Some season 8 predictions~
After weeks of feeding myself with delicious metas and discussions (mainly on twitter), plus the stills and the trailer, this is my last prediction list/reach list/wishlist for s8. Is it crazy? Yes. Do I think the season will be even crazier than I can fathom? Also yes. Am I boo boo the fool? 🤡 mayhaps. But this is the last season, I’m going all out, no time to feel shame lol.
This is heavily based on my time travel theory too, though I’ve changed my mind about some aspects (mostly the end). We’ll see if I get to nail at least one of these lol. Also, lotura and klance trigger warnings for the WEAK. Stretch before reading this, heavy reaches under the cut!
1- The Altean takes a while to heal. During this time, the AL date happens, meaning we could get it as early as ep 1 or 2 at most.
2- The tree reviving is a cute moment but it totally marks Allura as someone “too special”. Lance may start doubting.
3- We finally get Lance's Garrison flashbacks. We see how he was before he started his fake rivalry with Keith, before the overconfident mask.
4- Pouty Keith is back. He might be uncomfortable at this development. And by that I mean jealous.
5- The Altean is called Merla or Avok.
6- Admiral Shirogane gets his deserved promo and a new crew of humans/aliens, right? MFE guys might stay on Earth (Or else who the heck is gonna stay to defend Earth? The Coalition, ok, but must all competent humans leave? lol)
7- The Altean reveals that Lotor has worked alongside Alteans since forever. Romelle’s story is debunked, she disappears or turns on them.
8- The Altean isn’t sure what Lotor intended, but they are 100% loyal to Honerva now ‘cause after his disappearance she achieved what Lotor couldn’t: their promised comeback starting with a new home in Oriande, and stopping the “sacrifices” (pilots lost trying to retrieve the comet on the rift, alteans who gave too much quintessence and had to be put in the pods Keith and Krolia saw!).
9- Lotor was framed. He is not all innocent, but his subjects weren’t slaved for him to accomplish his goal.
10- Honerva wanted to separate him from Allura after she discovered his plans and used them to frame him. Keith, Allura and everyone bought it. He is now with his mother and she may be trying to cleanse him from rift corruption. He is not awake yet.
11- Matt’s gf could also be an undercover Altean. Otherwise... WHY.
12- Honerva wrecks a new Kral Zera. That’s the first time the team faces her. Galtean Empire is real. She is now the most powerful ruler of the universe, using her magic and their resources.
13- I don’t like this one but I’m sold: maybe this is when Keith is corrupted. He stays this way for at least a few episodes, including the game filler (the dark eyes convinced me lol). Also, Shiro helps them win whatever that is by just being oblivious lol.
14- Acxa works for Honerva. She double-crosses the team and Keith in particular, though she might (again, AGAIN) change sides (Veracxa plz interact).
15- Another one I dislike but ugh. M-Matt Holt i-is *chokes* severely hurt and Allura has to perform an emergency transmutation or whatever to pass his soul to that ugly af robot. (I’ll never forgive them if this one is true). If this happens, Pidge might be super affected and vulnerable to Honerva’s control.
16- So, what were Lotor and now Honerva's plans? To avoid the entire Daibazaal fall from happening. How? She will break the time tissue and cross realities to reach that point and for that she needs Voltron. That’s why she attacked Earth.
17- We get glimpses of how things were before and after the fall. We see the paladin's of old deaths (Haggar killed them). They probably gave their lives protecting the Lion's locations, but they couldn’t hide Red.
18- Honerva separates the paladins from their Lions, turns them against them.
19- The paladins fight rift creatures in their own astral plane spaces. The rift creatures take the form of themselves (they fight their doppelgangers and probably lose). I want to believe Hunk is the one with highest chances of defeating his own clone. Miight save the day again <3.
20- More flashbacks. We see young Sendak and FINALLY will know how and where he found the Red Lion. Probably centuries ago.
21- So, if he found Red in a lava planet, it’s there where Keith could be fighting someone. And that someone MAY be the current Red Paladin, over the control of this lion.
22- Climax klance fight. Lance is defensive and we might see into his memories again (the rivalry is at its climax, we should see where it started. My bet: the Griffin fight ;) ).
23- Keith is saved. Klance happens.
24- Meanwhile, Allura is fighting her own battle. Honerva uses Lotor illusions to weaken her. He hasn't recovered for real.
25- The Alteans turn against Honerva, maybe because they learn she is Haggar or because they discover her real plans and how that will wreck the entire universe.
26- The Alteans power the Atlas to help them follow Honerva through the rift. Slav warns them about the risks of what she's trying to do, they must stop her.
27- In the last battle, the paladins manage to get back their Lions. They defeat Honerva. We might get an emotional scene about her trying to save Lotor as her ultimate goal and how much she regrets everything. Maybe she gives her powers to Allura. Or him?
28- Allura saves Lotor from corruption.
29- The rift gets out of control. To repair it and close it, they must use the Lions (made of the comet) to fix the broken tissue of time/space. That will mean their destruction.
30- Allura and all the magical alteans have to close it from the other side, using the infinite quintessence from the rift itself to do so. She must say goodbye to her friends, including Coran, who can't go with her (he’s not chosen) :(((((
31- Lotor, if alive, goes with her. They will be on another reality and without the Lions, with no means to go back.
32- The leaks are confirmed. They probably take pics to send to Allura because they found or hope to find a way to send them to her, even if they can’t go.
33- Shiro is finally happy and takes a deserved nap.
34- I'm gonna cry my eyes out. The end lol.
Yeah, I’m defending lotura and klance endgames, what of it? Thanks to all the intellectuals who inspired this (astro, theredpaladins, synth and diosastre on twitter).

Dropping hints is practically the safest way to get about anything in life. If the person noticed the hint and decided to do something about it, then it’s your lucky day. And, if they choose to ignore it then you just have to assume that they didn’t really pick it up. But desperate times call for desperate measures!

I told him he could come home with me after the movie and show me a move we saw during a sex scene. He didn’t go home with me. I don’t think it was because he found me unattractive, but I can’t be sure anymore.
edit: in response to many commenters, the movie was one of the latest James Bond flicks where he sneaks onto the enemy boat and manages to sex up the lady in the shower on the way. I also wouldn’t have dared say something so bold if this wasn’t our fourth date and we’d already progressed to making out during that movie. I thought it was the logical last step, but he just kissed me goodbye.
9. Take me to the other side.
When me and my fiance were in high school we were “best friends”, which of course meant I was too big of a chicken to tell him how I really felt. Well, my move was to always take the seat in front of him and purposely have my thong showing while we had lectures. This went on for all the classes we had together, and we had a lot. I finally had to confess how I felt to him before he left our home town for college after three years of this game. It turns out he was a chicken too. He said those four years were the biggest tease imaginable, it’s hilarious to talk about now.
10. I love Hugo Weaving so much.
*Sighs* So I’ve actually had sex with a girl before realizing she was actually into me.
She knocks on my dorm room door wearing a miniskirt and carrying a chocolate cake (a whole chocolate cake) and says she just baked it and was wondering if I’d like to try some. I tell her that I’m not a big fan of chocolate (crushing her) but was intelligent enough to add that I’d like try it anyway. We set the cake aside. I invite her in and she asks what I’m up to.
I tell her the truth, that I was about to start watching V for Vendetta, and she squeals that she loves that movie and asks if she can watch it with me. We lay down on my unfolded futon and start watching it together under a blanket (this was in the dead of Boston winter).
We’re watching the movie and she starts making all these comments about Hugo Weaving. “I love Hugo Weaving so much.” “God, Hugo Weaving is so hot.” “Man, Hugo Weaving makes me so horny.” And all this time I’m like “yeah he’s a great actor I loved him in the Matrix”
Maybe 20 minutes pass by and all of a sudden I feel her rubbing up against me and she’s, well, touching herself. “Sorry, I hope you don’t mind, I just got really horny and couldn’t help myself.” And here I am thinking I’m the luckiest dope in the world and I’m so glad I picked a movie that had Hugo Weaving in it. 12. That escalated sooner than expected.
Hitting on my now boyfriend of three years. I was complimenting him on how handsome he was and how he had beautiful eyes.
