Backstage season 1 was really good but bad because Vanessa, Carly, Sasha, and Jenna were breaking apart. Julie got pulled out of Keaton because of  Denzel but Julie came back and forgave him. Scarlett lost he voice and was scheduled to have surgery. Bianca and Jax started to date but Bianca audition for a part in L.A. and Jax was going on tour with kit because she was dj diamondmind but Bianca got news that she didn't get the part. Alya went on tour and came back, Alya and Miles started to go out when she got back. Then Miles and Julie almost kissed when Miles told Alya, Alya broke up with him. That was it for all of them.

Disney's Previous Drug Storyline

with Gay Subtext

Jax and best friend Miles from “Backstage.”

The newest Andi Mack mystery is: what's in the bag that the blond boy shows to Cyrus?  The most obvious conclusion is that it's drugs, but fans are wondering, "Would Disney go there?"  Actually, Disney Channel has gone there before.

The show was called "Backstage," a sort of soap opera version of High School Musical set in a performing arts high school.  The series ran for two seasons, 60 episodes, before ending in 2017.  It was more drama than comedy and had no studio audience, so no laughter or applause.

Now, the "gay" part of my article was not canon but a real obvious subtext in the show.  Jax Gardner (Matthew Isen) was a musician though not enthusiastic about public performing but more into music production, recording, and being a DJ.  He was also insecure and socially awkward.  And he was totally devoted to his best friend Miles Lennox (Josh Bogert) and became a sidekick to him.  Their affection was mutual.  Their fan ship name is Milax.

Unlike Jax, Miles was a public performer, a singer and guitar player.  He was more confident and socially outgoing than Jax.  He was tall, good looking, charismatic, and romantically pursued by the girls.  Think Jonah Beck without the sports.

It's easy to compare Miles and Jax with Jonah and Cyrus.  Cyrus and Jax's crushes were similar.  The flirting was obvious.

Now to the "drug" part.  Jax sees a text message that says Miles is trying to obtain drugs, and he also sees some pills that Miles had been taking.  Jax and the TV audience are led to believe, for several episodes, that Miles is a user of illegal drugs.  However, it turns out these are prescription drugs for kidney disease, but the story arc enabled the show to present an anti-drug message.

Back to Andi Mack, the bag could contain drugs or it might be something else.  The show has already gone into "adult" territory before:  a pregnant unmarried teen (Bex), a boy with panic attacks, and, oh yes, a gay boy or two.  There shouldn’t be much of a viewer uproar if drug use is presented in a negative light.

Han gör nästan allt du vill ha från en franchisespelare - förutom att vara en oöverträffad personlighet som inte bara drar ögonen genom hans prestanda på isen, men också genom hans brashness från isen. Därför är Jack Eichel från Buffalo Sabers, den amerikanska hockeyens Salieri till Matthews Mozart, mitt val. Letar du efter högkvalitativa och Hockeytröja barn?
