Of Maia and Elves
Maedhros x Reader
I’ve decided to go ahead and use the Sindarin names for the Noldor
When she decided to help the Noldor she hadn't expected much in return from them besides maybe a few silver bracelets thrown in the ocean as thanks, maybe a golden necklace or two, or some pearl earrings. Never in all of Arda did she think the thanks she would receive would be in the form of love. Love of all things was the one thing she neither needed nor wanted and now she was stuck in a corporeal form.
Now here she was angry and frustrated, switching from one shape to another trying to scare them all off. She was going to kill them, which ever elf had the audacity to fall in love. Námos be damned!
“Who did it?!”
No one dared to say a thing. She had gone from a beautifully ethereal creature to a hideous kraken. Now she didn't know what her form looked like, but by the look on the elves faces it wasn't very pretty.
She repeated her question this time taking the time to look around and then she saw it. The face of a man afraid and in love, so she ran to him at first in the shape of vicious monster and then she decided that killing him wasn't enough. Nope killing him wasn't enough she was going to torture him a little first. So the giant monster turned into a little mouse and up the elves trouser. She bit and clawed at his legs, but he started to fidget and curse. She went up towards his torso and did the same, but this time he fought back. Where she went he tried to grad at, but she always seemed to escape him.
In the satisfaction of her work she slowed down and he managed to grab a hold of her tiny little rodent body. He must of ripped his top off and flung it away because one second she was squirming in his hands and the next she was halfway across the beach.
She went back to the form she had taken when the accident happened and for a moment it seemed the tables had turned. He rushed towards her and screamed out, “What is wrong with you?!”
He was tall for an elf and handsome too. Had it been under different circumstances she wouldn't have minded the unwanted affection. But these weren't different circumstances and now she was stuck as a being of flesh and bone until the elf died.
“What’s wrong with ME!” She kicked his shin and he grouted and fell to the ground. He grabbed on to her and they wrestled around the sand until she bit his hand and he pushed her way from him. He moved away from her and tried to get up.
Maedhros screamed, “You're a vile, sadistic, little creature!”
“SADISTIC!” He saw the anger in her eyes and he regretted ever getting on those boats.
“I’m SADISTIC!” She walked towards him and he nearly relieved himself when his eyes met her gaze again. The look in her eyes had changed from anger to pure unadulterated rage. “I should have let Uinen sink all your ships.”
“And saying that proves you’re any less sadistic?” He looked hurt. He had his hand over where she had taken the biggest bite, but she could still see the way it had begun to bruise. The small bites and scratches she had given him had all drawn blood and looking at him trying to hide the pain he surely felt made her feel ashamed of her actions.
“I’m sorry I bit you, but you deserved it!”
“How in Arda did I deserve to nearly get eaten alive by a rodent? Please do pray tell!”
“Don’t act like you don’t know what you did!” He looked surprised by her statement.
“For the sake of time just tell me what I did?”
“I’m immortal and you’re nearly immortal!” She pointed at her self and then to him, “We have all the time in the world.”
He sat himself beside her and for the first time since their little fight had started he remembered that he was surrounded by thousands of his people and all of them were looking at him or more importantly at her.
“Fine, if not for the sake of time, then for the sake of my people tell me what I have done to warrant such a reaction?”
She looked at up at him and noticed that the form she had settled in was much smaller than his.
“I know you’re in love with me.”
“That’s ridiculous I just met you.” Maedhros tried to sound as honest as he could. He technically wasn’t lying. He had just met her and it was ridiculous of him to fall in love with her so prematurely.
“Don’t lie to me,” She could feel her face tighten into a scowl.
“I don’t know how you knew, but I don’t understand why my feelings for you would elicit such a violent reaction from you.”
Her face softened and her mouth let out a little oh, “You don’t realize what you have done.”
“What?!”
“We’re married now.”
He didn’t know what he expected her to tell him, but it most certainly was not that, “No! We are not!”
“We are so! I’m bound to you, Maitimo!” She said his mother name in a way that made him almost through up. “As long a you’re alive I’m forced to maintain my Fëa in a corporeal form.”
They sat in the sand for what seemed like a long time and then out of nowhere she got up and offered him a hand up. She looked like a goddess and he looked like he had just finished fighting a bear.
“Come on husband! You’re father is about to do a very stupid thing and we need to stop him.”
P.S. I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing but I’m doing it

Hope Till Hope Creates
Maedhros x Reader
Preview for a new series im trying to write. It’s kinda like a Stardust inspired story.
A fallen star,
A broken prince,
And a hungry monster,
In a sullen land.
She wasn’t born to a child of Eru Ilúvatar. She was made from the remaining dust and gas that was left over from the creation of Arda, pulled together by the will of a primordial being. She was created to shine, brightly and beautifully for beings she never thought she would meet. She had no true life, no star did. They lived, but not truly not like the children, or even the dwarves. They had no free will and their only thoughts were of light. Stars are like a fire without wood or coal. They’re pretty to look at, but with nothing to change into ashes, they had no substance. So Imagine the surprise that awoke within a shining gold star when she started to fall, and so the being who was meant to think of nothing else but to radiate light started to think of other things.
Stars cannot fall! Stars can NOT fall because we are meant to shine. You are not falling because you shinning. If you are shinning you are not falling!
Another shocking surprise hit her pretty little head when she opened her eyes to find her fears reaffirmed. She was falling and shinning. She could see it with her own eyes, but she had never had eyes before so how could she know if what she saw was true?
Her question was answered quite quickly and painfully considering she hit the ground with enough force to cause the earth to shake.
She tried to get up, but she’d never had legs before so they did not obey her commands and instead they decided to just wobbled about. She couldn't get up, but she could feel the earth between her toes and the wind against her skin. She felt alive truly alive. She could hear the winds sing, she should feel the earth’s warmth, and she could see the light of her sisters shinning down onto her and for a moment she was so caught up in the bliss of having a body that she forgot she was in pain. And as she’d never been in pain before it quickly overcame her and she fell into a deep slumber.
All the sons of Feanor saw was a star fly across the sky and land somewhere in the vast hills of Himring. They felt the ground shake and saw the night sky be flooded in light. For hours the light that radiated from the point of impact dimmed and waned, but by the time the sons of Feanor had gotten to the source of the light they were shocked to find a naked girl in a creator the size of lake.
When they decided to come out in search of source of the light they had hoped to find nothing more than an unusually bright and long lived fire, but here they were trying to make their way to the bottom of a creator trying to save a damsel.
