i was fully spoiled for every character appearance and reveal in this volume but i was still going beniko?? clara??? SHINOBU??? TANUMA?????? MATOBA????????? every time someone showed up lol

volume 30 delivered!!!!

#this is overwhelming i feel like i understand 15% of what happened #i have to reread it immediately #i've been spoiled for too many things and i'm having trouble keeping track of what natsume/the audience is supposed to know #at any given point. like i think at the end when shinobu says it's her in the portrait i think that's when we're supposed to learn #she's matoba's sister? it's certainly news to natsume but i think the reader too? but of course i already knew about it #i don't know who's stealing shit except the curator lady is involved. like she is stealing it but for whom?#not matoba (he would not feel the need to lie about it to natsume lol)#an elegant woman with long hair...that doesn't really seem to describe the curator herself to me #but shinobu doesn't have long hair...and ban is a guy...#where is clara in all this #but ban talked to tanuma's dad's friend and then tanuma's dad's friend got freaked out and wanted to sell an item at the auction #and ban said to tanuma 'so that's where it went' or something...#matoba is easily the least suspicious person here and that is saying something #i should reread the salon chapters too
