall and waved her wand with a flourish. The clanking of armour ceased, then the suits move back to their original positions, guarding the hallway once more.
"That quite enough. Make your way to the Great Hall and be seated for the sorting ceremony. Spit spot." Said Professor McGonagall once order had been restored.
The students went to their respective house tables. The Marauder's filtered in mingling with the others, trying for nonchalance. Sirius got to the table first, sitting next to Lily earning him a huff from James as he sat by him. Remus and Peter squeezed in next to Hestia. Shortly after the Sorting Ceremony began.
"So... who's the Mary Poppins fan?" Murmured Hestia to Remus. Remus swallows, Hestia's proximity always made him slightly nervous.
"Um, that would be Pete. He thought it was appropriate seeing it's a film about a witch."
"I told you so." Marley whispered loudly from across the table. Lily and Alice roll their eyes in unison.
"Personally, I think it comes with the territory. You know, loving musical etc.." Implied Black.
Peter reddened, then says in a hushed tone. "You would know, Padfoot, you've snogged enough blokes."
"You say it like it's a bad thing, Wormy. I just don't limit myself, I'm selfless that way." He gave Marley a wicked grin. Remus snorted.
"You sound like Marley, she's not fussy either." Chipped in Lily softly.
"I beg your pardon! I am certainly fussy, fuck you very much. I have standards you know. I don't care about the sex someone is as long as their hot!" Defended Marley in a mock angry hiss. Sirius looked at her love struck.
James nudges him. "Your tongue belongs in your mouth not on the table. The fact that she hasn't eaten your face yet probably means you aren't up to her standards."
"Please, I'm too hot for her to handle, and you know it." Responded Sirius. James shook his head, sometimes there was no talking to Black.
McGonagall coughed loudly looking in their direction. The Ceremony came to it's end as the final Ravenclaw joined their table. McGonagall took the stool and Hat away as Dumbledore stood to make his speech.
"Now that you have had plenty of time to empty your brains over the summer. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you all that outside of these walls members of the magical community seek to divide us with hate and animosity for what is different. Within Hogwarts we must work together to be united as one against those that think love is not the strongest bond of all.
Now, enough of all this seriousness-"
"Hehe, Sirius-ness." Whispered Black elbowing James who gave him a withering look.
"It is time to fill our stomachs, for our minds cannot learn with out sustenance." Dumbledore flourished his hands and the plates filled with the students favourite food. "Enjoy."
Sirius reached for a steak and then asked Remus to pass the mashed potatoes, before covering his plate in gravy.
"I'm miss Hogwarts cooking when I'm not here." He sighed with happiness as he began to eat his meal with gusto. Lily wrinkled her nose at the sight.
"You know that house elves cook at my house, right Padfoot?" Asked James
"Yeh, but it's just not the same." He said around mouthfuls. The others helped themselves to food as Sirius began his second helping. Once the pudding course was done Dumbledore stood.
"Now we have filled our belly's it is time to take part in another important piece of the learning journey. Sleep, good night and happy dreaming to you all."
"First Years Follow myself and Remus" Called Hestia standing at the table, waiting for them to gather around them before heading in the direction of the Gryffindor common room. On reaching the portrait the Fat Lady asked her for the password
"Felix Culpa" The portrait swung open revealing a hole through which Hestia and Remus step through trailed by first years. The common room is comfy, cosy with it's roaring fire and squashy arm chairs, and mostly empty other than a few straggling students. Remus showed the new first year boys to their dorms, Hestia the girls, before retiring to her own dorm room.
Remus finds the Marauder's lounging on his bed setting off some of Filibuster's finest. He rolls is eyes. "Why, Why does it always have to be my bed?" He asks exasperated.
"Because you’re the only one who cares how their bed looks?" Replies Peter
"It's nearest the door?" Suggests Sirius
"Because we know how much it pisses you off." Answers James. Remus scowls but joins them anyway. They never slept much the first night back. If you can't beat them join them.

My Trip To Warner Brothers Studios - Reflection 1
On the tour itself, I arrived at the tour to see the grounds were very spacious, the entrance had the 3 chess pieces from the first film, Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone. All 3 of the statues were very tall and stood out in the front, I think that having that as the main monument is definitely a good thing to have as it’ll be the first thing that the fans see when they arrive at the tour. When I went inside, I saw that there was a poster for the new film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald, this was on a very big billboard so it was very hard to miss, this showed me that the studio is keeping up to date with what is being produced and directed, this is also because it’s related to Harry Potter so they want a way of informing the visitors of the new film and by presenting the characters that are in the movie itself.
I advanced ahead and the hallways were covered with quotes from the movies by many of the characters and the design layout was related to the Mauraders Map - used by Fred and George Weasley and Harry Potter in The Prisoner Of Azkaban. There was also music playing at the start of the tour, this gave me a nostalgic feeling back to the very first time when I saw the first Harry Potter, it felt like I was personally taking a trip into the real Harry Potter universe and I’m sure this is what excites the fans when they are on the route to getting to the main parts of the tour. I was then lead to a room where there was a guide who began to talk about the development of Harry Potter and the uprising of it when it first came to light with the public, it showed the power and love in fans when the films began to be released and it brought everyone together and created a new universe for them to escape to.
The next part of the tour was more independent as I was put into the Great Hall and the rest of the other tour, each part had costumes and props from the original movie, there was a guide present at the start to explain about certain costumes, i.e. Hagrid, and the development of the characters itself. The next step of the tour was the main independent stage, it was a lot more open as there was more props and more attractions shown around when I went through, this was possibly one of the best parts as there was information placed around certain parts that were the most important and more detailed, this part was really interesting as there were different interactions such as, experiencing Quidditch, perfoming magic with the broom and spell performing mirrors, having these types of interactions was definitely a really good thing to experience and see how the actors did it during their filming time.
The next part for the tour was the forbidden forest, this was one of the newest attractions and this is one of the things that I was excited for, there was the cave of Aragog and an interactive Buckbeak, seeing Buckbeak in the flesh was such an experience but I wished there was more construction development shown as to how the developers got to the final design of him as that would’ve been a really cool development to see, the spiders were also really cool to see as they were hanging from the ceiling and dropped down to head level, this was a very cool effect to have in the forest as the atmosphere was very creepy and dark.
The next attractions involved the Dursley’s house on Privet Drive, Platform 9 and three quarters at Kings Cross Station, The Knight Bus, the development of the characters, Diagon Alley, Concept Art of the films, development of the buildings and the final part was the castle itself. I loved the whole tour, it showed almost everything that I wanted to know but I do wish that there was more interactions and physical activities that I could’ve experienced on this trip.

Do you think the cast was trolling us at SDCC about finding Fitz? People seem to think that they won't find Fitz. I'm hoping they were just trolling. I remember Iain did that about Radcliffe back in SDCC 2016 and if he would appear in the new season. I'm just not a huge fan of the idea of Fitz sitting out another couple of episodes, especially the premiere. The writers are treating him the way they treated Ward in S2 (constantly out of focus or absent). It's really alienated me as a viewer.
Hi Anon,
The cast couldn’t reveal ANYTHING about the story at SDCC. Like they have handlers who will catch them if they start to reveal too much. How the cast was talking about Fitz was very similar to how they talked about Jemma after she was taken by the monolith. They also literally don’t know past the episode they have right now. So they know if they’ve got Fitz back or not but aren’t going to reveal it. Just like I’ll be utterly shocked if he’s in any of the episode promo pics when we get them.
And Iain is GOOD at hiding things. Very good. I never know if he’s hiding something with his “I don’t knows” or if he really doesn’t know yet. It should also be noted there were a lot of “I don’t knows” from Jeff too. The cast will meet with the writers early in the season to discuss where things are going to go. Then if they have something huge happen like Ward being Hydra, Maurader Fitz dying or Daisy getting Hived, have a special meeting later in the season.
No one, including John, know where Radcliffe arc was going to go for Season 4 at SDCC. And I will die on the hill they changed his arc at some point. Same actually goes for Jason and Mallory. Mallory didn’t know what her character would become when she was cast for the role, she thought it was only going to be a few episodes initially.
With the shorter Season I don’t think that they can keep Fitz/Iain out of the mix for long. I am really prepared to only see him in the tag in the Premiere ala Jemma in 3.01 and anything more will surprise me. If he’s not in the premiere I think we’ll at least learn where he is. IE he could be in the premiere but its a Han Solo in carbonite kind of deal and he’s stuck in the cryo chamber while stuff happens around him.
I feel like I’m beating a dead horse with this one, but last season an exception was made for Iain to return late so he could film Overlord. Overlord did not wrap until mid/late August and they could not delay production waiting for him. The show knew well in advance what it would entail when the agreed to let him come back late. The writers worked the story accordingly. They didn’t set out to not have Iain in the first 4 episodes, it was something they adapted to the situation. AND WE GOT REWIND OUT OF IT! Had Iain been back from the beginning that likely wouldn’t have happened.
I wish I could assure you that yes, Iain is in the premiere and here is my proof. But I can’t do that. They just started filming last week and they cast is on lockdown from set. Lil was hidden as well in Season 3 as to not spoil when they got her back. So the mystery of Fitz, where he is, and if he’s back or not is going to linger for quite a bit. Regardless he is going to have and be part of a major arc be it he’s who they are trying to find or his recovery from the Framework and what he missed. That is even before what his role will be with the main story/baddie of the season.

Here’s why Coulson should not have went to the future instead of Fitz: if there were two Coulsons it would have allowed Fitzsimmons more time to find a cure or a way to prolong his lifespan. We would have discovered his deal with Ghostrider and that Coulson would have inevitably died but we would have been able to find the second (philinda can acc stay together). His death may have broke the loop depending on how he died, had he died the way Fitz did and not waiting for death.
Hi Anon,
I TOTALLY would have been down for this to have happened. I know a theory more than a few of us had last season surrounding the terms of Coulson’s deal is that he would have to “go somewhere” because of it. Even going into the finale I expected to possibly lose Coulson in some sort of sacrifice that left him in limbo and needing to be rescued, his rescue the thing that helped bring the team back together. And that the first part of Season 6 would be the team tracking him down. So hey we got part of that right in that someone on the team did need to be tracked down, only were wrong with the Who at that point.
As a Fitzsimmons fan I would have really enjoyed them getting to stay together through a finale for the second time, and no be separated again. And I think it would have been nice to give Philinda some of the focus in that search. They would have had another parallel of what happened with Robo May where there was a significant shift in the relationship but the Rescued Coulson wouldn’t have experienced it.
I think the writers went the route they did with Fitz for a couple of reasons.
The first big one was working around Iain not getting back until they were filming Episode 4/5. They needed a way to explain Fitz’s absence from the others. Now I totally agree that they didn’t have to leave him behind. He could have gone through with the others but wound up with Voss and Owen on the surface, and his reveal still been a huge holy crap there he is moment in 4.
Once they decided for Fitz to take the long way it allowed for a lot of story options they likely wouldn’t have done otherwise. Rewind set up the back half of the season for them, introduced Hale, brought in Robin/Polly, and positioned Maurader Fitz. I also believe that other items down the like the wedding going off without issue (ninjas would have showed up or something), Fitz’s break (IE the Doctor would have indeed been a manifestation), and the severity of the team fracture would not have happened had they not intended on killing Maurader Fitz at the end.
The writers had this plan for Coulson all along, like from day one all along. They told a 5 season arc and I believe the how changed thanks to the introduction of Ghost Rider in Season 4, they show always intended on ending with Coulson dying, this time on his own terms.
What’s done is done. Many of us have vented our frustration repeatedly that they went back to the overdone separate Fitzsimmons trope once more and nothing can really change that aside from how they get Fitz back and how long it takes.
They also have to figure out how/if they work Coulson into the narrative. He had such a good send off, on his terms, that like Bobbi and Hunter’s Spy’s Goodbye it’s hard to come back from as you don’t want to ruin the original moment. For all we know there is another version of him out there they come across or find out about when they are getting Fitz back. We know from Clark that the writers want Coulson back in some capacity for Season 6 and until hints start to emerge sky is the limit.
#agents of shield#aos meta#ask agl03#forever salty about them separating Fitzsimmons again#and yes this would have been a really cool way to go

What follows is a list of where Harry, Ron, Hermione, Newt Scamander, and friends can be found to stream online.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The adventure continues under director Christopher Columbus’ reign. In Harry’s second year at Hogwarts, students (and cats) are ending up petrified. The Chamber of Secrets has opened.
Will Dobby the House Elf and Fawkes the Phoenix be able to help Harry save the school? Probably.
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Build your very own LEGO Hogwarts: Chamber of Secrets set right here!
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Available in the US on: Google Play, YouTube, Amazon, HBO Max
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, Google Play, Sky Store, YouTube
Available in the UK on: NOW TV with a Sky Cinema Pass, Amazon UK, YouTube, Google Play, Sky Store
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
All eight Harry Potter films are also currently available to stream on Syfy and USA‘s official websites, if you have a cable subscription that includes those channels. They are also available to stream via FuboTV.
